retailers that I've received in 2-5 days, plus stuff from China in a quicker time than from Metro Hobbies. Very disappointed.

Need to up the people skills – Packaging and postage always good. However, they do not respond to their social media pages like Facebook messages and even their own online forms! That human contact element is missing. They do answer the phone though, and then you tell them they are not responding - always apologetic. it's just slackness. I see they don't even respond to these reviews. Shows their general interest in customers.

My favourite hobby store – I’ve made several purchases from Metro Hobbies over the past year or so. They have a great product range and a web site that makes it easy to find and order items. Their prices are reasonable and delivery is fast. Customer service is excellent, staff have an amazing product knowledge and are always willing to help out either on the phone or in person at the store. Highly recommended!

hearing nothing and get told they wouldn’t arrive until Nov 2021. I just asked for a refund. I understand things don’t always go to plan but no feed back or follow ups is terrible service.

Missed my kids birthday - ridiculous payment processes – There are a plethora of options to buy whatever Metro Hobbies sells on other websites here in Australia. Their approach to payments and confirmations is what I'd expect of a 3rd world country customer needed to be verified. If you don't have a deadline and don't mind a long process to buy whatever it is you're looking at then metro I'm sure is OK. If you'd like speedy, reliable business as usual checkout, dont buy from Metro.

Slow sending items – I read all these great reviews about these guys . Well on three occasions we have ordered through their online site . Talk about slow to send on every order sent on day 3 or 4 then even though express post selected another week before you see it. Maybe it's because we are in another state but packaging and sending is to slow.

RC jeep – Bought a Roc hobby jeep online absolutely love it fast delivery and well packed the guys where very helpful.I would recommend Metro hobbies to everyone I know .look forward to next visit. To Melbourne.

Great Online Store – Have ordered five times from Metro Hobbies and every time goods arrive in factory sealed boxes that are wrapped in heavy bubble wrap then placed inside an outer packing box. They take care to see that you get your order in perfect condition which is great. Nothing worse than getting RC gear that is damaged in transit.

Customer Service 'The best you could ask for' – I went in to collect a click and collect order and we had some issues with me not bringing the right ID etc. This was entirely my fault as I did not read the confirmation email carefully enough. Being the incredible staff that they are, they adapted and fixed it up and I was able to receive my products without any further dramas. blame the store. It's a fantastic hobbies store to shop at with a wide range of items. I feel like a kid is a candy store when I walk into the store personally to have a look around. Fantastic customer service and always polite to there customers.

Great experience – I've bought a few things from Metro Hobbies web page over the last few months. Their service and communication is great. Their handling time is fast. The main reason keep going back to them is because they've been the cheapest seller I could find that had what I wanted.
