Best vacuum cleaner ever owned. WOW so much suction power – It's red so it looks good. Has bags but takes forever to fill them and we have 3 cats in the house. Different tool attachments useful for difficult areas. Lightweight and maneuvers easily around on any surface. OMG the suction power on full it almost sucks up your carpets from the floor. Optional suction power so you can choose the right suction power for the surface you are vacuuming.

Replacement bags are inexpensive.

If you buy any other vac and not this one you will be disappointed.

Do Not Buy – This is vaccum that I wished my daughter had never purchased as a gift to me. You need to be physically fit as it is extremely hard work to vacuum with. The bags are ridiculously expensive and fill up fast if you have pet hair. You need to put an extension lead onto cord as it does not extend very far. I have always enjoyed vacuuming until i received this vacuum. we have had several problems with ours and it was definitely not worth the $700 that was paid to at Godfreys. I would strongly urge people to try it out 1st and consider the expense of the continuous bags having to be purchased. It works well on carpet but not on tiles. The warranty is not long enough for such an expensive product.

Never again will I purchase a Miele.

Excellent cleaner – An excellent vac. We also have a latest model Dyson and, while also good on carpet, doesnt work as well as the Miele on tiles. Only ongoing cost is of course bags - but they can be purchased on-line for less than in shops (in delivery). No smell from the Miele whereas the Dyson has an odour after 3 months use with new/washed filters (and we have replaced and / or washed the filters on the Dyson as recommended intervals). Miele just now need to do a handheld that can compete with the Dyson animal. Litmus test - when I go to the cupboard I will always grab the Miele over the Dyson - despite knowing it will cost me in bags for doing so.

Amazing! – Have cream berber carpet which is difficult to clean with loop pile and even worse when you have long haired dogs - border collie! Previously had a bagless Volta, dog hair would get stuck in barrel, had to empty it 3 times for the lounge area and still dog hair everywhere. Next day bought the Miele with the power head and WOW, I got a complete bag full of hair, dust and other bits the Volta wouldn't pick up. It was also brilliant lifting the carpet pile back up, especially where the lounges and chairs legs sit. My friend has Miele S5261 cat and dog but this Miele is by far superior with the power head, not 1 dog hair left! Took a few minutes to work out the you need to glide the power head rather than push down in straight lines, it became so light and easy to vacuum. Everything - power head, different settings - quiet mode, curtain mode, rug mode, furniture mode, suction is so powerful brings the carpet back to new

Brilliant – I bought this to replace our noisy, inefficient Dyson DC23. It's awesome. You can adjust the power level so I can quietly vacuum without waking the kids. We got the power head which is really quiet in comparison to the dyson. It also has much better suction. I like that the tools are stored inside. A box of bags is $20 and lasts about 6 months and the filters last about 3 years so it's not expensive to run. the quality is excellent and it's light to pull around. The only con is that there is a remote for the power head in the handle and it makes the handle a bit heavy. Efficient, light, quiet Heavy handle
