I paid my deposit it all started to deteriorate. Firstly I waited 2 months for the installation then finally the installation occurred after numerous emails and calls, this should have been the warning signs Then the installation was completed poorly with parts missing including damaging roof tiles and my sewer breathing pipe. The panels were also installed poorly and not straight and as agreed. The biggest issue I identified, different solar panels have been installed with no discussion or agreement from me to install these different panels.
Further from this I have not received any paperwork and compliance from More Green Energy as outlined by the Green Energy Council solar installation standards. I have attempted since the installation date of the 16/11/2018 to resolve all the issues but More Green Energy are just continuing to lie, I have requested to speak to a senior manager which they are never available, left messages for one to contact me to discuss all the issues to resolve but still wait for that call. I write this to inform people to stay completely away from this company The More Green Energy (Contractor Licence - #304318C) and don’t risk your money. I would also like to point out that just because a retailer is a member of the Clean Energy Council this does not guarantee that member will meet the Clean Energy Council Standards they advertise and the Clean Energy Council will not assist the consumer with any retail members that provide poor standards. Basically the Clean Energy Council logo on a retailer website means nothing for consumer protection.
Fair Trading NSW have advised this company is unlicensed so don't use them.
I suggest any person that has Solar installed make sure you check the quality of the installation, especially if you have previously engaged More Green Energy.
Beware don’t use More Green Energy (Contractor Licence - #304318C) for any solar installation or products.
Poor quality customer service – I have been trying to contact for a while sending emails, on Facebook and txt and there is not way they answer back. I need support with the smart meter that was installed, so the app doesn't allow to me to read how much is my consumption at any time.

demanded I sign a new one without providing any evidence. Sounds not just strange but probably illegal. He told me my deposit was with More Green Energy but the new company Solar Chiefs were so nice that they were going to fulfill my contract without another deposit. All I had to do was pay the balance…. Yeah right. Do not trust them. I would suggest you do not trust anyone from an Indian Call Centre that calls to give you a quote. I suspect they are all in the same building calling from different company names playing a numbers game. It’s all mobile phones, gmail accounts and Aussie names from Indian voices. They are probably the same people who wrote the positive reviews. I’m fighting to get my deposit back but if this review stops anyone from signing up with these scammers and having their money stolen it will be worth it.

Avoid at all costs – Positive reviews here have to be fake. Nothing but trouble from the start. As with other dissatisfied reviews here. Damage brand new roof. Drilled holes where anyone with the smallest of knowledge would know not to. Left so much rubbish in the gutter it blocked my downpipes and storm water. Had to get a plumber in. After the install they did not lodge the paperwork with energy company until I queried it so had panels on the roof feeding the grid with no benefit to me. I only found out about the lodgement needed due to me stupidly referring and friend who also has had nothing but trouble from these fraudsters. The friend that referred me has simply had it disconnected and given up. Faulty inverter now and had nothing but lies and broken promises - that’s when they answered my calls. My last email sent was to tell them I have worked on schools that were badly damaged due to faulty solar systems. I have had the electricians that worked on those jobs come to make sure my house won’t burn down. I was advised that it was the solar company that did the supply and install had to honor their warranty and if they did anything that may void my warranty. All the electricians could tell me is that yes there is an error showing. These fraudulent companies rely on people to give up and pay for their rubbish and continue supplying dangerous goods. I’ve posted photos in the hope others realize we complaining are not crazy lunatics we are sick of paying hard earned money and get given the cold shoulder once these people have it. As someone who has contracted work for nearly 40yrs I’m in awe of how people operate nowadays. Criminal behavior with little to no consequences unless we get legal. Just returned from their Kings Park NSW address. Their neighbors said they packed up about 1 month ago (today’s date 5.12.22) and they hadn’t seen them since. As for Fair Trading…….I guess we all know they aren’t very helpful at all.

New Solar power system installation – Very professional team. Nathan was very knowledgeable about system selection as well as getting all the required approvals. Pradip and his installation team were very professional and installed the system within a few hours. By the time they left the system was already connected to the grid. clients budget and requirement. It is not always possible to meet both and that's when the problem arises. Unless a client has perfect roof position for all their solar panels it will never be possible to satisfy customers no matter what system they get installed. Well, mine wasn't a perfect one hence I had to go for a bigger system. My system was installed 3 days before the actual date. I know right? haha Apparently one of the customer had to postpone their installation and I was lucky enough to get mine installed earlier. I wanted to make sure the system delivers what it is suppose to. Fingers crossed it will continue to do so with a slight decline as expected over time. Long story short since Feb 2021 my system is still going strong. On a good day it is still producing enough energy that fulfils my needs during daytime and sending a decent amount back to the grid. Yes, even when our energy providers have doubled their rates and keeping the solar feed-in-tarriff low. Highly recommend More Green Energy.
Great Service and Advice – Its been 9 months since More Green Energy installed our system. Its works great. Seeing plenty of savings even whilst the weather has been bad. Only issue I have had was the app went off line on my phone, called John for tech advise and it was up and running straight away. Poor, dishonnest customer service at purchase – I was lied to when purchased the system. Finally took my Credit Card provider to sort out their lies on what was in the contract. They took an extra $200 from my credit card when processing. It took a long time to retrieve this payment, probably never recovered from MGE by my bank. Show details
Pls keep away from More Green & the Tailor brothers – Any positive reviews online were made up by their relatives. Total scammers, too late for my father to take them to NCAT unfortunately, it takes more than 3 years ie too long to figure out what’s wrong with a solar installation and by that time, out or warranty - no recourse - and they know it - Show details

So, it is the lesson learned, Go with a reputable company even if they are more expensive initially, as it will work out cheaper in the long run.
DO NOT USE MORE GREEN ENERGY! Be warned – Aggressive pre sales. Harrassing. Quote competitive. Once they have your money they do not communicate with you. Wont answer phone. Will not reply to emails. Will not return calls. Insisted on full payment prior to install. Refused Nil arrangements nor paperwork supplied to get connection to grid. They tske your money and run. Have they gone bust?. Doggy Company – Took Money and now company is closed. People like these make whole Indian specially Gujarati community name bad. Take the money then close the company and change the number Same on you. I will publish the license Number and the name plus hand it over to Fair trading as well.

our money back but were unable to. They took the government grant as well as our money. Lesson learnt is to never go for a small company when you are dealing with something like this. EnergyAustralia would never be able to get away with this kind of behaviour. These small companies go bankrupt and you either lose all the installation money like us or you will not have the after service if something goes wrong. Go with a reputable company even if they are more expensive in the beginning as it will work out cheaper in the long run.

later guys comes again but still thinks is cloudy (on my neighbors was already have men up their roof setting up Solar panels already) oh well, I have no say here. In Nov 2022, try to contact them for my next installation, left message and never replied. Rang my Bank to recover my few thousands dollars that I fully paid, but is unrecoverable after they started the investigation. They are the scammer, think recently they got a lot of complaints and closed down their company but still kept their website online... now with Fair Trading, but it is also very unlikely I can get the money back… as they must have flee away already, as lots of people came back with installation problem and couldn’t get any response from them. They admit the system is faulty, but refuse to fix it – This third review I have written here. I had the system installed in September 2018. Worked for a year. They replaced 2 inverters and then kept insisting that the system worked fine despite the fact that it only produces about 20% of what it used to produce and should produce. with one of the wires that runs from the roof panels to the inverter. They said that my trades people damaged it. Well, if they damaged it, how did it work fine for a year? Besides, there are lots of other wires in all the walls and none got damages, but supposedly their. How can they even tell that it is damaged inside the wall. Anyway, they agreed back in May that they would fix it by running another wire from the roof. Fast forward. Nothing has been done and now they don't even respond to my emails. I am making a complaint to the Department of Fair Trading, again. I will also try to find if there is any way they might have to pay the subsidy back. Just stay away from this unprofessional company that will not fix any problem you might have with your system. I have dealt with other companies since, and don't have any issues with them.
Appear to have gone bust?!!! – Installed in 2020. Last two bills have been very high despite having 28 panels and a Solis inverter - tried to contact the company but all numbers on their site do not connect any longer and there is zero response to emails. Binding contract to customers without product/service! – They ask me to sign a contract with $100 since April 2022. Then I cancelled other competitor's quotes. There is no real plan of installation. Stay away from Dodgy company.
Bad experience – More green energy have stopped taking phone calls or replying to emails just few weeks after installation. I am worried about warranty claim and will be lodging a complaint with fair trading for compensation. Show details
Excellent technical support – Recently we received a message that "Device was offline" which was probably due to the change in our nbn router. John Harris responded very quickly to our email enquiry. He had effortlessly assisted to reconnect the solar system to the server and remote monitoring. His patience and clear instruction is very much appreciated. He even follow-up hours later to ensure that everything was in working order. Thank you very much, John.
Solar purchase and Installation – The company was upfront immediately with competitive pricing and no sweeteners. Discussing what was the best product to use they indicated a brand and subsequently provided a top of the line panel. No debates at all with pricing from the startle they were the most competitive .
