MDC Voyager RF Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi, I’m looking to buy a MDC 2014 rear fold secondhand, and I’m concerned about comments here re tow ball weight. Can you help and give me some indication of what it may be?
Fully loaded up to 200kg. The coupling is rated for a 250kg ball weight loading on the original polyblock.
Do they come standard with electric brakes
This model is redundant now but yes they did.
I have an empty ball weight of 260kg no water and 240kg with full tank of water and a Semi loaded ball weight of 290kg Once loaded properly for a 5-7 day trip I’m over 320kg I’m really concerned about this. Does anyone have a solution other than selling the trailer ?
Empty front lockers. Move it to inside tow vehicle or at the back on top of trailer
Well thats not a solution but a workaround for a Design Error. That alone has turned me off. Thats what the front lockers are for all your gear then why have them? Thanks for the great info saved me making a mistake. MDC it should not only look great but also be function as the design intended. I thought you were a good company, but alas just like every other company extracting dollars whilst doing smoke and mirrors.
Doesn't sound at all right to me, what scale are you using to measure the ball weight?
Is there a difference in draw bar length on a 2014 voyages with or without fridge box
Are you talking about the rear fold?
