Customer service sucked – I e-mailed customer service and rang them multiple times, and they kept transferring me to other department because the vacuum floorhead that came with my c3 was faulty on day 1. The footswitch doesn't lock in place and I couldn't switch to hardfloors/carpeted floors. Really annoying customer service. Update: After my past review, Miele has… Read more

contacted me and resolve the issue. Just a bit annoyed that I have to do it here to get their attention and have the proper people handle my concerns. Overall, they sent a new floorhead and free vacuum bags for the inconvenience caused. Hence, only 3 stars.

Most powerful vaccum – Absolutely amazing vaccum, very easy to use & quite compact especially for the power this has. Brought extra foot attachment & I can’t fault it. Well worth the money. Only con is , the cord often gets stuck under the vaccum and can be a bit difficult to move around when this happens Show details

Client Has One – I work as a domestic cleaner and a client has recently purchased this vacuum cleaner. I have used if for 2 months now and it is very good. I have a 10 year old Miele and the design hasn't changed much. They are heavy but this gives them a solid feeling. Quiet, great suction, does a very good job of cleaning. I could see the difference in their carpet after using it (their old vacuum was a bagless Electrolux). Nothing fancy but a solid performer. Show details ·  1

Sucks - not in a good way – Bag broke, dust though motor, no protection to stop this design fault. Service agent declined fix under warranty, saying it was user issue. It was a Miele bag, not copy. This appears to be a common problem with this vac, with a number of youtube videos on how to fix/replace motor. So a $600 vac, lasted only 3 mths, works out at $200 a mth, $50 a vac - cheaper to hire someone to vac house. Show details

Great vacuum – I have tile and carpet in my home and I can say the vacuum cleaner sufficiently cleans both surfaces. It’s a heavy based vacuum which allows it to stay sturdy on the floor and not tip over at any time. The suction is amazing, although when vacuuming my tiles, the head squeaks on the floor which is noisy and not nice to listen too. Show details

You cannot go wrong with this vacuum cleaner – I had a Miele vacuum cleaner that last for years and years. When it broken, I decided to go with the fad/trend of Dyson bag less fancy talk. What a mistake ! Dyson can only be used on full power for 5-10 minutes ? what that ? Every time you empty the barrel you breath in dust and its a mess... I gave it away and decided to go back to Miele... What… Read more

a non brainer this vacuum cleaner is. Powerful, amazing suction, no need to exchange or buy several batteries, you can use as long as you need and not be timing and looking at the battery indicator. It cleans extremely well carpets, hard floors, rugs, curtains, you name it. It is worth it every cent! I would recommend to buy the C3. It has more power, a great long cord, flexible new designed hose, plenty of attachments, and the new bags are large 4.5l , efficient and you can vacuum a large 3 bed 2-3x with no need to change bags. No dust mess anymore, the new bags seal are extremely well designed. It's a non brainer.... no wonder you never ever see these vacuum cleaners on big specials like Black Friday or Xmas like you see Dyson everywhere.... Dyson nevermore....

Miele is the best vacuum cleaner I have owned. Recommended.

Finally one that does the job – Omg. Finally, a vac that works. I made the biggest mistake of being talked into a Hoover Regal bagless, which did not work at all, from Godfreys for $1000. Did not pick anything up. My brother suggested this. We live near the beach, with a golden retriever, so lots of fur and sand, and carpet, hardwood, and tile, and it works like a dream. Can’t recommend this highly enough. Show details

Good vaccum but died after 4 years – We were really happy about our vaccum so far and felt it was worth the money spent but it then died after only 4 years so now we will have to buy a new one as the warranty is over.... I thought going for a reputable brand will allow us to have a long lasting machine but I guess you can't find this anymore now. My mum had her Miele for 20years + but it was built in the 80's... Show details

Favourite – I am a house keeper and have tried alot of different vacuums. This is by far my favourite, I had to buy one. The suction is incredible!! I don't like Dyson vacuums, I think they are over rated. They flick the dirt alot so you have to go over and over multiple times. Show details

Very strong suction – It is very powerful and quiet, easy to change the filters which keep the dust and allergies. Very happy with it still going strong after two years, easy to move around. Miele is best. Show details

Miele Complete C3 Disappointment – Our C3 Family All Rounder Vacuum Cleaner was great... when it worked. It had excellent suction and a good variety of attachments to get into all the nooks and crannies. I purchased from MYER in December 2017. For about a 2 week period, starting 1 month ago, the motor had been intermittently cutting out, seemingly when it overheated (it felt hot… Read more

to the touch). Now, six months past the 2 year warranty period, the motor has just cut out permanently, and it won't even turn on.

I always believed that Meile was a premium product, with a price point to match. Now I feel like I would have been better off purchasing multiple $29 Kmart vacuum cleaners, and I'd probably have some change to spare too.

Disappointed.

Highly recommended – I can say it’s the best vacuum I have ever owned! It’s reliable, long lasting, the cord length is long so it doesn’t require multiple outlet swaps, the suction of the vacuum is awesome, the handle on the hose is adjustable, lightweight, quiet, easy to use and neat design. Show details

Awesome Vacuum cleaner – Having used many vacuum cleaners over the years, this one takes the prize. Very easy to pull around, has a long cord, works well on both carpet and hard surfaces. Doesn't miss a single crumb, and bags seem to last quite some time. Has various suction options, I never need it on full power. Couldn't fault this little beauty. Show details

Great little vacuum – I have had my Miele for 6 yrs now and its a great little vacuum, I have a little dog in the house and she sheds quite a bit so my vacuum gets daily use. Ive had no problems with it and its easy to clean the filter I even got a second one so I can wash one and have another to put in straight away. Great little vacuum I would recommend one to my friends. Show details ·  1

Tube for head faulty from new – The mechanism on the extension tube was faulty from new so the tube would collapse when pushed making the vacuum useless. Contacted Miele who told me to take it distributor which I did. Was assessed as faulty and distributor contacted Miele. Miele then told me to take to a third-party service center, none of which were anywhere near where I lived.… Read more

If the service center assessed as faulty it would then be repaired and I then may need to pick it up. I was not happy with this as I expected Miele to take responsibility for managing repair/replacement without inconvenience in time or money to me particularly as I had followed their first instruction of taking it back to the distributor. But they refused to take responsibility despite speaking to different customer service representatives. All this for a $80 part. Based on this experience I will NEVER purchase another Miele product as they do not stand their product. They even had the audacity to send me customer satisfaction surveys following my contact with them. Very poor.

Great suction, shame about the build quality – After our cheapo vacuum cleaner died, we decided to spend a little more and get something that would clean better, but also last longer. So after a lot of research, we chose the Miele Complete C3 Family All-Rounder Vacuum Cleaner, and ordered it online. First time we used it, the cleaning was great - really good suction on our hardwood floors… Read more

and rugs. However, after less than 20 minutes of light use, the cleaning head cracked and now doesn't connect properly to the suction hose...

Other than that, my first impressions were good. Good long power cord, cleaner's not too heavy. It's quiet considering how powerful it is, and the range of power options are great for different surfaces. Whether the purchase was a wise one will depend on how the replacement of that head goes I guess, and whether it was just a freak bad piece, or if it points to a lack of build quality.

Faulty design: Not moves on carpets and rugs – I was unable to push it on our carperts and rugs. Awful design. The plastic brim of the suction head generate a very high friction. A 50 dollar design is thought through better. Don’t waste your money. Still struggling to refund it from Harvey Norman. They claim it’s not faulty but I simply can’t use it. Show details

All rounder – After owning a Miele vacuum cleaner previously and getting good results and working life we decided to get another Miele. The all rounder is a good vacuum cleaner with excellent suction. Good on hard surfaces and carpet. The only issue I have is that our previous Miele had auto shut off when one parked the vacuum hose on the body of the cleaner.… Read more ·  1

Very handy. I had assumed, perhaps wrongly that this feature would have been a carry over to our recent purchase given the design of the vacuum cleaner has not changed greatly over time however to my surprise it isn't and one has to physically turn the power off.

This product is really good – I bought this product as a more reliable alternative to my Dyson absolute vacuum. My wife was unhappy about how the Dyson runs out of charge and her vacuum cleaning goes half done every time the device runs out of juice. This product is high quality made and highly recommended. No issues so far and absolutely loved by the Mrs.  Show details ·  1

Very disappointed – I had heard great reports of the miele vacuum cleaners and loved the style, colour and general look However, despite being very strong physically, both my husband and I found it impossible to push unless I had it on the setting for cleaning the curtains! And then of course it did not vacuum as it should. I rang Miele helpline and a very charming… Read more

young man by the name of [name removed] suggested the actual head part might be faulty and to return it to the store I purchased it from for replacement. The salesman - a young fit looking man tried the vacuum cleaner in the store and he could only push it with great exertion. However the salesman said it was simply extraordinarily good suction, and a replacement would be exactly the same. So it was with great reluctance I accepted a refund. I am so disappointed.

Hardly a pushover – A beautiful machine at first glance and would be perfect if all your floors were tiles or wood, however you cannot push it on carpet as the suction is so strong . Excellent vac so far! – This was bought to replace the sauber intelligence. Very happy so far. Nothing would escape that suction! We opted for a bagged vac as we have a dyson stick vac also and however careful you may be, dust does escape when its emptied. The bag contains ALL of what is vacced up. Be nice if the bags were cheaper. There is no rotating motorised head with this model by our own choosing. I find with the stick vac, the spinning head can flick away what you were intending to vac up. Nothing beats good suction. So far very pleased, but it is still very new.
