Ok when it worked but unreliable – The unit was okay when new however the indoor evaporator coil kept leaking. During the 5 year warranty period I replaced the coil 3 times! All under warranty luckily. However I am now out of warranty and it's starting to leak again so I will be installing a brand new system from another brand. Show details

Ideal unit for me!! – This unit is so fantastic. I had another unit for 11 years and it broke down about 3 years ago, never to run again. My sister and brother in law visited me from the States in March and simply couldn't believe I could live in Queensland with no air conditioning !! They called a young man who had installed some units around the area, he came out… Read more

about 2 hours later and installed the unit the next morning!!

We had to go out that afternoon and left the unit running. When we returned and switched the kettle on, the power blew out. Checked the mains, etc and then phoned the supplier who walked us through lots of trouble shooting. He phoned a friend and phoned back and had us check more things. By then it was after 7 and dark. He said "Well, I've run out of solutions" and I thought "Oh no, it's going to be WEEKS before we get this thing running". Then he said "I've got an electrician friend near you, I'll call him and get him to come over". And he was there in 15 minutes!! It turned out the problem wasn't mine, but the manufactured home village that I live in's power pole. But the electrician said "I doubt they are going to get anyone out very soon, so I'll just fix it". And he did. For no charge. And no extra charge from the air conditioning company!! Can't say enough about those good people!!! My sister and brother in law were shocked to the hilt with the whole process!! Said they'd never get such good service where they live!

Of course, the cyclone hit the next day and we didn't have any electricity for 3 days, but .....

The unit is really, really quiet. I have to look at the face of it to see if it's really on! It cools beautifully and heats up really fast. I often run it on 'dehumidify' as the temperature outside is fine, it's just the humidity that drives me crazy, plus I can leave the windows open on that setting. One night I was watching television in my flannel pj's with ugh boots, robe and two blankets on top of me. My nose was FREEZING!! I finally said "enough is enough. I'm going to turn that heater on" It only took about 15 minutes before I was shedding layers and my nose was running from being warm again!! Bliss, just bliss!!!

The remote is super-simple to use. The young man went through it with me and said "Don't bother with this button or that button, just use these two". So that's what I do!!! I think he must have been used to old people!!

The unit was installed where the other one was - in the living room. I close the front and back door plus the bathroom and the bedroom door (there are no other doors to close) and when the rest of my house gets cooled or heated, I open up the bedroom and bath. It then works on those areas for the evening. I live in a one bedroom manufactured home, so it's not that big anyway.

It doesn't seem to use much electricity. My power bill only went up by $18 the month my sister was here and it was running night and day the whole time.

I've had Mitsubishi's before in other houses and they have always been wonderful. They're my air of choice!!!

Excellent Little Unit – I have had the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-GL25VGD Split system in my master bedroom. It has been in the room since early December 2016. I must say that over all I am very impressed with the unit. Economical as Mitsubishi claims, super quiet and it varies its speed accordingly to needs/ room temperature when it is switched on. I am very happy with the… Read more

unit, cooling quickly and then running in economy mode once it reaches the desired temperature I have set. I have set the unit to 23c and I have not missed a nights sleep throughout the summer. Price was great at $840 for the unit and I ended up paying $450 for instillation. I would highly recommend this air conditioner for the bedroom any time.

I will add to this review once I have had the unit for a year. Currently however, no regrets and this should be top of your list if you need a small unit to cool or heat a single room. Well worth the money. Key to any air conditioner is making sure once a month you clean the filters. Easy to take out and clean.

Works well and Cools/Heats the Room nicely – This unit is very Quite and warms and cools an average sized room well, it uses approx 1kwh to run as per my Power Meter Display, and is Cheaper than Gas to run in Winter for Heating. I love the cooling in Summer, soooooo nice :) It only took the Electrician around 1 - 2 hours to install. I have had this Unit going on for 1 year … Read more

"February", and have not had any problems or rattles with the Unit, it has been used most days.

The only dislike I have is for the Icons on the remote Control, I have a hard time telling which is for Cold and Which is for Heat, and have had to look on Youtube a few times to figure it out. " must be a common problem as there are a number of youtube videos to tell you what icon means what " they are poor representations of the Sun and a snowflake.

But even with the icon problem this is one of the most reliable and performing air conditioners, I have another Mitsubishi in another room and a Kelvinator the Mitubishi's are quieter and cool better.

Always buy an Inverter Unit as they are far cheaper to Run.

Great Aircon unit – We've had our airconditioning unit for almost 3 years now and its been wonderful. We've had no issues with it at all. The heat and aircon work really well. The unit is sleek and looks great on our wall. I have no hesitation recommending this product. We bought both a 2.5 and 3.5kw units.  Show details

Terrible warranty service - do not buy!!!!!! – Mitsubishi have a shocking warranty service - lack there of! We purchased a 7.1kw AC Unit for a holiday home - never used the AC. They knocked back our warranty claim even though it was still under warranty!!! tracking being found. If this was noted sooner, any damages and issues relating to this could have been mitigated and resolved sooner. I understand the reasons behind the delay in noting the issue, as discussed in our previous email threads.'

We advised them that no one knew about the water coming down the wall - we could not possibly lodge a claim sooner for something we didn't know about!

The whole experience dragged over 5 months and we took them to Office of Fair Trading.

If you want peace of mind for warranty purposes DO NOT purchase a Mitsubishi. I recommenced going with Fujitsu.

Very dissappointed!!!! Only lasted 2 years – - Cooling and heating was excellent - Unit was quiet - Unit was very easy to use However the air-con only lasted two years before it packed it in and now won't heat or cool. Operation Indicator lamp is now flashing which means I have to now pay someone to come and repair or replace the unit.  Show details

Poor product – Installed 20/03/2012 product failed 27/12/2017. One would expect an appliance that cost $2300 would have a longer life span than 5 years and 9 months. Mitsubishi adverts TV will try and convince us that their products are best value for money.

look like it going fell apart , sometimes switch of coming a error code , stooped cooling like it did at first days the rest is a air con like so many others , i just had a service man called to service my aircon , it was installed leaking so it did not lasted , to fix it the cost was far more than the price of the unit , i just can say don't install that kinda of machines if you don't install it by yourself they charge you the world just to fix it in case of a leak, it is like buying a printer the machine is cheap but the ink out of reach

good – The cooling is very fast, just after a while, the whole room has been very good, and the whole is ok. Workmanship is very fine. Looked very strong. The noise is basically not, and it is very power-saving to use. When buying, you must buy the number of suitable rooms, otherwise the effect will not be very good. Air conditioning filter equipment is also very convenient to clean, a very good product.  Show details

massive bill but to my surprise it was so much less than expected, I would certainly recommend Mitsubishi Air conditioning for anyone wanting a good and economical to run unit for their home or business.

I also have 2 other different brand split systems, 1 x 8kw Panasonic I would rate at 4 stars and a 3.5kw Kelvinator I would rate this as a 3-star unit.

Relief From Summer Heat – We finally got this installed in our bedroom before last summer so we have now used it for two full summers. We got two units and they are fantastic for both heating and cooling – We had our Mitsubishi aircon installed by an electrician. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about it. It cools well and heats well. The choice of airflow is fantastic so I can set it to low for low fan noise and high for higher performance. The basic settings such as hot/cold, temperature, fan speed and vane settings are easy and the timer function I haven't used yet.  Show details

Very efficient and easy to use – I purchased this air conditioner a few years ago, and it's still going strong. It's been placed in a room that gets very hot in the summer, and has been great for getting the temperature down quickly and quietly. Great for cooling small areas – This unit is a little noisy especially if you're sitting underneath it watching TV, but once it reaches the desired temp all is quiet. in front of it to cool off. It's really important to get the right unit for the area you want cooled. In hindsight we should have waited. We know next time! The control is easy to use. We use a gas heater in winter, I don't think this air con would have the capacity to heat the house effectively so we won't even try that function come winter. It is nice looking.

No heating and A/C is not ice cold - Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-GE25VA – I had one with the house and its a complete failure. Does not heat at all when I set it on heat mode and during a 29°C day A/C was horrible not really cold. Perfect for dismal whether – The heating and cooling of my AC is perfect. I try to usually keep it at 24 degrees but for those miserable days it works magic. It's almost too efficient! – The installation guys said, "you can't go wrong with a Mitsubishi", but we kind of knew that as it was our 3rd one. We have 3 units throughout our entire house and we have found Mitsubishi to be top of the range. This new one is whisper quiet, it's energy rating is awesome and the remote is child's play to use. So good for Canberra – Pretty cheap, (even with a professional install). Ideal for a large bedroom.Doesn't use excessive amounts of power. Nice and quiet when running heat or cooling.
