Instructions to put the Minato Textured Buffet together were great - after a lot of rework to align the doors we still can't manage to get them aligned nicely. Over 4 weeks of trial and error still needs some work.

UPDATE: After writing this review, but prior to publishing, Mocka made contact and worked rather fast to remediate the situation. I was offered store credit, but as per ACL, I declined that offer. They then agreed to refund the cost of the drawers and did so within 24 hours.
I want to thank them for working with me to resolve the issue in a timely manner, but I am disappointed that it took writing a negative review for this issue to be actioned and resolved, despite me acknowledging that other products purchased were in perfect working order.
Please, as a consumer, be aware of ACL and your rights as a consumer, and stand up for what you are entitled to. I am happy with the final outcome.

Products containing MDF are unsafe to use – Mocka's Facebook page states that they have exceptional customer service, I am extremely disappointed to have received anything but. 3 weeks ago we discovered that our cot had gone mouldy after reading several similar stories online, Mocka was quick to blame environmental factors before asking any questions to investigate the issue further. have adequate ventilation, insulation and heating in our home, therefore this is not an environmental issue but a manufacturing one. Since going public with this issue we have had over 25 people contact us saying the exact same thing has happened to them, their little ones cots have gone mouldy.
Mocka your cots do not meet the Consumer Guarantees Act, they are not safe, they are not durable, they are made from poor quality untreated MDF which is not fit for purpose and should not be on the market. I urge you to please recall your unsealed MDF products and investigate this issue as this is a problem from more than one batch and from the tone in the responses I received I get the impression you will continue to not take any responsibility or accountability for this.
MDF is not a suitable material for the underneath of a cot if not used correctly. This is for the following reasons: MDF will grow mould due to dampness and not enough sunlight. However, if the MDF was sealed and/or there were more slats this wouldn’t be an issue. The MDF has clearly not been sealed in order to prevent any mould from occurring. This is something which has been missed during the manufacturing process. Given the design of the cot and the lack of slats to aid with ventilation the MDF should definitely be sealed and sealed well.

If the above is true like you state it is then please demonstrate it by doing something to make your products safe for the end user or simply take them off the market until you can do so.

exactly what I was after for my bedroom space—it fits in perfectly and looks fantastic.
The only small challenge was that the chair came flat packed and needed to be assembled. I did find putting it together a bit tricky, but to be fair, that may have been more of a “me” issue than anything else!

I recently purchased a Mocka nursery dresser and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The assembly process was unnecessarily difficult, and the screws became loose if you had to adjust or re‑screw anything, which shows very poor build quality. Their customer service was equally frustrating and unhelpful. Overall, the product quality and support were far below expectations. I won’t be purchasing from Mocka again.
