Highest rates in the business - literal robbers

Can confirm these prices are robbery. They have a monopoly on the complex I live in. 2 person household costing us $350 a MONTH! I don't understand how they're getting away with it, AVOID AT ALL COST. Show details

Don’t move into a place that has Metered Energy embedded- worst company highest prices!

I’ll be moving out of a perfectly good unit due to metered energy, higher costs and poor customer service- rude employees if you dare question your excessive bills due to their rate. My suggestion is if you are ever moving into large apartment buildings, townhouses etc- CHECK that METERED ENERGY are not the embedded provider because they are going to cause your financial stress and mental anguish. Not happy... breach of confidentiality

Not happy when I recieved letter with my name someone else's address. Had no response from my complaint.. service fee charge going up to 1.30 a day. I pay more in service fees than I do in actual power usage...too over priced and can't change as there only provider to our unit complex. Show details

Helpful in removing default from our account

Metered energy provide excellent service and support. Everyone i talked to was very attentive and helpful to my concerns which resulted in figuring out the best solution. Extremely poor billing team

The billings collection team at Metered Energy are unhelpful and you cant move to another provider if your premises has their meter. Will need to pay to get a new meter with another provider and still wont be able to move the heated water. Almost like a monopoly if your building complex has the metered energy system embedded. Hence the rude and dont care attitude of Metered energy accounts team.
Its worth moving away from Metered Energy for sure if you can as a customer. Show details

I hate this company

Needs to be investigated for their shady practices they are set up well so they can just do as they please charge you what they like. And harassment from this company is ongoing. They start the games once you owe them 30 dollers. Calls, texts, letters, emails and they then complain to your landlord to make you look bad if a bill is overdue. A bill cannot be then a month overdue before the games continue switching off your gas hot water etc .needs to be shut down. Nasty company right down there with loan sharks. Show details

A crap company!

A crap company! was forced to use this company where I lived, they already tried to charge me 2 times for a bill I had already paid! leave the apartment and I asked for a cancellation over the phone and they didn't take my order, a new tenant moved into the apartment a week after me and didn't change it to his name and now they want to charge me 3 months of energy bill someone else is using! And the worst thing they know about it, the real estate agent sent me an email showing my vacated and they refuse to correct their mistake! Now I have to go to court! Show details

Staff have been so helpful and have saved me a lot of stress

After leaving a DV relationship and my ex not paying the power after I left the residence, I found my credit file had a mark against it.
When I found this out (by being declined credit) I contacted Metered Energy immediately and they helped me through the process to have my name cleared. Show details

Poor customer service

Customer service is lacking. Received an email explaining we were on the collections list as our account was overdue & it was our final warning. Granted we did forget a bill, but we never received any reminders or initial warnings. We also never received our most recent bill. When I brought this up, the bill suddenly turned up. I was told we most definitely would have received emails & to check junk emails even though I said I'd already checked there. I don't think customer emails are read properly. Show details

Rude, Rubbish Garbage

Rude and harassing staff. Forced to be with so called energy provider. Overpriced, unprofessional and rude. A few +ve reveiws are their own staff with fake dp’s. Wish can rate -100 . If you ask something they get offended. It is bunch of clowns ripping the users. All [Content Removed] on customer service screaming at consumers and making themseves feel proud and they are one “ Recommending” their company in the review list to satisfy their performance.
