in the fridge were starting to look soft like a wrinkled old woman. So I consulted the manual and found two solutions: 1) keep things in the bag for freshness (a bit disappointing because this is what you do when you've got a $500 fridge, not a $4000 one), 2) there is a setting for leafy greens which adds more moisture to veggie crisper. The combination of the two did the trick and my veggies and I are happy now. My previous fridge kept food for a long time in the main compartment, so I haven't noticed any spectacular improvements with this one. It does a very good job, as it should for the price. We make good use of the soft freeze drawer, very handy indeed. The males in the family are smitten with the automatic ice maker. For some time after the purchase when hearing the soft sound of ice dropping into the drawer, my husband would call out from the kitchen: "Darling, your fridge did a poop again!" It is VERY quiet. And it is the best looking fridge I owned so far. I haven't had visitors commenting on my fridge before. I took some shelves out from the main compartment to fit in large pots, casseroles and pans. It seems to be designed for the people who eat a lot of prepackaged food in flat little packs. I guess if it didn't come with enough shelving, some people would complain about that. The only con is that you have to open both main doors to access the two drawers in the bottom of the main compartment. As a result of that minor annoyance, those drawers are not being used much and cheese, butter and sour cream just end up being dumped back onto the shelf by the impatient individuals in our family, rather that in the drawer where they belong. I am still giving it an "excellent" rating for internal layout because the soft freeze, freezer and veggie drawers kill the competition!!

look of the fridge when they visit. It actually looks almost integrated. Great choice. It's super quiet, which is important in open plan living space. You cant go wrong buying mitsubishi - we have their spit systems too.
