Ideal unit for me!! – This unit is so fantastic. I had another unit for 11 years and it broke down about 3 years ago, never to run again. My sister and brother in law visited me from the States in March and simply couldn't believe I could live in Queensland with no air conditioning !! They called a young man who had installed some units around the area, he came out… Read more

about 2 hours later and installed the unit the next morning!!

We had to go out that afternoon and left the unit running. When we returned and switched the kettle on, the power blew out. Checked the mains, etc and then phoned the supplier who walked us through lots of trouble shooting. He phoned a friend and phoned back and had us check more things. By then it was after 7 and dark. He said "Well, I've run out of solutions" and I thought "Oh no, it's going to be WEEKS before we get this thing running". Then he said "I've got an electrician friend near you, I'll call him and get him to come over". And he was there in 15 minutes!! It turned out the problem wasn't mine, but the manufactured home village that I live in's power pole. But the electrician said "I doubt they are going to get anyone out very soon, so I'll just fix it". And he did. For no charge. And no extra charge from the air conditioning company!! Can't say enough about those good people!!! My sister and brother in law were shocked to the hilt with the whole process!! Said they'd never get such good service where they live!

Of course, the cyclone hit the next day and we didn't have any electricity for 3 days, but .....

The unit is really, really quiet. I have to look at the face of it to see if it's really on! It cools beautifully and heats up really fast. I often run it on 'dehumidify' as the temperature outside is fine, it's just the humidity that drives me crazy, plus I can leave the windows open on that setting. One night I was watching television in my flannel pj's with ugh boots, robe and two blankets on top of me. My nose was FREEZING!! I finally said "enough is enough. I'm going to turn that heater on" It only took about 15 minutes before I was shedding layers and my nose was running from being warm again!! Bliss, just bliss!!!

The remote is super-simple to use. The young man went through it with me and said "Don't bother with this button or that button, just use these two". So that's what I do!!! I think he must have been used to old people!!

The unit was installed where the other one was - in the living room. I close the front and back door plus the bathroom and the bedroom door (there are no other doors to close) and when the rest of my house gets cooled or heated, I open up the bedroom and bath. It then works on those areas for the evening. I live in a one bedroom manufactured home, so it's not that big anyway.

It doesn't seem to use much electricity. My power bill only went up by $18 the month my sister was here and it was running night and day the whole time.

I've had Mitsubishi's before in other houses and they have always been wonderful. They're my air of choice!!!

An efficient machine – Have only used it a few times but it heats up the room very efficiently. It was recommended by our (independent) air conditioner installer over the Panasonic inverter model that we had already picked out. Have not yet tested the cool setting. It's also quiet. Only negative... not the most attractive on the market.  Show details

Great and quiet operation – We installed this unit when the builder and electrician renovating our house recommended it. That was two years ago, and we have no issue with it. It has a quiet mode and economical mode, which makes it great to run for long hours during hot summer days. Because it is an inverter styled air-conditioner, winter months are great too.  Show details

Quiet and just perfect – Cooling and heating is super efficient and on my Watt meter the 2.5kW plus 3.5kW units together consume around half that of my evaporative cooler; this was a surprise! Heating and cooling is great. Units are very quiet and the nigh mode is almost undetectable (over our bed). Installation was no fuss and remote control is quite intuitive. I researched quite abit before buying and couldn't be happier.  Show details

Good value heating and cooling – Last winter I replaced an out-dated boxy air conditioner with the Mitsubishi MSZGE35KITD model. It is my only form of heating in a cold fibro house and is blissfully warm even at fairly low settings. Extremely quiet, even outside, and easy to use. Now it is summer I appreciate the convenience of quick, quiet cooling. On checking my electricity… Read more

bills I found it is also not expensive to run. Combined with other measures (insulation, opening and shutting windows etc) this unit is economical to use. The installation was done without fuss or mess, which surprised me. Good value all round.

Best among the rest!! – Never thought that Mitsubishi aircon would give a perfect heating and cooling performance until we had it installed and it is as cold as snow and as warm as summer. This unit is absolutely quiet at night. Installed with friendly and helpful staff. The remote is a friendly user too, easy to use! No doubt! Must have try and see it for yourself. :))  Show details

today! can't be without it, money well spent. best investment ever – Only using for cooling at present installed first week January 2017 Not noisy and easy to use even for me (a senior). I can adjust the temperature if too cold ot put a pair of socks on. An option to use for heating in winter instead of gas which is more expensive to use.  Show details

Works well and Cools/Heats the Room nicely – This unit is very Quite and warms and cools an average sized room well, it uses approx 1kwh to run as per my Power Meter Display, and is Cheaper than Gas to run in Winter for Heating. I love the cooling in Summer, soooooo nice :) It only took the Electrician around 1 - 2 hours to install. I have had this Unit going on for 1 year … Read more

"February", and have not had any problems or rattles with the Unit, it has been used most days.

The only dislike I have is for the Icons on the remote Control, I have a hard time telling which is for Cold and Which is for Heat, and have had to look on Youtube a few times to figure it out. " must be a common problem as there are a number of youtube videos to tell you what icon means what " they are poor representations of the Sun and a snowflake.

But even with the icon problem this is one of the most reliable and performing air conditioners, I have another Mitsubishi in another room and a Kelvinator the Mitubishi's are quieter and cool better.

Always buy an Inverter Unit as they are far cheaper to Run.

Quiet and High Quality – Have just bought a 3.5kw unit to replace a faulty 7kw LG Split System. The unit is so much quieter and much more energy efficient than the previous model. The box is smaller and can barely be heard. Would thoroughly recommend Mitsubishi Electric. Great value for money for a unit with such a long warranty.

Does not cool – Installed 3 units just over 12 months ago they have never worked properly had them installed as husband was really sick, have had someone around 4 times in 12 months and now I am told they are not suited to our 40 plus temperature here in Newman WA. They should not be selling them if they are not suited to our climate.

Fantastic quiet great value for money – Was recommended to me by an installer and fridge and washer city Joondalup if you're looking for an inverter make sure you measure your room or get it measured first to make sure it's the right size and these machines are very quiet both the inside and outside unit you wont know when its in use. Don't buy a cheapie, don't buy any other brand the warranty of these would be better than you panasonic, fujitsu etc.

Water Damage To The Isolator Switch (after 3 years) – hey On 20/03/2012 i bought the MSZ-GE35VA air con unit from my local Retravision store. Around about 11-12/07/2015 the unit stopped working and would not turn on. the remote works fine, just that the unit does not turn on. So after phoning Mitsubishi service centre, i was given the phone number of a service technician. the unit is still… Read more

under warranty.

the technician told me that the isolator had been damaged as a result of water/moisture entering the isolator unit.

he told me it would cost me $330 to remedy it.

i asked him how that could be possible, considering the unit is positioned literally smack-bang snugly in-between the roof eaves and the wall. there is no way rain could have entered the unit, impossible! the technician agreed with me. after a few more questions from me, he said that this issue should not have even arisen! apparently the isolator pipe(?) had not been taped/sealed properly and that moisture/condensation had entered the system, thereby disabling the operation of the system.

i then asked him that since he had now remedied the issue, how long should his handiwork last, and he implied for ages and ages, not just a couple of years!

as you can understand i am extremely livid that i had to pay the $330 to get it fixed when i have only had the unit for only 3 years!!! unbelievable!!!

I BELIEVE THAT MITSUBISHI SHOULD COVER ME, UNDER WARRANTY, FOR ME EXPENSES. THE INSTALLER WAS ALL ORGANISED THROUGH THE RETRAVISION STORE.

the most quietest air-con to date – I needed to replace my old air con ,it was about 15 years old and getting noisy ,so my search began.I bought a Mitsubishi after have it demonstrated to me at a shopping centre . It was very quiet and the indoor unit was the same size as the one already there. After 4 months it started to make a clicking sound on the silent mode ,at first it was… Read more

faint but the it got louder ,I phoned Mitsubishi , we went through the normal stuff then gave me the phone number of a local authorized repairer . When I ran I got through and they put me through to a technician who found the problem over the phone he then said he will fix it when the part comes in . The part came in 7 days ,and was installed that afternoon way past normal business hours. It was fixed ,he took all the details that was it, quick easy and painless , we have a 5 year warranty who these days does that , not many so for me this system works a treat and I have showed my in laws how quiet and how quick the service was that they to got the same system installed at their house So for me the best system is the MSZ-GE35 VA big enough so as not to work it hard when the days are really hot I think that is what killed the old one just did not have enough extra capacity to cope with the demand here in Australia. Again great find good price and good warranty to boot . long warranty, good price , very very quiet and it can go really hard when called upon limited functions like no current temperature reading, no fan only function and better remote holder this one can trick you if you are not careful
