person. They were great, they put me at ease straight away and to be quite frank, simply took control of the situation on my behalf. I was provided with a 4WD hire car similar to mine, newer model actually, in around 50 minutes! I still find that service amazing to this day. Throughout the process I was given weekly updates, sometimes twice a week, with images of my car showing works being done, the overall progress even when inspections were being done. All this helped reduce the stress of it all. And when all was done, the car was delivered to my home just after 6pm when I get home and it is just perfect! If you too end up in the wrong place at the wrong time like me don't hesitate to call Melbourne Collision Repair Centre Mentone they take care of everything. Simply first class.

unroadworthy, according to a RACV report. $6, 600 (!) later, such fraudulent behavior and lack of professionalism make it clear that this business operates unethically. And that's an undersatement of the century.

didn’t say who they were but asked about the accident and seemed friendly enough once I worked out it was a guy from the repair place, then I was told they can’t give a quote online even though it says free quote online and to provide pics which I did. They said they will need to view the car for the quote so they organized a tow for me to take it to them, I was directed that another guy will call me who I was told was the boss so when I spoke to this guy I asked how much is this going to cost me and was told only $150, after the whole day wasted at home waiting on the tow truck that I was told would come within 2 hours of the call I received, I called this boss guy back after 3 hours and he said sorry the tow will be there in 1 hour, called him back around 5:30 and was told the tow guy was supposed to call me which he didn’t so the boss tried to 3 way call but the tow guy didn’t answer, eventually around 7pm I finally got the call from this tow guy and he told me he couldn’t pick it up today, now I was busy the next few days and it was hard enough to organize a set time with this guy eventually he set a time the next day as he couldn’t do morning due to another tow for someone else a few hours away and then he still never showed at that time he arranged with me, eventually after a few calls to him, the boss and the original guy I first spoke to first, he finally came and took the car…. I didn’t hear nothing by the next afternoon (Friday) so I called and was told they are waiting on prices so I left it over the weekend till Tuesday afternoon, I called and spoke to this guy who now I’m finding out is in charge but was away and was told they would email the quote, I didn’t receive it so I called back around closing time and was told the receptionist there was told to email it but had not done it and so after that call it was emailed straight away, now for pricing, I was quoted just over $6600 for the repair lucky we know another repair place just thought we would try somewhere closer to us and got it fixed for just under $4000 with our guy which included the tow… I would never go back to these guys after this experience with them, when I went to pay for the tow balance before getting the car moved from them, I was hit with a storage charge even though I argued I never was told of any charge, till after I told them I didn’t want to go with them for the repairs… I would of been happy to pay for the 2 days the car was there after the quote was completed if they had informed me of it but they never did till I went to pay the balance and I explained what the boss guy quoted me over the phone for getting this quote and was told “oh that guy is no longer with us” and the quote does cost as for pulling parts apart to see what’s damaged in the end I paid $385 just for a tow, administration fees and storage fees. Now though all the years I have things done to cars I have never had any other repair place charge me a storage fee even though they are within the rights to do so they also are obligated to inform the customer before hand which they did not, I would avoid these guys unless your happy to be messed around and over charged on the work you need doing…

Happy – Recently left a bad review against the owner which was unfair and untrue, done as good a job with what they had as any other repair shop would have. I hope my misjudgement hasn't caused yhe owner or hos family any grief.

Great service – I was very pleased with the courtesy and consideration shown to me , the timely completion of the work and the exceptional communication from Reception at the repair centre in Mentone

1st class service – We have been in two not at fault collisions recently and on both occasions Melbourne collision repair center have been there for us every step of the way, making what is usually a very stressful situation, a breeze. Nissan x trail was given. For myself, i run a small business and one of our vans was hit and we needed a replacement van, once again, not a problem, we were given a Hyundai i load. As far as the repairs go, I can’t fault them either, they look sensational. They take care of literally everything, throw them your keys and let them handle it. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Scammers – Lead you to believe they are from your insurance company, Job was done reasonably well, However, the radio was stolen from the car, and damage done to the back panel, and it`s almost impossible to contact them once they have your vehicle, Will never be conned by them again!

AWFUL – these people are fine until they have your work then they treat you with distain and aggressive abusive behaviour - they had guaranteed Id have my car returned to me and the loan car picked up but after they took more than a month to fix my car they then gave me an hours notice they were doing the swap over ... they had messaged 2 weeks before… Read more

saying it was ready then on the day without any consultation in all that time they called to say they were delivering then and there. I was 4 hours from home for work and so they said I had to travel to them (hour and half from home where they had picked up my car originally) and if I didn't get it they threatened they would charge me STORAGE FEES!!! There are plenty of other places avoid these people who also conned me into signing with a go between company to claim the insurance for fixing my car. AVOID AVOID AVOID

fault pays off. We had to go into their Elwood office and Paul was shaking when we had to argue to get our car back. We were about to seek assistance from Police if our car would not have been returned to us. We said to them legally they cannot hold our vehicle. None of their staff know what they are doing. They got us to sign the generic rental agreement when none of their hidden processes were explained from their staff at the time of our car pick up for repair. All their hidden processes were getting explained to us at every stage, so dodgy. Then they charged our credit card with providing fraudulent pictures claiming that we damaged their car. The pictures they sent to us were taken when the car was not in our possession. When their driver picked up the hire car from us he confirmed everything is fine and we will not be charged for anything. Even one of their office staff ensured us of this. Unbelievable service. David and Paul are two people that I have no customer service service skills at all. David intimidated and verbal abuse me over the phone. They are a BIG NO NO COMPANY. I am surprised how they are still operating.

Great customer service – Paul gave us great advice on what directions we should take after our car was rear ended. He provided great customer service and kept us updated throughout the whole process. We were also provided with a luxurious replacement car while we waited for our car to be repaired. I had previously gone to other repair shops who had no interest in repairing my car. MCRC were friendly and enthusiastic from day 1 compared to the other shops.

Best experience couldn’t fault a thing – From start to finish they were so helpful, friendly and professional. Awesome loan car, kept me appraised of progress and perfect repair. The car came back clean and good as new!!
