lOVE THIS CAR

Recommend it. Loaded with features. Safety features for of older drivers.

Takes some time to get used to trusting some of the features.

On the brink of hands free driving but requiring you to be in control.

My Google review: Everyone I met was top notch. Professional, no gimmick. Johnston is a a great guy and recommend him. This color was made for this car or was the car made for the color. Worth the wait to get one of the first on the Peninsula. Show details

Lemon

Has many problems. Slow to accelerate making it dangerous entering traffic, gear system issues, touch screen is very slow to respond. Engine is too small for a car this size. Several other issues around electrics. Show details

Real review

My review is an owner honest review. Not a paid review. I would hire one of these before making a purchase. Honestly, It's just OK. You'll hear strange sounds, rattles, and some of the safety features hit and miss. They have some good points too don't get me wrong. If I could turn back time , I would have saved my money. Show details

Good car overall, just quirks in electronics

Turbo model is fast and zippy, easy to manoeuvre. Only have issues with electronics, headlights kept turning on in daylight, rain wiper sensor not working, speed sign detection needs to be turned on each time, settings don't save. Occasional grinding sound heard & felt under the car happened about 3 times will need to have checked out. Suspension is not great, Good fuel efficiency Show details

Great budget car with high end technology and features

We have had the MG ZST Core for about 4 months now.
I'm impressed with the feature set and technology.
It is a good size for a family of 4.
I personally wouldn't go for the higher end models. The real value for money is in the Core. Also it has cloth seats which I prefer in hot weather.
Entertainment system suites me well.

The power isn't amazing, but in test drives with Kia in the same range and higher it outperformed. I would suggest testing as many cars in the price range and come to your own conclusion. I found the ZST had a nicer interior than most. Kias felt a little basic inside. Show details

I have the 23 model and I have the same issue but MG say it’s normal on my model. Not sure that I’m happy with that answer as a new car should be quiet.

My wifes MG ZST has done 60,000 km and the rear wheel bearing have gone in them, is that normal to go that quick?

Hi
I have been given a zst as a company car 2 weeks ago, hasn't done a thousand km yet. When I take off from the traffic lights, it dies (still runs but won't accelerate). Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for your help. I'm running n95 and I think the auto hand break may have something to do with the issue. I drove 30km to work today without the auto handbrake and it was a bit better.
See how it goes.
Cheers
