Oskar from Megasealed went above and beyond to resolve a problem caused by a previous builder at my apartment. He took the time to clearly explain everything and patiently answered all my questions. Our shower was looking rundown and a bit tired. We had the clever idea to tile over the old tiles with new tiles – job done. That’s what we thought! the shower refurbished with an epoxy grout. We had no idea what this was and we also do not have an address book full of tile repair contacts. Outcome-Google = Megasealed Central (the franchise that covers our location). We the read many reviews on Product Review site. The appointment was set and right on the appointed moment the assessor arrived and his suggestion concurred with our thinking – “new epoxy grout to the floor and half way up the wall” We thought the price was on the higher side than we had imagined based; on a “we really know nothing basis” and accepted the quote. The professional assigned to our job arrived right on time and worked hard and was finished in about 3.5 – 4 hours. All good. Sometimes things go wrong and there was an issue which took commitment and effort to resolve until Oskar Wlodarcryk took over. It was involved, technical and complex but, for the whole time Oskar was a brick-indefatigable. (Kept at it) Resolved everything perfectly. It was a not a good scene but,Oskar was amazing as was the tiler-Ahmad.

Shocking communication – Rung twice - said that a consultant would get back to me which they didn't. They came recommended by an engineer. I wouldn't waste my time with them. I'm so sick of businesses claiming to be something they're not.
Will not use again – We recently engaged Megaseal Melbourne Central to fix one of our showers. We selected Megaseal over a number of other quotes for a single reason: Their assessor identified that simple sealing would not be sufficient and that additional epoxy sealing of the drain would be required. competent and even with laypersons’ eyes it was obvious that he was correct when being shown the right spot. Other companies had simply not bothered to disassemble the drain. We selected Megaseal even though they gave the most expensive quote since the quote included these works.
A while later works were executed and the invoice was sent. When I checked the works it turned out that the sealing of the drain had not been completed. No mention of this was made. When I complained about this to Megaseal they stated they could no execute these works “since we are not plumbers”. Why then quote on it??? Still, the full quote price (including this item) was invoiced.
After a lot of back and forth, we came to an agreement to lower the price and have the drain sealing done in different ways. I ended up doing this as a DIY job (which were very simple). In essence, the assessor (Jay) was competent. However, it turns out that the people performing the repairs and the assessors are different and they performed a simple run-of-the-mill surface shower seal without giving any thought to the scope of works in the quote.
The important part is: had we simply paid and started to use the shower again, we would have damaged the just-repaired floor of the bathroom again as the true cause of the problem had not been fixed.
Communications with the director (Monique) were also somewhat disjointed and unreliable.
Lesson learned: next time we will not engage a shower-sealing franchise but rather a proper plumbing company that also offers shower fixing.
We will not use Megaseal again.
Slow to no show.......Leaky service – Started well with professional phone reception, then took 3 weeks to give a quote ($980). I signed a 30 day agreement and job acceptance with 2-3 weeks completion agreed. Now 42 days and still no start date, read some reviews and think this could be a blessing in disguise.

Shower wall tiles leaking fixed – Our washer room was having leaking issues due to waterproof no longer working. A Great Result – We had a leaking and dirty shower base which we tried to rectify ourselves with no success. Megasealed provided a quote which we thought was reasonable. My shower was a disaster. Now it’s amazing! – Ok, so these bloody legends stopped the leaks and regrouted the shower and it’s been 3 months and it’s been fixed and working and looks great. Outstanding service by Shaun – Had a leak in both showers... Shaun was allocated to the job and not only exceeded my expectations with the end result but also with his professionalism, punctuality and explanation of the repair. Prompt and great service – I have used Megasealed a couple of times now and have found their service to be excellent. They were prompt in sending out Brendan to give me a quote then arranging Hameed to come out and fix our main shower and ensuite.
