Lovely opal pendant and good service – Recently bought a opal necklace for my partner from this store and she loved it. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and knowledgable which was reassuring. Overall a good experience and I've been told by my partner to come back for another one next year.

Itchy fabrics, seem split within 2 wears – I purchased two items from Mombasa Rose. One was a dress that was so incredibly itchy I could only wear it for brief periods. I bought the Aurora T-Shirt Perfect Pink , Phoenix Tee Chocolate and Tali Snow White Tank Top. I already purchased my second order of T-Shirts in other colours and recieved within a few days. I recommend purchasing your T-Shirts from Mombasa Rose as you wont regret it.

return a dress as I accidentally ordered an incorrect size and the process was super easy! Once they received the return back they issued my credit note really quickly and I was able to order my correct size, which is now my all time favourite!

Shocking products and poor service – Terrible designs.. the fabric and colours are not as the website displays. Poor quality garments , sizing inconsistent – I stopped buying clothes of Shein because of the poor quality and opted for Mombasa rose, it’s not any better. Perfect Aussie styles – I’ve been buying from this company for a few years now and I can say I’ve never had a problem with them. The last dress I ordered, a Rozita skirt with lots of frills in a beautiful cotton with seashells print gets me so many compliments and makes me feel 10 years younger! often call up for advice when I’m trying out a new style! They have lots of cotton in bright colours and their clothes are soft and feminine. Nothing too tight or fitted which is perfect for Queensland.

Do read the size guide and the fit description - these clothes are meant to be worn comfy and they have lots of info about fit and how the dresses should look.

Overall I’ve only had 10/10 experiences with them.

Colours not as pictured – I've had 2 items from Mombasa Rose, a skirt and a dress. Both items have colour differences from those pictures. The colours are not as vivid and bright. Also be aware that dress sizings are large . There is no refund available and it costs extra to return an item, buy another in its place and then pay for shipping again. NO RETURNS ALLOWED – I ordered a dress size 12/14 (which is my size). The dress was huge and unwearable. I expected an online shopping company to be happy with returns and exchanges of sizes but they do not allow returns for incorrect sizing. The quality is average, not worth the money paid, price shown excludes tax. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Do not buy from here!!! – I ordered by their size range…. I am a solid 12 to 14 and even my pants being a 16. I bought their Large size 12 to 14 which were Miles too big! Baggy around the arm pits. Sizes are way off – Measurements on the website sizing guide are way off. The three dresses I ordered were HUGE. It is called the lizzie bouquet dress and it fits really well, the colour is a gorgeous deep red and it has plenty of space on the top for a larger bust.
