The seller's real estate agent emailed me after the settlement date that they didn't have any information from my conveyancer about the settlement. When I telephone them they told me that shortage of staff this has happened. Their shortage of staff is not my problem, they have charged me the full fees (fee was higher compare to others) and according to the fees they charged, the service was very poor.

Useless – Unhappy with this conveyancer, we had to chase them every step of the way and were often not responded to for weeks. They gave incorrect advice about our eligibility for stamp duty discount, then when we pulled them up on it, they said they were looking at the wrong file. They did not give us any advice on the contract and refused to look at it… Read more

within the cooling off period (as they “prioritise based on settlement date”) meaning if there was an issue we found that made us pull out, we would have lost our entire deposit. Do not use for residential transactions, you will be ignored and have to effectively do their job for them yet still be charged the full amount.

Manorwood - Unprofessional and Incompetent Conveyancing team – Manorwood Conveyancing has a team of incompetent people. We used them for our investment property settlement and had various staff members interact with us - they often confused themselves as they were conveyancing of behalf of us as the buyer and the vendor. They didn't seem to know what they are doing and never returned our calls or respond to our emails promptly. Such an awful experience - will never use them or recommend them to anyone.
