Based on the compatibility list alone, I made the purchase.
3 days after placing my order, I get an email advising, and I quote; "Thank you for your order! Could you please advise the model of the PSU?".
I respond with, and I quote; "Have you guys seriously not shipped my order yet? I purchased it explicitly for an urgent delivery, and you guys have delayed the shipment of my order..... This is really frustrating. "
Their response? I quote; "Please advise the model of the PSU you have, so the correct cable pin type can be supplied, alternatively we can cancel the order for you to source locally to you if you require the item urgently. << COMPATIBILITY LIST HERE >> Warning: Original Seasonic cables only work on Seasonic power supply, please DO NOT apply the cables cross other brand of power supply; even the same model in different hardware version, to connecting wrong or incompatible cables in contacting with the power supply may cause of property damage. No where, not once, on the product listing does it state this.
What an absolute WASTE of my time - I have now been set back.
After sending them a disgruntled email, I am met with: "Our supplier will not release the goods without confirmation from you of the exact model of the powersupply for liability reasons under Australian Consumer Law. Please advise the model you have, or we will cancel your order and issue a refund."
What kind of customer service is that? First and foremost, ACL has nothing to do with this matter - the ACL is setup to protect consumers against faulty products. The product listing explicitly stated the compatibility list, and as such, ACL has nothing to do with this matter. They are quick to want to cancel and refund my order. Absolutely ridiculous customer support - shame on MegaBuy.
I will NEVER make a purchase with this company, ever again. First and last. Shame.
Follow-up · The store never followed up, other than just issuing a refund - condescending staff, who don't care about their customers. Disappointing.

A lot of hassle I didn't need – The price was good and the computer arrived satisfactorily but the process of checking my account as a new user was flawed. I had a small amount that I hadn't authorized taken from my (supposedly secure) account and the bank notified me. I then had to cancel my card and have it reissued.
