Not as great as it first appears – At first I really liked this juicer. I was taken in with the cool features like the closeable spout and the wide mouth at the top. through the juicer (sitting in the basket and getting caught between the basket and the plastic case. Also a lot of pulp comes out of the spout and gets caught by the mesh. This slows the process down as the mesh needs to be cleared to let the juice through.

2. Not easy to clean. The basket is a pain to clean. The provided toothbrush does nothing - only a scourer works.

3. The rubber seal, not matter how well it is pushed in, always seems to let a little puddle of juice out the bottom.

I had problems with the pulp building up in the spout at first too and was sent a replacement top. This helped a little but it can still be a problem. The screw seems to push it back up if you juice as fast as what they do in the online videos on the website.

Also have had a couple of calls from the company with review type questions. Both times they said they were going to send me things as a thank you but never received anything.

Customer service is just outstanding – Having never had a juicer before, I did my research as far as I could then it came down to making a choice. nothing-too-much-trouble and helpful, they were an Australian company (and they 'felt' Australian the way they interacted) – it felt good to support them.

And now I'm a MOD owner I can tell you that customer service wasn't a sales pitch, but a taste of things to come. They go above and beyond, outstanding customer service, in fact up there with the best I've ever experienced.

The machine itself looks great too – though unobtrusive, it catches people's eye, and I regularly get (favourable) comments. It sits stylishly on my benchtop, taking up minimal space – adds to the look not detracts. That's important because personally if I have to haul something out then pack it away each time I tend not to use it – because it's there it very quickly became part of my morning routine.

So no regrets, only praise. Having had it now 2 months I'm pleased to report I like this machine & use it every day, They're very receptive to, and encourage, feedback too, genuinely keen to hear and respond to real-user experience – this product will only get better.

durability, style and ease of cleaning. The machine assembles & disassembles easily and cleaning is a straight forward process. This requires particular focus on only a couple of areas mainly the strainer unit and pulp extraction area which can become clogged with fibrous material - it's easily removed with the provided brush tool so it's no problem. Anyone trying to tell you that cleaning is not an issue either doesn't juice much or is juicing simple fruits like oranges & apples not the really fibrous stuff like kale. I've been very happy with both Mod (an Australian company) and their juicer - stop looking, you've found the right product.

I'm happy – I've used the Mod a few times now, and can safely say it's the best juicer I've had. It's very easy to pull apart and clean, which I rate the most important property of juicers. There is minimal waste, which means more juice is getting made. Show details ·  1

parts to the MODGEN model, I found the Customer Service (Frankie who I mainly dealt with, and then Rowena) of an excellent standard. Enquiries were promptly responded to, and details of upgrade were comprehensively and very clearly laid out. Frankie's communication skills, on the phone and in email, were most effective. It was a pleasure to deal with this degree of efficiency and consideration in customer care. The parts were also shipped promptly. I highly recommend this company for its very good product, supported by outstanding customer service.

Love it! So easy to use – Fantastic juicer which I have used for 6 months now, upgrading from my old style one. Rinses clean but needs a good scrub every now and then. Relatively quiet but noisy when using carrot, beetroot or other hard vegetables. Would highly recommend to anyone. moderately impressed – I have used the Mod Juicer for two months now. Yes it is quiet but only if you don't use hard vegetables like carrot or beetroot. Yes it is easy to clean but only if you don't use fibrous veg like celery - then the fiber shoot gets clogged and is difficult to clean. Reassembly is just as easy. The machine is quite handsome design and can sit quite comfortably on the bench. While this juicer is a bit more expensive than some "non" cold press juicers, I would highly recommend not wasting time and money on them and go straight to the Mod juicer, you wont be disappointed.

Handy machine – My wife bought the mod cold press juicer a year or two ago now and it does what it is supposed to do quite well. But like most juicers It is a bit of a hassle to clean. quite hard to remove even with the supplied brush so I had to resort to cleaning with a BBQ brush to get them out - which worked well...

We accidentally broke one of the lugs that holds the machine together - not a fault of the machine (don't poke a wooden spoon into it), but have been sent new parts for free which was very good customer service I must say.

Could not be happier – Astonishingly fast delivery. Easy to assemble. Maximum juice from both fruit and vegetables. Quiet operation. Don't look at any other juicer! – Very happy with juice produced! Smooth, delicious! Cafe quality! Even the pulp is delicious and you can add a little or a lot back into ur juice depending on what your buds like texturally. Sound is minimal. Much like a horse eating a carrot.
