Worst after purchase service
Worst experience after purchase. Bought a sofa now spring is popping out which is a manufacturing defect. Sofa is still under warranty chasing them to get it fixed over a month now still no any response from them.
Absolutely appalling business and service
Bedhead ordered and paid for online in the middle of August and two months later goods still not received.
1. Goods advertised as being in stock when it turns out they weren't and had to wait six weeks for stock to come in.
2. Dispatched (allegedly) on the 6th October and now apparently lost in transit (I would have to say that Toll have been appalling as well in this case...their system tells me they picked it up but they can't find it). A one star rating flatters this business to be honest.
Beware - they are fraud.
They shipped low quality damaged couch with missing parts. On our return request they asked to pack it and share pictures. When we packed and asked them to pick up, they excused us and said they will not accept return. They do not entertain customer complains. Their invisible customer care team sits somewhere overseas. Customer care not available on call but they are good in blaming customer in emails.
I am looking to sue them in court any idea is welcome.
Sale via Catch of the Day
BUYER BEWARE! If I could give zero stars I would. Delivery drivers damaged couch which was purchased via their selling through ‘Catch of the Day’ under the name ‘The Melbourians’. Provided photo evidence as well as detailed description of what happened and they advise that their Delivery Driver denies entirely what happened so calling me a liar and not honouring any responsibility for their quality of service and care for not just your items purchased but their customers. Couch was damaged before it even had a chance to be used. You cannot cont...act anyone on their listed contact details. catch of the Day customer service team have been amazing and understanding though but are also being strung along by the poor customer service of this business. BELIEVE the negative reviews you read about their customer service and by that alone I HIGHLY recommend you take your business elsewhere. UPDATED: I was also told I signed for the item but did not or was never asked to sign so the driver fraudulently signed on my behalf.
Excellent customer service at Hoppers crossing store
I was assisted by a wonderful staff member at Hoppers crossing shop to get my furniture safely delivered during covid crisis. she was very responsive to all my queries and attended to them promptly even though I initially ordered my furniture from Dandenong store. giving a 5 star review to
Melbournians furniture as a gesture of respect for the amazing customer service received from this particular staff member
I’m not satisfied with the Oak furniture from here. First of all I bought the oak tv unit it had chips on the feet, the top to the under shelf does not join, the top is lifted and not enough silicone to join it in the cracks straight across.
The buffet from the second to third draw doesn’t have a gap like the top to second draw and it scrapes the draws together it is very noticeable in my formal lounge. I am not happy at all it’s just poor quality making I’m so angry right now.
Worst after sales customer service
I have recently bought a pillow top double size mattress from Melbournians Furniture (Furn House Dandenong) and I’ve been a customer for them since 2013 for mattresses and furniture. (The bed frame, I am using for said mattress is bought from Fantastic furniture and previously also I had double size mattress bought from Melbournians Furniture few years back which fit well top the frame). Anyway, when I got my new mattress it’s short to the bed frame by 10cm lengthwise and 5cm widthwise. I can see the floor & put my hand through clearly from the...gap. As it’s significant error in size I call them and advise, and I was asked to drop a mail to customer services with photos and details. I have done that showing clear photos, after that they wanted me to send photos of measuring the mattress, and then they wanted mattress to put on the floor upside down and measured and many more. I have done all and still they came back and ask for more as that is not correct. And when I checked actually this mattress is smaller than the Australian standard double size mattress. What I can't understand is when we can see the floor through a big gap with the mattress on the bed frame which the photo I have sent to them, they still try to get check measurements and argue on that without admitting this product is wrong. I was tired of all extra work I have to do and it’s not easy to play around with a mattresses. I am just letting you all know the way they handled the situation which is really disappointing. As I mentioned earlier, I have bought many things from them and I learnt they have no value to their customers once they sold an item. I am not recommending them at all to anyone else now.
Paid by eft for stuff they turned out not to have in stock. So they sent me across town to a locked warehouse to collect. Warehouse said the items I'd paid for not available and to contact the store about it. The store wouldnt answer calls. It took 3 hours, but I got my item in the end. It was not a normal way of shopping to be slipping in the warehouse door despite the protestations of the attendant who clearly had inatructions to lock out all customers. I refused to leave until I either had that refund or the item I'd come to collect. It took a call to the boss, but I did get my item in the end. Had I not been very stubborn and insisyent, I don't think I'd have seen my money again.

SCAM: No product and No refund
They give false dates for product delivery and do not provide refund. For refund they give an email id to contact but does not entertain the the buyer.
They deduct 20% for refund .
I purchased an out of stock product, which did not come on time. They said they will deduct 20% for restocking of already out of stock product.
They run business fradulently.
Very Disappointed, Stay away!
What you see is NOT what you get. And horrible customer service.. they clearly don’t care about return customers.
I purchased a wooden bed Frame and when it arrived it was a completely different look to the picture. Granted the small print said ‘may slightly vary to picture displayed’ BUT this was not at all a slight variation, it was completely different. I got a yellow bed, not a chalky lighter wood. See pics below.
Spoke to [name removed] in customer service multiple times and sent pictures hoping someone at the business would care to keep ...a customer happy.. was not looking for a refund just an exchange. Got no care for the fact that they sold me or anyone a misguided product and little effort to rectify and keep the customer happy. Couldn’t be more disappointed. what I thought I was getting below: chalky look /reclaimed look. what I received: very yellow wood.
Fabulous customer service fast replies and product knowledge. georgeous comfortable quality chair, just screw on the legs and enjoy. My first piece of many to come. Perfect in every way
Disappointed with the service provided by melbourniansfurniture customer support and the Dandenong store.
1st of all, order didn’t arrive on the date, the sales lady forgot the order to arrange it. I had to take another day off to get the delivery.

Appalling Customer Service
Ordered some furniture through this company, had a good sales assistant but it all went downhill from there. When I spoke with the sales assistant I stated that I needed this delivered to the Hoppers Crossing store for pick up. The sales assistant said that wouldn't be a problem and that I would just need to give her a couple of day's notice to get it there from their warehouse also that there would be NO CHARGE. Pathetic excuse of customer service
Customer service is absolutely non existent. Don’t support this business at all, invest in somewhere where they actually care about their customers because clearly this company does not. Can not even respond to emails and fix their mistakes.
Really bad quality beds. Yet another 1 star review.
Hey you get what you pay for. Not that it was cheap, but the quality of the bed was poor and fell apart 2 weeks outside of warranty.
Rang and surprise, surprise, they offered no support or assistance at all.
Just look at how many 1 star reviews they have.
I should have looked here first.
