Medmate

Said cannot provide repeat scripts which was not made clear prior to booking. Booked a time for a call, however they were 1.5 hours late. Tried to ring customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes and did not receive a call back.

Paid for full issue of repeats, only received 3. Customer servicer said they would issue a refund which I had to constantly follow-up. They then said I can have a small voucher. Definitely won't be using or recommending this servicer again.

Waited half day and can't even rest... still waiting I waited 2 hours to get a call from the doctor on a weekday early morning. Then waited 1 hour to get my medical certificate, which is not mine! Customer service doesn't pick up their phone and takes ages to reply to messages.

As a first time user I had to register my personal details like DOB. When I tried to submit the details it doesn't do anything. Later on I got a call to register. I explained. She tried but no luck. Anyway the Doctor called. Said it was a viral… Read more

infection. Just take vitamin C, Ibuprofen etc. Three days later my condition has gone downhill. I will go and see an in-person doctor.

Doctor was wonderful and I was called for my appointment at correct time. So easy to talk to and such a great service for my age and mobility. Wonderful that this service is available

Got this appointment at 5:42 PM through HealthEngine for my wife suffering from Sinusitis. When we emailed them after no response for over 90 minutes, we were sent a text around 7:40 PM saying we ought to expect a call in an hour. It is past 9:12 PM now (3.5 hours after the first contact and 1.5 after the email) and there's no sign of a call yet. Such a frustrating experience.

making contact via phone, I was however given updates about longer wait times during the busy period (Dec 29th). The interaction with the medical officer online was comprehensive, information shared was easy to understand and I felt reassured we were given the right advice for our son. The next day I was pleasantly surprised to have a follow up from a Registered Nurse (Angela) who also was informative and also felt very comfortable to ask questions. My husband was really unwell and we couldn’t get into our local GP, so Medmate was a great option, especially on a weekend over the festive period. The appointment was easy to book, the wait time was short, and we got exactly what we needed. I’ll be recommending it to family and friends!

The best service I have ever come across, I am telling everyone about this Company. Wow there is no hidden fee's they help sort things out straight away if you are unsure. I needed to have blood test for a list of things, the cost was less than $40. Absolutely amazing service I highly recommend to anyone.

Waste of money. Paid $22.50 for a single month's worth with no repeats - they seem to have changed their policy to not allow repeats. I sent in a complaint a week ago and have heard nothing back. Definitely recommend using Hola Health (or any of the other 20 services that do the same thing) instead of this rip off.

I had a G.P. appointment telehealth because of a fever, sore throat and cough. The appointment was on Monday evening. The doctor gives me a certificate for 3 days including Monday (a non work day). Doctor was super inflexible and despite explaining that the certificate and work days were Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday would not issue a correct certificate. Won’t be using this service again and have found easy to access alternatives.

Quick and helpful service. Received all requested prescriptions and was offered pathology results discussion afterwards. Website is easy to use, would recommend.

I had a very frustrating experience. I made my appointment at 8:30 pm and received a message saying the doctor would be with me within an hour. through live chat and was told the doctor would call within 35–45 minutes. An hour later, I finally received a call. I explained that this was the worst case of tonsillitis I’ve ever had (I get it twice a year), only to be prescribed a low dose,half the usual amount that I normally take for this condition.

Overall, the delays and the under-dosing left me extremely frustrated, especially given how unwell I was.

trouble to properly understand my situation. Both the nurses and doctors not only did that, but they also took the trouble to follow up to make sure I was okay (I was). Professional, friendly and easy to deal with – very much appreciated.

Amazing service from Medmate. Follow-up call from nurse regarding previous week service was a pleasant bonus and created an opportunity for me to ask questions and discuss treatment options. Doctors and nurses through Medmate have been so good in what has been, on occasion, a challenging path through the medical maze!

little because I didn’t know if I would even get a call and the thought of being turned away from what I knew my child needed. I am a busy working, studying, solo mum and I desperately wanted this to work… AND IT DID! I got text updates on the strange number that would call me (so I knew it wasn’t another solar company) I got time estimates AND I GOT THE CALL!

The doctor let me speak. Heard my reasoning and the research I had done to back up what I needed. He agreed and we walked through detailed instructions. 100% happy that I was seen and listened to.

The next day.. I get messages.. an update about a non solar company number calling me, a time estimate… but I hadn’t made an appointment today. I was worried I got scammed.. I was trying to work from home, my sick child still “being my BFF” super closely and another call coming?

The call came and I answered.. it was a beautifully friendly Nurse named Angela! She was checking in to see how my daughter was and if I needed anything. SHOCKED! I was SHOCKED! I was also thankful and so glad that I picked Medmate. I will be using them again over my local doctors that I need to wait 1 week to be able to see or drive and hour to the nearest hospital.

Medmate would have to be the best online Medical Service I've come across. Everyone knows how hard it is to see a Dr, especially in NSW. Just when you think it can't get any better, you receive a follow up call from a registered nurse and a direct email to that nurse should you have any questions or further requirements. Medmate offers amazing service and the costs were extremely reasonable and another bonus is a discount code to use for a future booking. Highly Recommend and will definitely use them in future !

Usually get a quick response. I live in a rural area with a shrinking medical service. Often hard to access a doctor here so Medmate is perfect for scripts and run of the mill medical issues. to me, as I don’t like taking medication normally. I got a certificate for work purposes immediately after the call. After a few days I got a notification from nurse Angela who told me she’d call for a check up later in the day. I just got off that call, and she reassured me on my progress to getting better, and offered a solution to a side effect of the antibiotics I’m taking. I couldn’t be happier with my experience in using medmate and I will definitely use it again if I ever need a doctor appointment.
