Which is colder M, MH, ML, L or H. My freezer is set on M and freezes to hard with frozen goods forming crystals I would like it not to freeze so hard. Manual is not clear on this. Does H freeze harder or softer.
Thank you - Wendy Paterson Email: robertpaterson@outlook.co.nz
Hi Wendy, For the freezer: M is about -22 to -16 deg C L is 2-3 degrees warmer than M LM is 1-2 degrees warmer than M MH is 1-2degrees colder than M H is 2-3 degrees colder than M So in your case, try LM first. If it is still cold for your use try L.
Hope that helps.

My husband cleaned the ice maker and now it goes t work. Any suggestions?
Hi Ugler, Thank you for the question, here are a couple of quick checks below: 1/ Check that all ice-making parts are correctly installed Refer to the attached user manual pages 26-27. external link 2/ Press “Ice Select” button on the control panel and select “REG” or “QCK”.
If ice-making still does not work, you would need to contact our customer care team. Thanks, Mitsubishi Electric
My ice maker part of the fridge does not work anymore , what to do?
Can I get this model in s/steel? What is the difference between this model & the MR E62SNA? Does it come in s/steel?
Hi,
The MR-E62S has been discontinued and replaced by the MR-EX562W-N-A and MR-EX655W-N-A. Both models come in stainless steel only.
Kind regards,
Mitsubishi Electric Australia Support
I don't have a answer to both your questions. I would suggest the last model you mentioned maybe a later model. I suggest you contact Mitsubishi direct. To let you know, you will not be disappointed with this fridge. I have had it for almost 2 years and are still impressed with the features, huge internal space for everything and looks fantastic. Without hesitation I would purchase another one above the other top brands.
I am interested in purchasing a Mitsubishi MR-E62S (562 litre) fridge but after extensive searching cannot find any stockists in Melbourne. I would like to look at one on display before buying. Your website says that E&S Trading are stockists but they don't seem to have any at the moment. Can you advise where I can see one on display please?
You probably want to ask Mitsubishi that question... I have no idea :-(
I also suggest contacting Mitsubishi direct to see what stores have had a delivery of that model. Good luck.
Thanks guys. I posted here as I know Mitsubishi monitors these pages but it's all good as I've called them directly and discovered this model is no longer available. It's now the Mitsubishi MR-EX562 which explains why I was having some trouble finding stockists. They have now pointed me in the right direction so problem solved!
Hi, for the past week we've found the ice is sticking to the ice tray mat, forming a big clump rather than individual ice cubes, just below where it drops from. It's also making ice cubes though around the rest of the compartment. We bought the fridge 11 months ago from Harvey Norman. Please let me know if this has happened to anyone before and, if so, how we can fix it?! Thanks heaps.
We had the same problem. We made sure that we closed the ice drawer straight away after scooping ice. When we put ice into a drink we then opened the ice drawer and put the scoop back. We believe allowing too much air into the drawer, can make the ice stick together. We also regularly move the ice blocks around. Hope this helps.
Thanks Marilyn:)
We solved the problem by removing the ice-cube tray and rinsing it. No more ice clumps since then.
I am thinking of purchasing the Mitsubishi MR-EX562W as the EX655 is to tall for my kitchen compartment.
However my only concern is I can't find this fridge in a normal electro-appliances store, when I look online the only stores I could find were "2nd world" in Sydney and Electric Discount nation wide.
This stores sell usually second hand fridges or fridges that are consider by the manufacture as seconds.
So I am concern with this. Why they don't sell these type of fridge in a normal store if it is so good.?
I bought my fridge from Stock Appliances in Brisbane. I've had mine for quite a while now and still very happy with it.
Try E. & S. Trading
Ask 2nds world to get you a brand new which they can.
We bought ours from external link (aka Betta) in Kingsford. Good price, good service and delivered within a few days.
Stocks Appliances in Brisbane sell this fridge. Try Ashgrove.
You can purchase the MREX-562 at Bing Lee
I am looking art the EX 655. But was concerned about the veg drawer and am more concerned now. Thought it was supposed to extend shelf life, not reduce?
I can categorically say that veg seems to last longer in the veg draw. We were sceptical at first, but veg does seem to last longer in there than in a normal fridge. We're still not 100% certain the price-tag is worth it for the build quality of the fridge however (Ice maker drawer scrapes on closing & the ice maker catch - that you unfasten to take out the tray for cleaning - we have had to hold up with sticky tape as it drops down all the time! Not what you would expect from a premium priced fridge).
Thanks. Yes it did seem rather flimsy. I am doing a renovation and had planned to get a Liebherr which is even more expensive. A bit outrageous I know . However, when I start looking at the features, it seems that they are distributed widely, ie no single model has all the interesting features and it has a very big footprint, ie a lot of fridge for not that much net volume for storing food.. Since it has a big impact on the kitchen, which is small enough, I have hesitated and came across the Ex655 which seems to be really well designed and styled, if somewhat flimsier. I was worried about the veggies though, Liebherr ( and some others) claim extensively longer shelf lives in drawers where they keep the veggies much colder than in the Mitsubishi drawer and I cant get any claims on what the EX655 drawer does. Got worried by some of the reviews on tomatoes :-)!
I believe that my vegetables last longer if they are in a bag. I love the fact that I can put a large celery and bunch of kale in the front of the veggie drawer.
i saw this fridge today and really liked it. i am concerned about some reviews stating veggie draw does not store fruit/veggie for long when compared to other brands and that people rang up Mitsubishi to be told to reset back to factory settings but still were not happy with veggie storage life. can someone please shed some light if this is really an issue or just a matter of temperature adjustment and the fact some people will complain no matter what?
Hi Eleanora Yes it is certainly a awesome presenting piece of technology and all in all we have been generally happy with the unit - however my comments/experience regarding the vege drawer are stark in contrast with the rest of the unit's functions. As I have said in a later comment the vege drawer has settled - but I had to experiment with control settings, place many veges in individual small sealed containers and this seems in contrast to the hype the unit presents about the vege drawer.
Further, when I tried ring Mitsuibishi for help - promises from smoothe talking people eventuated to nil - or comments such as "you may have to send it back to the manufacturer" - sure and what do I do in the meantime for refrigeration - or "a technician may have to come out and check the unit for you" - these sorts of comments from smoothe talking telephone girls probably with little or no knowledge of such a complex unit didn't leave me with a flush of goodwill towards Mitsuibishi.
What the price range?
I paid NZ$4200 at Harvey Norman
Harvey Norman on the gold coast (Bundell) and Harvey Norman Browns Plains price is $2.999. Some web sites i've searched are wanting $3.500. Myra
Interested to know, does it have a snap freeze section, if yes what size.
The Mitsubishi Electric MR-E62S handles snap freezing in two ways. 1. The Fast cooling function (QCK) provides fast cooling for the compartment that you choose: refrigerator, versa, freezer or vegetable. Refer page 12 of the user manual.
2. Supercool freezing will freeze hot or cold food in the Versa compartment (an infrared sensor detects the temperature of the food you just placed inside), and will maintain the taste and texture of the food. Refer pages 15-17 of the user manual.
Versa compartment (short term frozen food) – 46 litres gross; freezer compartment – 113 litres gross.

Hi
I'm looking at buying the MR E62S 637 Litre refrigerator. I did not realise that the bottom most drawer is a vegetable drawer. Is it possible to change the temperature of that drawer to be a freezer? (soft freezing)
no you wont be able, i think it is a good thing to have temp is very accurate and can only be adjusted a few degrees loading takes a change in thinking also very quiet
