The service used to be good. But of late the times have gotten longer and longer. Now with my latest order, the driver picked up the order. - I live about 6 mins from the store - 30 mins I was still waiting, so I checked the tracking. I live near Mirrabooka, he was in Osborne Park. By the time my delivery finally came, the ice cream I ordered was… Read more

liquid. I understand the need for drivers to make money, but taking multiple orders from other businesses and neglecting orders they already take is not a good look. Very disappointed. Now the run around to get a refund.

The delivery is almost 2hrs but when i place my order it says 20mins but 4-5 different drivers kept changing. Very expensive but the service was not good. So many items missing. Not happy at all!

I will say from the outset that I have not actually had a Milkrun order ... and at the very highly inflated prices,I would never use them! People need to compare the Milkrun prices to the actual online ordering prices on Woolies website/app! Horrendous! It's the same, or maybe even cheaper to order online and pay delivery fee, or even take… Read more

taxi!! Cat treats on special For $3.50 instore, $4.95 on Milkrun! (They are reg $5 instore!) Caramel slice $8 instore, $8.80 Milkrun. Orders Over $25 is a $5 delivery fee, but under $35, is a $1.99 fee, even on "free delivery" new account fees, plus the horrible overpriced items. My order on Milkrun came to $35, instore it would have cost me $22!! I wondered at first how they could do the service as advertised as it seemed too cheap! Exemplification of "if it's too good to be true, it probably is"! Order online or take taxi!

Once again, gave a chance to get it right and I am absolutely disgusted with Woolies Point Cook Town Centre. AFL grand final and order some item along with a roast chicken to have it delivered (not the driver as I was safely on his seat in the paper bag) my chicken was a mangled mess.

Complaint: Friday 20th March 2026. Order invoice 26AIRS6FGBJE. Time: 9:04pm. MILKRUN delivery from Woolworths supermarket: 445 Tapleys Hill Rd, Fulham Gardens SA 5024. Tonight was the last straw! More than once I have had issues and I'm over it to be honest. Staff at this particular store are not being properly trained about taking proper… Read more

food handling procedures to prevent possible cross contamination & how to go about correctly packing!

Several times now, I have had issues regarding the people who are employed for picking the fruit and vegetables as well as the people packing the items. Each issue, I have called customer service, explained the issues, and requested the issues be escalated and measures taken to properly train staff to prevent the same situation repeating when I get my groceries delivered.

Tonight's episode is proof that management at Fulham Woolworths is not taking this matter seriously and taking steps to prevent the same problems occurring.

The issues to date: Packing loose fresh fruit and vegetables with no vegetable/fruit bags, and then packing these into the same paper bag as fresh raw chicken, raw meats! It's a careless attitude and easily avoided! As an example of tonight's delivery, I recieved one paper bag with teabags, aluminium foil, plastic containers, tin of tuna, bottle of mayonnaise etc, and the staff could have easily placed that loose fresh fruit and veg into this bag instead of the bag with the raw chicken package. Now, it sounds like simple thing to do right? So why do the staff at this particular supermarket keep consistently putting fresh produce with raw packaged meats? Did management take any of the feedback onboard from my previous multiple complaints and take steps to remedy the situations? Obviously not. If they had, this wouldn't be an ongoing issue would it?

Also from same store they previously packaged HOT roast chicken with the bag not sealed or checked, into the same paper bag as CHILLED RAW Meats! Hello?? Hot food with refrigerated food? And the chicken water from the bag and juice was all over everything! It was an absolute mess. And obviously none was edible because unsafe to consume.

Someone higher up needs to pull their finger out and do their job and stop this from happening! Where's accountability??

I'm 60 years old and when I was a teenager I worked in a supermarket and we were properly trained on what items were permitted to be packed together and what items were not to be packed together! Eg: pantry items did not get packed into same bag as frozen or refrigerator items etc. But frozen and refrigerator items were ok to be packed together. Not difficult to remember if you are trained thoroughly!

Coles and Drakes supermarkets have always packed loose fruit and vegetables into those proper fruit/veg compost bags. Neither store has ever packed hot foods with cold foods, and in fact Coles put their hot roast chicken etc into a seperate paper bag, and they have never packed fresh fruit and veg into the same bag as raw meats either.

What does this say about Woolworths? And apparently I'm told, Australia wide Woolworths customer service desk receive complaints from customers not getting their loose fresh fruit and vegetables in the fruit/veg compostable bags. Why? Who is in charge of the standards of staff training? They're not doing a very good job! A thorough investigation into store staff and training should be addressed asap. Woolworths have lost a customer.

I will shop with Coles and Drakes and avoid Woolworths altogether now.

See photos: One group of photos from one delivery was taken with the hot chicken on top of the raw meats, plus two milks seperate in ambient only bags instead of together with the cold meat.

> See photos from each delivery I made complaints about. More than once was hot cooked chicken on top of raw meats. And a couple of times loose fruit and veg thrown in with packaged raw meats, without the fruit veg bags for added protection. One delivery the packer just threw the stickers for the bags (ambient, chilled) into a bag and didn't place onto the bags. Same delivery that was the open hot chicken bag which spilled everywhere inside.

Whilst the actual Woolworths store is the problem in my review of 3 star rating overall, the customer service teams and staff are really appreciated and they do an excellent job handling complaints and I don't have a bad word to say for the customer service reps. The app itself needs improvements too. Its listings of items needs more attention. As it goes to a long list and images are small and the design isn't good.

Unavailable items are up to date too often so I order certain products for a dinner to cook that night and end up with only half the items and unable to cook that meal. Bread rolls etc are only available until a certain time. Same with hot chickens. That's annoying.

The fact they use DoorDash delivery is also a problem sometimes with incompetent delivery drivers.

MILKRUN is a very convenient app and I used them often in the past. I’ve had to stop because any perishable items were consistently so close to use by date it was not acceptable. Like a 2L milk that ran out of date the next day, chicken and steak that had 2 days left. I felt strongly that this was a way for Woolworths to get rid of old stock.

The prices are a joke on here they say 50% off. Your paying full prices if they say that. 70$ for OMO!. On the woolworths app it's the same full price as half price item on milkrun.ive stopped buying from them.

From the moment the bags were dropped at my door there were problems. The uber driver told me that one of the bags were broken. As I carried the second paper bag to the kitchen that one broke as well with all my fruit and veggies flying all over the floor (obviously overfilled bags). The small order was missing 1kg pears. I complained and all they… Read more

did was refund the $3 for pears. Later I noticed that the bottle milk ($4.50)’s expiry date was literally 2 days after I had the order delivered!!! Usually there’s 2 weeks or more before the BB date. I reached out to the agent who took a long time, was barely apologetic and offered a $5 voucher as an apology. I am not impressed and will not be using this service and will be telling everyone I know to avoid. Thanks for wasting my time MILKRUN

Not very good. I’m like many people who have a disability and sometimes need help with groceries. Each time I have used this service, many items don’t arrive or are replaced with something completely useless. I then have to wait several days to go a refund and try and get help from someone to get the items that I really needed that didn’t arrive. I would not recommend using this service.

skewed angle. Called “customer support” and was told that the driver would be given feedback. Useless when every driver is different and despite having complained each time this has happened, feedback is obviously not working since it continues to happen. Was offered a $10 voucher to go towards a future order which is useless since I will no linger be using this service. Customer service rep was also rude and was not interested in helping me at all.

read the dam instructions!!! I saw that he was at the wrong entrance and tried to call him FIVE times and got hung up on!!! I was standing in 40 degree heat in bare feet looking for this tosser. When I questioned him as to why he didn’t READ the very CLEAR instructions he became angry and refused to give me my order. I had to prize it from his hands and ended up with burnt feet from hot concrete and feeling scare, stressed and angry!!! I am sick to death of drivers not reading instructions and the constant stress because of this. I am a pensioner with social anxiety and this is why I order online!!! Today I was not only subjected to abusive behaviour but a terrible headache and burnt feet. I was in tears!!! I have reported this POS and I hope no one else ever has to go through what I did today!!!!

Follow-up  · I ended up closing my account with MILKRUN. Too many issues with drivers not reading instructions so they know how to get to my unit!! Had enough!!

change my delivery address. I can't because the current address is where I live. Nothing was done about the delivery driver driving away with free groceries. I also can't use milkrun because my address doesn't show at their end despite showing correctly at my end. They just keep telling me to change my address. My address is correct and it's where I live. I am also told that the address in the notes is useless. The delivery driver doesn't read the notes. It seems that there is no reason to leave notes. I live in Suburbia only minutes from Woolworth. I now can't use the app and so can't get my reward points. I have to use Coles and Uber eats. It's easier to blame the customer then fix the address at their end where it is missing. It's also easier not to read delivery notes. I was refunded but now can't use their app despite the fact that the problem is at their end.

Follow-up  · My follow up is that it took months to fix the address problem.

I’ve used milk run now for over a year and they have always done a great job on my order, they are a bit pricey though with an add 50 to $1 on top of the normal price with is a turn off , even on woollies specials, they only use our local Woolworths .

I made a Milk Run purchase on the 25th March 2026. The order was driven around Sydney CBD for almost an hour before being abruptly cancelled. I then phoned Milk Run as there was no other way to resolve the issue, and was told I would have to re-place the order, however my original $95 wouldn't be refunded for 3 business days, therefore requiring… Read more

me to spend another $95. This left me quite frustrated and I was insistent that the money be refunded immediately. After an absolutely futile back and forth with a callcentre agent who just kept reading from a script, they finally agreed to send me a $95 voucher code AND refund the $95 in 3 business days. After 6 business days I still hadn't received the refund, so I rang back and spent another 15 minutes on the phone with an offshore callcentre agent who insisted the voucher was actually offered INSTEAD of a refund, which I can categorically confirm was not the agreement, and they should listen to the original call to confirm. Eventually I was offered 2 options - keep the voucher with no refund, or cancel the voucher and receive a refund (in 3 business days of course!). The entire experience was an exercise in pure frustration on my part and complete incompetency on theirs. I can confirm beyond any shadow of a doubt that I will never ever use Milk Run ever again, and will highly advise against anyone else of doing the same, nor will I ever shop at Woolworths. The lack of customer service or concern after having charged me for an order and provided nothing in return is shameful to the least. One star, and I would rate lower if I had the option.

$251.92 on the same day and I've just been sitting here scratching my head and pouring through my bank account transactions like a numpty, trying to figure out why on earth my budget sheet was so out of balance.

I see absolutely no logic in this model. What if someone only had enough in their account to cover the first amount after calculating the adjustment? Do they just go "nup sorry, we can't deliver the items you already paid for because we can't charge you a second time"??? What an absolute farce.
