the backing and it not being in place it is now more fragmented than when I went in originally and the camera lenses are now damaged as well.

I have tried reaching out to let them know of my experience and they wanted to charge me another $159 to fix the damage that their team caused. It just feels really scammy money grabbing behaviour to me the backing broke literally within the same week I got it replaced. If they even offered for me to pay cost price that would be fine but the fact they are trying to take advantage and charge a really high mark up to fix a problem they made worse & with poor technical service just really sucks :(

Overall, I would not recommend Mobile Experts based on my experience. There are far better repair shops that value customer service and stand behind their work.

Coming into the holiday season, stay away from these guys and shop somewhere else. They are scammers that just use cheap, incompatible parts. I just hope anyone looking to buy a phone or have repair, look someone else. Don't take my work for it, just read the reviews

They reached out. Asked a few questions, including receipt. Again wasted my time as they have not gotten back to me. Forgot to mention they promised a 1 year warranty and also the gent tried to tell me we only spent $330 when it was $397. He said its on their system. Maybe their staff as sneaking a % for themselves as well. They honour nothing.

I put my Samsung S20+ into the Castle Hill store for a new back and a new battery. 4 months later I damaged the new back and decided to change it myself. When I removed the back I found that NONE of the retaining screws inside were done up and one was actually loose and rolling around inside the phone. Amateurs.

I paid $700 upfront to have the front and back of my phone repaired. The store manager, Younis, assured me that genuine Samsung parts would be used and also sold me an $80 case and a $30 screen protector, claiming they were premium quality and unbreakable. lines across the screen that made it unusable. I did not drop it or mishandle it in any way — it was used as any normal customer would (in a pocket, connected to a charger, etc.).

When I returned to the store, instead of being offered a solution, Younis blamed me for the issue. He refused to repair, refund, or even acknowledge the fault. He instead told me I’d need to pay another $700, offering a $40 discount — which incidentally was the same discount he offered me if I left a fake 5-star review.

To make matters worse, my father — who is friends with the store Manager— visited the store on my behalf to discuss the situation. He blamed that thr damage was done at another store who fixed the camera or was my fault was then told it could be fixed for $450. If the damage were genuinely my fault, why would there suddenly be a discount? The pricing makes no sense and only further suggests a lack of transparency and accountability.

At the end of the day, I paid $700 to fix a phone that is now completely unusable. Your staff made claims about quality and durability that were clearly not delivered, and no attempt has been made to rectify the situation appropriately.

What I’m Requesting:

I am formally requesting a full refund of $700, as the repair did not meet the promised standard, resulted in further issues, and your handling of the situation has not met acceptable standards under Australian Consumer Law.

I've email the company 3 weeks ago and still haven't recieved a reply. Please save yourself the stress

phone began shaking somewhat and showing strange colours. I again took it to the Bondi junction store where they had told me I had dropped my phone (which I hadn’t - didn’t even have damage to the rest of my phone) and refused to fix my phone under warranty. They even had the audacity to question whether I wanted a new repair costing $120. This service was the worst I have ever experienced and suggest others to go to other stores alike.

Low and dishonest people – This company does not honour warranty and sells phones that do not work to advertised standards. They have no interest in law or fairness. They also discriminate against people with disabilities. They have now made threats of harm and death threats. This has been reported to the police and will be prosecuted.

Stay away from this business for any battery replacement requirements – AVOID! Took iPhone mini 12 to Mobile Experts at Charlestown for a battery replacement. Girl told us it would be an Apple battery. They cracked the screen when replacing the battery and replaced it with a non Apple display screen. We didn’t find out until we picked the phone up. battery and display installed on phone. Battery drained 20% overnight without any use. Took phone to Genius Bar @ Apple who advise replacement screen has a fault! Apple cannot guarantee the phone will work if they put a new battery and display screen on the phone as they say the phone may be damaged inside from the replacement battery and screen. Phone now getting extremely hot when charging or in use. We may have to purchase a new phone. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Defective product with no proper replacement or refund – Horrible experience! I purchased a premium screen protector advertised to work with fingerprint scanning. he replaced it with a lower quality protector that completely disabled the fingerprint scanner. Even though I demonstrated that it wasn't working, he claimed it would function properly with clean hands. After yet another return, the seller removed the screen and left me without a replacement, only offering to sell me a new one at half price ($30). Now, I'm left without a screen because they took away the faulty one and haven't provided a replacement. I'm being forced to pay again to get a proper screen and have not received any refund for the defective product. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels like a rip-off, especially considering the premium price I paid. On top of that, at one point, he suggested that paying half-price for a replacement was a good option, insinuating that his boss wouldn't approve such a discount if he called him. He added that he had witnessed his boss yelling at another customer before.

Great team – The Mobile experts team in browns plains are honestly friendly and helpful. I usually come here to fix my phones and any issues I’ve had & every time they’ve helped me out at a reasonable price. Definitely my go to when I have problems. Highly recommend them Show reply
