“experienced” staff were adamant my ring was not from MH when I wanted a clean. I told them to check their systems and said they didn’t have record for rings > 10 years ago. Staff had an attitude and had a discussion that ring “was not one of theirs”. Made u feel fantastic that no one knew about MH ring. Staff even said “you do have the paperwork at home right?!” rather rudely I might add. Other stores are great, just not this new store at Enex 100 Perth.
Ring was cleaned at the end with much displeasure. Have written to customer feedback and response was - management training will be followed up. I sure hope so.

Absolutely love the team at Michael Hill Midland Gate. They are always so nice, welcoming and helpful. I also love the quality of the jewellery and the fact that if I buy presents for my family overseas and something goes wrong they are able to take to their local shop. On my last visit Arifa helped me purchase both my bridesmaids gifts as well as the necklace and earrings I'll wear on my wedding. They didn't have one of the items in stock but she organised it to be delivered to the store within a week. Just overall amazing service and products.

Well I purchased my wife’s wedding ring from their Loganholme store (not a cheap ring either). The service was fine but took the ring back yesterday as a diamond has fallen out and needs to be replaced. We got told that the warranty was no good as we didn’t take the ring back every 6 months to get checked.
When we purchased the ring the form that came with the warranty was with the authenticity certificate (for insurance purposes) and not once did we get informed that we would need to bring the ring back in. OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE.

I purchased a diamond wedding ring back in 2019 because Michael Hill offered Diamond lifetime warranty. After purchase, I found out it is deceptive as it requires you to go to store and do the service every 6 months in order to maintain the warranty. I passed the 6 month timeframe as it was Covid. After lockdown, I went to local store to do the service on Dec 2021 which was after lockdown. The salesman told me that they couldn't do the service as it was over 6 months and they needed a manager confirmation in order to do the service. I told them...

I came to the store two times after coming back to Australia which was after April, they gave me the manager is not here story again and told me to come back later. After wasting so much of my time, they are saying sorry that they can’t reinstate my warranty as I broke the policy. So if you want to buy diamonds from them because they offer the so called “lifetime warranty”, good luck with that, because as soon as you passed the 6 months period, they will cancel your warranty! Poor quality in the band that it snaps all the time and needs to be sent off all the time to be fixed. The wedding ring was fixed by thinking the band and I am happy with that but I was told my engagement ring could not be thinked and its just a matter of time before it would break again and I should just keep bringing it back every time it breaks how is that a solution to the problem. Why make engagement rings that are such poor quality I can't even wear it now I'm suck with a ring I can't wear because I could lose it if it breaks.
