I would like to give this a 0 rating if possible. I am sweltering in the heat of Melbourne and the cooling option does not work at all! Reading all the online manuals suggest I need to set the mode to "snowflake" that I don't even get on my remote. The company that sold this product to me a couple of years ago have not been customer friendly from the day they sold the unit.. Brand new AP series A/C suffers from odour problem. After several weeks of regular use it still stinks of a musty solvent or lubricant smell which causes long headaches, neck pain, and increased pulse. probably due to factory coatings applied to the heat exchange coils, which should dissolve after a few days use. But not this unit, which has done nothing to uphold the reputation of Mitsubishi, as far as odour ethics are concerned. Not happy Jan!
I've installed two of these units Aliance Climate Control company about a year ago. I am really happy with this Mitsubishi aircon. Cools the room really well, energy effecient, lots of different settings and most importantly it's very quiet. So quiet that I sometimes forget to turn it off in the morning. Just outstanding – We bought and had installed two of these units into two of the bedrooms in December of 2022. Both units have been great. Recently we also had solar and battery put in and as a result I have come to appreciate these units so much more. price of electricity, I noticed when my wife was sleeping and put the system into "Night/Silent"mode the consumption dropped off a cliff. We find that the air conditioners can stay on for as long as we like as they seem to use less than 900w in this mode and while the rooms cool quickly it's not instant. We turn on the ceiling fans which also are very frugal and the bedrooms have stayed incredibly comfortable this entire summer season. My electricity bill was less than $20 for the month!!
The system is a great one and can cool very quickly in the normal modes but it just shines in silent mode- Low cost and very very quiet. We are a year into ownership and it is just works exactly as billed.

Extremely happy with the 25kit Mitsubishi air con as it heats my bedroom as it should . I can set it to quiet fan mode or higher if necessary..Controls easy to manage, have remote attached to bedside table and once I decide fan speed and direction I only have to press on/off button and temperature. In the Western Australian climate we will use the heating function rarely if at all. We put the 2 units in the office to take advantage of the lower prices and quicker installation. and then it took 4 days and multiple calls to Mitsubishi Electric to get the claim validated. We still have not received the e-card rebate. The effort required to obtain the rebate was far more than the value of the rebate. To me, this verges on false advreising.
We had 3 of these installed in our house and have had lots of issues with the noise that comes from this model. There is loud clicking when you have it on low mode and sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn’t. The levers for moving the air around the room are so loud and annoying. one direction only. If i had of know this before buy, This alone would have stopped me from purchasing them. On the plus side it’s efficient and the wifi control is great.
