Being a HVAC installer for 20yrs Mitsubishi Electric have been the best performer I have installed.I have installed around 1000 units.In 20yrs I have never had a warranty claim in the 5 yrs. I install split ,split ducted.ceiling cassettes,under ceiling and commercial.Every unit I have installed has exceeded my expectations. Show details

Super quiet when running and heats the space to perfection. Have yet to try the air conditioner but given our past system in previous home was excellent, we are sure Mitsubishi system will not disappoint.
We now have three Mitsubishi Air-con units in our home. Amazing product, quiet, efficient and very easy to clean. This one replaced a 15 year old Fujitsu, which was okay, but hard to clean and very noisy, despite being a smaller unit. I would always recommend Mitsubishi Air Conditioners, even the installer was raving about how easy they were to install and how powerful they are. Show details
Excellent air conditioner. 7.1 kw comfortably cools the lounge room plus the adjoining kitchen/dining rooms. It also drifts into the bedrooms so that this one alone is sufficient by itself. Show details
My Mitsubishi Air Conditioner is so quiet, I hardly know it’s switched on! The remote is easy to use. Cool or warm air, auto time switch off, all easy to do! 5 degrees last night but snug and warm in quiet comfort. Show details
The aircon is fine, but ME service during their cashback promotion was terrible. Despite providing all relevant information, they demanded photos of the outdoor unit after it was installed - on top of a roof which was impossible to access! According to the local supply and installation company, ME have been very pedantic about these cashback… Read more
claims and have refused many claims on minor technical issues, so they are obviously working hard to deny as many claims as possible. It’s not good customer service if all they do is quote “terms and conditions” to you instead of trying to help resolve the claim.
have only used the heating as it has been too cold to use cooling. Coping well with extended usage and goes into another room if door open. Very happy with the two units we purchased & easy to change settings. Show details
The unit is very effective and very quiet. I like the idea that I am saving money on my winter heating. The only downside is the condensation from the outside unit which is escaping onto my concrete pergola floor. I don't quite know to solve that little problem. Show details
Loved winter with Mitsubishi 7.1 Air Conditioner – Have had the air conditioner 2 months and have found it to very efficient…..we leave all internal doors opened in the house and it warms all rooms… we run it all day for efficiency at 19 degrees….at night before going to bed we run it less as it gets too hot for comfortable sleeping…..very happy with our winter season hoping to also for summer… Show details
Excelent – Very pleased with the new air-con. Its very quite unit , inside and outside. Seems to work very well but yet to be tested in extreme heat weather. The only downside I had was claiming the cash back offer as it was very difficult. But otherwise I'm very happy with the unit Show details

Happy to have finally bitten the bullet – The purchase of this unit was through Crane Airconditioning, the Company was professional from start to finish including quoting, supply & installation of our unit. Our experience so far, being Winter, has only been the heating side and we have found the product to be easy to use and efficient. Early days – Unit was professionally installed as yet and not having Aircon before the weather has not yet reached a temperature that we would need it, so I cannot speak on its heating or cooling capability as yet. SO HAPPY – We purchased this property in March. After having an old gas heater (and then we ran out of bottle gas) we really experienced the cold. In addition the current system in the house was only Air Condtioning ( and with rusted parts and rusted remote) We visited Betta Home Living in Minlaton and got the best advice and service. was installed while we were not home, so when we arrived and turned it on, we were so excited. The system was so quiet and heated the living area perfectly and even warmed up the bedrooms. We could not be happier! Thank you so much everyone. PS the instruction booklet is easy to follow, and yes I read it.
Game changer – This machine is so quiet even when turning on and off to regulate heat! The warm air travels to all areas without feeling that "blowing" sensation which the last one had. Have more sense of warmth on 17 degrees with this than the last when on 24! The ability to have dual directional venting is great and the remote is picked up without needing to be pointed. My only negative is that it looks boxy and large. Show details

Broken longer than it's worked – Had a unit installed into our kitchen/dining early in the summer. Performance was OK, I don't have an objective comparison but versus the 7kw in our dining room it does not seem to cool as well or reach as far - even after removing a wall to clear an obstruction to the cool air it's only barely handling things on hot days. after install it broke. And has now been longer waiting for parts and repairs than it was in use. First a broken power board, three weeks to diagnose and source parts, now a broken compressor and still no ETA for that. It's hard to know what is parts scarcity or vendor delay but it does seem to take 10 days minimum for parts to get here.
Summer in QLD is peak season for installers and repair techs and maybe this vendor is just very busy, but this is pretty shabby. We paid a premium for the unit based on reputation for the manufacturer and it hasn't worked out like that.
I'm going to see if after repairs it works better, and I'll reflect that here, but not looking great so far and at this rate it might be another year until we need to use it having lost most of summer to the breakdown.
SIX MONTH Update as promised - The system is going a far better job of heating then it did cooling. I have increased the build quality to reflect the performance post-repairs and i'm pretty happy. This is not the most efficient or powerful unit we own, but it is doing the job well enough. It is somewhat unfair to punish the product for the installer/repairers performance but they are a licensed supplier and supply chain compounded the issue here, on top of what was effectively a manufacturing default.
