I’m really happy with my purchase from Mobile Guru Australia. The phone arrived in excellent condition — honestly, it looks and feels just like brand new. The packaging was neat and secure, and delivery was smooth with no issues. Everything works perfectly, and I’m very satisfied with the quality for the price. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable refurbished phone!
I always buy refurbished tech whenever possible, and can say this is the most substantial and professional packaging I've ever received. Item its self is in fantastic condition, looks like new. Very happy with my purchase. Show details

I ordered and paid for an iphone 16 pro max 1T and received a 512GB for the big $ of 1T. However, on Mobileguru realising their error, after my contact, they ubered the incorrect phone back and delivered my correct phone within a couple of hours. New phone is great with 98% battery health! I then went on holidays comforted that i had satellite… Read more · 1

My partner purchased a Pixel 9 Pro Fold via Rebeelo as a birthday gift, sold and shipped by The Mobile Guru. The device was listed as Premium Quality with an elevated battery condition and priced at $1,100. The phone arrived without the original box, which is acceptable, although we had expected it given that this was the highest condition tier… Read more
available.
However, the front display advertised as scratch-free arrived with heavy scratches and even a small crack. Rebeelo offered a $50 refund for this issue, which is completely inadequate given the condition mismatch.
While using the phone, we also discovered that the battery does not charge properly. After testing multiple chargers and cables, the issue persisted. We then ran Google’s built-in diagnostic tool, which confirmed that wired charging has failed, clearly indicating a hardware fault.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise against buying from The Mobile Guru, either directly or through Rebeelo. The condition descriptions are misleading, and faulty devices are being sold. Other reviews also mention receiving stolen or defective phones, and many of the positive reviews appear to be influenced by compensation being offered in exchange.
Be cautious with this company. I purchased an Apple laptop through Reebelo, and it was invoiced and delivered by Mobile Guru. When I turned it on, the device was locked and displayed a message indicating it was stolen. I tried contacting Mobile Guru multiple times but received no response. I eventually had to go through Reebelo to arrange a… Read more
return. If Mobile Guru is a legitimate business, they should thoroughly check their refurbished products and at the very least respond to customer enquiries. Very disappointing experience — I will not be dealing with this business again.

After searching through several phone websites & reading their reviews I considered Mobile guru to be my choice to purchase from. Easy to navigate site with a wide range of choices. My phone arrived in good time and in the condition as stated. Very happy with purchase. Will recommend & use Mobile Guru again. Show details
Follow-up · All good with battery. Charges quickly & holds charge well. Have taken some lovely photos. Sound is acceptable.
On Tuesday 3rd February 2026 I sold my iPhone 13 Pro Max (2021) - 256 GB, Mint for $535. On Thursday 5th February 2026 they accessed it and the device met the conditions so they offered me the price I originally quoted. On the same day they transferred the $535 into my Bank account. Show details
Follow-up · The communication was very easy. The process was easy. It took 2 days to access the phone and for me to get paid.
I was trading in a Samsung S22 which was in very good condition. I rated it as "GOOD" to make the transaction quick and easy. Lo and behold, they rated it way down and instead of the $250, I was offered $10. Apparently a pristine screen had… Read more
developed chips and an excellent chassis had dents. Rubbish. When asked to review the company, I was offered $10 to do so. Nice bribe! They are thieves sadly.

As a first-time seller with Mobile Guru, I was very pleased with the overall experience from start to finish. I compared several online buyers, and Mobile Guru offered the highest price for my device. The process was smooth— the satchel arrived from Melbourne to rural Queensland in just three days, and my device was sent back to them within… Read more
another three days. Once received, the order was processed, re-evaluated, and approved within four days, which I was happy with. The only slight downside was that the payment took a little longer than expected. Overall, I’m very satisfied with Mobile Guru and would definitely sell with them again.
Great customer service over the phone. The big issue I have is the hold up in delivery. The phone I ordered was held duecto waiting on a battery. Aust Post stated the parcel was in transit. Im confused! I was never notified of the hold up & I was in the belief it was an Aust Post issue. Communication is key, this order was held up for 10 days… Read more
before delivery arrived. Mobile Guru had it for 7 of these days. I was on the belief it was sent express post. Nothing express about this order

Stay away from this company. I was quoted $530 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and then after I’d sent it to them I received an email saying I was only going to get $460 because there were “scratches” on the phone. The phone was still in its expensive life proof case and I think I’d only ever taken it out of that case once or twice in 3yrs and it was… Read more
only to change over a sim. It also had a glass screen cover that had been on it its entire life. They get you because you go to all the way to post it and they count on people not being bothered to go through the effort of having it returned and the fact that sometimes you need cash urgently and they take advantage of that. Definitely do not recommend!!!
I have been waiting nearly 3 weeks for a response from these guys. I purchased a phone, plus cover and case. The phone seems fine, although I'm reluctant to use it yet because they sent 2 screen covers instead of a case and the screen covers are for the wrong model. I emailed them straight away with pictures and have followed up again, still no response. Show details

I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 on 28/11/2025 from Kogan Marketplace seller Mobile Guru Australia. Payment was accepted and the order was confirmed. No explanation, alternatives, or remedies… Read more
were offered.
The product was advertised and sold at a Black Friday price that does not appear to be available elsewhere. Once the order was cancelled, no attempt was made to honour the advertised price or offer an equivalent product, leaving me unable to purchase the same item at that price from another retailer.
Under Australian Consumer Law, a seller cannot simply cancel a confirmed order and consider the matter closed by issuing a refund alone. Where goods are advertised, paid for, and confirmed at a specific price, the buyer is entitled to an appropriate remedy — including supply of the item or an equivalent product.
Despite clearly and repeatedly requesting that Mobile Guru Australia and Kogan honour the original sale by supplying the Surface Pro 11 or an equivalent current model at the agreed Black Friday price, I have received no meaningful response.
Formal complaints are currently active with: • ACCC (ref 0099374) • NSW Fair Trading (ref 11480579)
Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing high-value items from this seller or via Kogan Marketplace.

Super happy with my purchase. I recently decided I would not spend $2,000 anymore for a st>pid phone. But it was high time for me to upgrade. I found the perfect one, a slight upgrade from my old SE. Phone was evaluated @ $790 with comments “Ding and discoloration on the volume up and down buttons” with “ We kindly ask you to visit our office to collect your device or we can return the devices to you at your expense for a fee of $10.” As my only option if I don’t agree
Titanium button, phone always in a case? For all I know it’s dirty, but I’m effectively being held ransom with a 10 dollar fee to return, which is not documented anywhere on the website, or conveniently 20 dollars off what apparently good. Even based on the definition of good, I should get $810.
The business model is clearly built around you sending your device off and having no choice but to accept a reduced offer or paying fees not clearly defined on the website.
