'issue has been satisfactorily resolved'. What??? They hadn't even spoken to me. I can only assume, since it was nearing 5pm, that the workers decided not to bother and just plain lied so they looked good to the bosses or whoever monitors them. Totally disgusted, will not shop here ever, and I advise everyone else to follow suit. There are plenty of other better online shoe shops around.
I have nothing but praise for how quickly my order was processed and how easy it was to place an order on the Mathers website. Expensive and nasty quality – I purchased a $189 pair of shoes, they were so poorly made that they blisters the soles of my feet and when I reported it I was told comfort is not covered by warranty. If a pair has such a bad sole design that you cant walk in them then they are not fit for purpose. I am very disappointed by the service and have reported them to consumer affairs. Show details

Don’t buy from Mathers in Black Fri sales!! – Ordered some Birkenstocks online in the Black Friday sales, noticed I’d got a refund via PayPal immediately following the Black Friday sales. No email to say why order canceled. Went back on their website to find the same shoes available to order in stock at full price $56 dearer. So obviously stock wasn’t an issue. So I bought 2 pairs of leather Colorado Jonte leather loafers for $89.50, perfect fit, so comfortable and just what I wanted. What a BARGAIN. So happy with Mathers. Thank you.
Wrong sizing and no refunds – Ordered size 12 shoes in various designs and the difference was rediculous* see photo). Got the return invoice, sent them off and after 3 weeks have not received a credit, or had any communication despite 3 emails ( call centre wo n t take calls) you ring the Mathers numbers and you get Williams shoes and several other shoe retailers all unwilling to take your call. Wasted $179.95 – My usual size 41 Django and Juliette shoe looked great and felt comfortable whole morning. However, as soon as I walked from the office and back for lunch, it felt awfully sharp and uncomfortable! When I called Mathers to explain my concerns I was just dismissed. You’re better off with Kmart, Big W or Target. Don’t waste your money looking for quality from Mathers.

Disappointing – Ordered a gift for Mother’s Day, 3 weeks ago & I haven’t received my order or a call. I called up today to check & They advise they can’t fulfill my order, 5 days before Mother’s Day! Incredibly poor customer service - Do not use this company unless you want to experience frustration and headaches – Somehow the website changed the delivery address number when completing our order. Thought it would be an easy change over the phone. Was willing to provide evidence of who I was but they didn't want to listen or correct the delivery address. As a result we had to spend time on the phone trying to organise a redirect through startrack. Recommend using someone else if you want good professional customer service.

Had been promised a full refund if they were not delivered by end of day 2/1/23 (which they were not), but finally received them on 3/3/23. The second pair are yet to be seen. I don’t even have a tracking number for them so I am starting to really worry. My order was over $300 dollars so I’m not at all happy.
The customer service email address is also bouncing back my emails so I have just filled out the online form in the hope that I get some kind of status update.
Overall, I will hope to get my second pair of shoes, but it is a damn lot of admin for what has so far been a sad online experience.

Couldn’t process an order in 5 working days – I placed an order on Sunday afternoon, made several phone calls to be told they were stocktaking and the order might not be processed until Monday which is 6 working days. After I placed the order the email confirmation said expect delays of processing between 2-4 days then up to 7 days before you receive the shoes. Are you kidding me??
Love My Sandals! – I purchased my first pair of shoes online recently. I was so impressed with the speed of delivery especially considering the current state of the weather. The sandals were perfect! reply. Went to the store where the staff were helpful but policy is that postal fees are not refundable. They also admitted that they can’t get hold of head office when they need to.
