The motor will not switch on after the last use.... it was working well. Is there a fuse somewhere in the unit?
Pressure sensor/switch probably gone. Will build up too much pressure if it doesnt switch off. Unless the issue is caused by a water leak so dropping constantly the pressure. Check for leaking water.

I tried to connect the hose to the brass fitting and it seems to have damaged the brass fitting and I am not sure about the hose fitting either. It is 15mm- cheap Chinese sh.... Every other brand is 14mm and not compatible.
Thank you , I kind of figured this out. It was not advertised as a special and works very well. I have learnt not to purchase anything again unless spare parts are available as well. The hose will never be disconnected again. Regards Ray
Most MechPro stuff is cheap chinese rubbish.
Hi I have a mechpro tool box and one of the drawers is stuck. How do I get it out? Thanks
Did you get your drawer unstuck? I had the same issue recently and worked out it's the sliding locking mechanism behind the drawer. You need to remove the drawer above, then have someone turn the key and you push up the sliding lock running down the middle of the rear of cabinet, then pull on drawer at same time.
I want to get a replacement gun how much will it cost to get one i live in perth
I have a Mechpro Water Blaster, similar model to MP9170. The nozzle has packed up but I understand this model is no longer available. Does the nozzle on the new blue model of similar pressure 2200mpi fit the handle extension on my Yellow? And if so can I purchase one for how much?
these products don't have any spare parts brought into the country, nothing was interchangeable, hence the price paid, better off getting a gherni of spitwater, and you can get any part for any model same day if you pick up. sometimes the old sayings are so true, buying cheap isn't the cheapest way to buy things !
Everything has turned out just dandy, I have been able to repair (adapt) the old nozzle so that it works once again. No doubt, being a cheap water blaster, I can expect something else to pack up in the future, hope I can adapt that to work also.
Me too. I glued a standard 1/2"BSP brass fitting onto the odd sized aluminium fitting with epoxy. There is a special technique for glueing aluminium. Sand until shiny. Apply epoxy. Lightly sand again while covered in glue. This stops the weakly attached oxide layer forming immediately after sanding.
My blaster just stopped and I can't get it going again, any tips?
Throw it away!
