many things that led my to choose this car seat for my child. The bamboo fabric was a must. Having baby facing reward for longer. So many excellent features. I also love the compact design. Although I have a large sedan I also have two young adult sons and its nice to know that they can still fit in the car comfortably enough with the baby seat, not that that happens too often these days. If I can, I will update when we get to try out the seat with our new baby.

Update: Bub loves it (almost 8 weeks old). We can easily fit adults in the back of the Falcon with the seat in the middle. I'm absolutely loving the strap design.

The quality and new features of the Maxi Cosi Pria LX G-Cell are amazing and like no other I have seen before and I have had a lot of car seats over the last 21 years straight with 7 children aged from 21 years old to 8 months old.

Quality features for me that stood out to me were..

* the built in rebound bar and the smart lock belt system that is cleverly positioned under the seat in its own little compartment which I think is a great idea not only for safety but also comfort.

* The smart guide top tether routing system which makes it so much easier, comfortable and less awkward getting baby in and out of seat. Finally someone came up with a safe solution to this issue after all these years, thank you Maxi Cosi.

* The air vents are amazing and an excellent idea for keeping baby comfortable and help prevent baby overheating and sweating as they can tend to do quite quickly and easily in some seats.

* The Maxi Cosi Pria LX G-Cell would have to be the best car seat I have ever seen. It looks and feels super safe and comfortable and it feels so stable and secure and doesn’t move around like some seats can no matter what you do to install them. Maxi Cosi also have great installation videos to show how to correctly install the seat.

* Super easy hassle free harness and headrest adjustment, no rethreading straps or removing seat and in my opinion, superior to other seats that have this option. Great for ensuring correct fit each time you buckle your growing child in. This would also be the perfect option for those who may have different children that need to use the seat like for grandparents or daycare workers ect.

* The quality and comfort of the design, fabric, padding and the shell is amazing and has the backed approval of a fussy but now happy and content baby. Happy baby= happy Mummy and a more enjoyable car drive for all, with the addition of added piece of mind knowing you have chosen a quality, safe car seat for your baby.

* Maxi Cosi also have the best warranty for their car seats that double some other brands but I don’t think you would ever need it. I also have 2x 2019 Maxi Cosi Luna Pros and they still look and feel like new.

I absolutely love this car seat and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to buy it, you will not be disappointed.

After trying so many different brands and car seats I now insist on Maxi Cosi, whether it be capsules, convertible car seats or booster seats it’s Maxi Cosi only for my children.

And last but not least the customer service is outstanding. Staff are super friendly, helpful, informative and seem to be happy to answer any questions you have.

machine wash. - Looks quite nice compared to some other car seats. - On the smaller side - not a huge car seat (really only takes 1 spot). - The BEST part is the tether strap that is beautifully tucked away, meaning you can wrangle a wriggly baby in & out without having to worry about juggling the strap as well.

Cons: - Only one if I had to find one - putting the covers back on takes a bit of practice and it's hard to get it the same level of tightness. But that could be the case for all car seats (as I've only had this one). It's not a huge issue though so it doesn't even warrant losing any points for it. Baby is still comfortable.

check those out throughout your installation. It is a great compact seat and fits great in my Tucson and my partner Triton Ute. The material is breathable bamboo and has been amazing in the Australian summer. Of course, my favourite feature is the Smart-Guide top tether, GAME CHANGER! It might seem like a small thing to do but wrangling my toddler in has never been easier! Once you try this seat I guarantee you'll never go back! I recommend it to all my mum friends. Great car seat! Easy to get baby in and out! – Super functional and easy to use love the smart guide so that the tether is not in the way! Oh, and if that's not enough, it fits in my Fiat 500 which is like the smallest car you can think of and I still have room in the front seat for a passenger!

clean, dry and but back on. The magnets at each side of the car seat wings help locking the harness in positon and out of the way. A nice bonus is that it's a little bit more compact than the competigion (e.g. Britax Safe and Sound) despite having more room for the baby. You can see that Maxi-Cosi put some thoughts in every espect of the seat. We purchased the car seat knowing that could work for both my wife's car (Kia Cerato) and my ute (Ford Ranger). We haven't been disappointed. Did I also mention that Maxi-Cosi provides full lifetime warranty and replacement of the car seat in case of accident?! That's piece of mind.
