Placed an order with Modlily but cancelled the order within an hour. I selected the cancel order function and was offered a discount on purchases which I refused and requested a full refund which was agreed. Two days later I was advised that a credit note was issued and not the refund as requested. I am currently following up with credit company to cancel the payment with Modlily. Modlily are underhanded and I will never deal with them again.

Do not trust Modlily. I ordered a sweater in January 2026 and to this day June 2 2026 I have not received it or a refund. I have gotten a complete run around. You can only chat online with what appears to be a person and they promise a refund is coming that never comes. I also sent items back and never got all the items I exchanged for. Save your money for a more trustworthy company that literally has a customer service. Show details

its website to enable a return. Similarly an alternative top I considered was reportedly "out of stock" despite ongoing advertising of its availability. All in all a lesson I have learned from my dealings with Modlily - DO NOT BUY !!! from them. Rather than increase my frustration I will now pay for the top I have to be repaired as it is otherwise the right size, would look good when repaired and hopefully will appear as it should when worn. An expensive lesson which I feel should be shared through this forum.

I was trying to order and the deal is " Buy 3 get one free". I ordered 4 swimsuits and put the code BUY3GET1 ( as instructed). It told me at checkout to add 2 more items to get the discount. Very confusing so not continuing with order. ( who needs and wants to pay for 6 swimsuits)? Also read that the dollars are in US not AUS as implied.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Cheap materials! I am trying to return an item. I was given a return address and they said they would give me a full refund but the address they gave me was not correct and now I can’t get in contact. I can’t return the item and it was $95 AUD! First of all they removed the discount code for the BOGO twice and I had to re enter it. Once the payment was made it was for the full amount. Within 5 minutes I was contacting them through the chat feature which told me they would offer me 35% off instead which I obviously refused. email letting me know of the refund. Within an hour I instead received an email telling me the order had been dispatched and couldn’t be cancelled and I could return for a refund once delivered. Items arrived, I didn’t even open the bag, just got straight online to arrange to return them. Absolutely gobsmacked to read that they were non refundable! None of my previous emails, nor the website mentioned this and in fact told me all about their “easy returns and exchange policy”. Strongly urge anyone thinking of ordering DON’T. not worth the headache.

*Just opened the swimmers and definitely not worth the money, not even if I did get the BOGO.

swimmers were worth very disappointed in their return policy I will no longer be buying products from this company. I will stick to Australian products. The swimsuits are beautiful, which is why I always came back, but this was very stressful for me as these swimsuits weren’t cheap.

couple of years ago I brought an item and never received it. When questioned I could never get a response or even proof they sent it. Should never have given this company a 2nd chance.

 Follow-up  · I did track my returned parcel which was received in February. Is has been received by Modlily. The customer service team just keep telling me it takes time for a refund. How much time? I have contacted them regarding this matter 5 times just to be told it will be sorted in a few days. Nothing eventuates.

currently over AU$400 out of pocket for items that are poor quality, strange sizing & terrible fabric. My order is still in 'dispute' after almost 6 weeks. Also note - any potential refund will be made in USD$ DO NOT ORDER from this company if you are in Australia!!

 Follow-up  · Fabric was very average quality, did not feel good on. Fit was well below standard, especially for swimwear.

the normal 'nasty' Polyester feel to the material. I washed it in cold water only and hung it to dry in the Laundry for a few days. Perfect. My 4 Star Rating is due to the fact that whereas I thought I was paying in AUS turned out to be in USD! No mention of currency until one actually pays! I have worn My Dress. Very comfortable and as advertised as 'a Midi' I wore Brown Boots with it. It is more of a Maxi which suites Me fine! Apart from paying more than I anticipated I love My Dress! I feel good in it and have been told I look good in it! Can't ask any more than that can We!

 Follow-up  · Still love My Dress. I haven't looked for any other Colours if any. The fabric is softer than most Polyester and it feels more like a Cotton blend. As stated earlier the Payment for articles is made in US Currency which makes it more expensive than the advertised price. I will stick with what I have!

DO NOT BUY. The photos of items are outstanding and while look the same are nowhere near as nice in reality. Very quick to take money. Items (2 pieces of swimwear) took over 6 months to arrive. Cheap nasty and ill fitting. Getting a refund was not only expensive from Australia (only US, CAN or UK to return items at buyer expense) but time… Read more

consuming and frustrating. I was given the ring around as they wanted me to accept a partial store credit and keep items (as I wanted the items or was going to spend another cent). I spent hours on the chat line via website (one cannot speak to anyone) repeatedly asking for a refund. I eventually received one but in effect only about half of what I spend due to mailing cost. You'd have to pay me to have anything to do with this company again. They appear to be some sort of Asian establishment due to some of the language or responses I received. Go Temu any day!!

Red dress , too small as gathered front and seam coming apart and only tried on. Yellow print must undo top,button to wear otherwise tight around neck. Otherwise a good fit. Elastic keeps riding up on my White/Blue dress tight around the neck, White flowers and Blue background is a good fit on me. Delivery took weeks.

order as a return, which was impossible because I never received any goods in the first place. Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails asking for a refund and keep getting told there’s no refund request to process. The only contact available seems to be automated responses rather than actual customer service staff. My experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning, so please be careful and do your research before ordering from this company.

I have requested my account and profile be completely removed and deleted from Modlily, but keep offering me to change my email subscription. The Customer Service team advised me that the account will be closed in 48hrs. $8hrs have elapsed and my account is still valid. Looks like I have to take it further.

I bought 2 bikinis - thinking they were as advertised - ie. Larger-chested women. They arrived 2 months later to start with. Very poor quality and definitely not like the pictures. Zero support and the cup size is far too small. Cheap and nasty. In addition to this, I've requested 5 times to be unsubscribed from their mailing list. No joy. They bombard on a daily basis with up to 10 emails!! No way of contacting them either. Avoid at all costs! Show details
