When you want the job done properly – We had water under our ensuite shower floor tiles. Matt from Megasealed inspected it and indicated their system should stabilise these tiles and fix the problem. I left the review for a couple of weeks to make sure the problem stayed fixed and it has. It wasn't cheap (the only reason for four stars instead of five), but you're paying for expertise not labour.
Extraordinarily dissatisfied – We engaged the services of Megasealed to renovate our upstairs bathroom which was 25 years old. The tradesman who arrived (too sick to work) immediately complained about not being paid enough for the quoted job and left for another 8 days. any money- not my problem! Then he said he was only going to tile the shower and not the rest of the bathroom- expecting we would be okay with different wall tiles around the bath! Not happening. The quote didn't allow for enough tiles so my husband had to buy more packs. Then the tiler informed us that he had to return to QLD and couldn't grout the tiles. My husband assured him the lighting was suitable and he would be doing the grouting. This took over two and half weeks to get to this point. He left a huge gap in the top tile line where he had used a grinder to cut out the old tiles away (with all the plaster) and told us we had to get a plasterer to fix it. We had another tradesman from Megasealed come in to fill the gap and it looks terrible. We have engaged the services of an independent tiler to rectify the eyesore. I was so very distressed with the whole saga and though requested a number of times, the original rep who quoted would not return any calls and we called him numerous times. He was also not interested in coming out to see the finished job before we settled the account. After four weeks of waiting we decided to pay the account and never, ever have anything to do with Megasealed again. We would actively discourage any member of the public from using their services.

Great work on a dodgy looking shower – Today Ahmad came out to regrout and seal our main shower. We bought this house in October; and I’ve hated looking at and using this shower due to missing and discoloured grout and a weird smell. One star as it wont allow me minus stars! – Took three days to seal a shower that didn't need sealing. Shower base was only grouted within the last five years! Didn't need re-grouting!! The leak was below the shower base and even after all the work, they still did not accept that it was still leaking! Lost carpet and expensive timber flooring now because of these non professionals idiots. Not paying a grand for nothing!

No response for 3 months! – I called Megasealed from last Nov. They sent me [name removed], one of their contractor. She came to my unit for quotation and took several pictures of balcony. I've never seen such a irresponsible company. I've wasted 3 months and don't wanna get any more complain from my neighbor. If they can't do the job, they need to let me know earlier at least. I really disappointed with Megasealed.

I nudged him a couple of times over maybe a week and a half, both times he assured me that he was waiting on feedback from his boss and would get back to me by the end of the day, but I haven't heard from him since.
In the end I had to scramble to find another tiler who could do the job in time and he did great work. But I think my job was put in the 'too hard' basket by Megasealed and rather than tell me they didn't want to do it, they chose to just ignore me. Very disappointing, especially given that he was aware of my tight timeline.
