Morphy Richards 48319 Questions & Answers
VerifiedI cannot fix the baking pan to the socket any more. The pan-side part suddenly seems not to fit any more. I cannot turn it to the click as it doe not come down far enough. So it cannot snap into place any more.
What can I do? I don't remember changing anything since the last time I used it.

The issue is still the same, the problem still needs to be solved. I tried to contact the company directly and have yet to receive an answer. Just on this platform here there is a reply.
Tried make whole wheat bread without sugar. But the crust did not turn brown. How can I make it brown?
We purchased a Morphy Richards bread maker 48319 before in November 2019. My wife could not get the touch pad to work correctly so it was put in the cupboard and forgotten about until recently. A friend who has a bread maker said she would see if it works. As it turns out she too had the same problem getting the touch pad to work. Our mistake for putting it in the cupboard. Can you advise on possible causes for this or was it faulty from purchase. It has never been through the initial heat cycle. Shane Roy.
Hi Roy, I'm sorry to hear of this. I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thanks
How is it?

Can I get parts for this machine
Hello Sue Can you please advise what parts you are requiring. Please email this information to service@glendimplex.com.au we will then be able to advise you if the part is available.
My Morphy Richards bread maker was bought some time ago however I may have used it a maximum of 10 times . Unfortunately it is shorting is there an agent that can repair it inSouth Australia or should I junk it
Hi Satisfied customer. We don't have agents for our small appliances however you could source a small electrical appliances repairer in your local area who may be able to assist you. Perhaps give them a call first to check if they work with bread makers. Yellow pages should give you a listing of these businesses close to you.
My loaf was ready and I took it out before the process finished as it would have baked too much. When I turned it back on it just goes back to last heating time and I can’t turn it to a fresh setting for another loaf????? How can I close it off to begin again?
Hi Sandy If your loaf is baking too much, you can adjust this by selecting a lower level browning level when programming the bread maker in preference to removing the loaf before the cycle is complete. To prepare the machine for starting another programme, switch the unit off at the wall and wait up to 5 minutes for the unit to re set itself, and open the lid so that the cooking element can cool down. My breadmaker is brand new and it will not go past 2 setting and then starts without holding the tick for 3 seconds, can it be reset somehow
Hi Trevor The best way to re set the breadmaker it switch it off at the wall, wait about30 seconds then switch back on. You should be able to start again.
Tried that and it was still the same

what is the difference between 48319 and premium 48319 Robert
Hi Robo, The Morphy Richards Bread Maker model 48319 is the Premium Plus. There is only one model with the numbers 48319.
Is normal on pizza dough setting no 14 that there is a delay of approx 30 min before it starts up
Should the machine start working as soon as you have programmed it?
Hi Colin, acutally no the pizza function goes for 50 minutes so it should start once you have pressed the Accept/start button. You need to press for a few seconds for this to start the process.
I find it hard to program. I press the plus button at the top and it will go to about program 3 then back to 2 then maybe up to 7 then back to 6. Sometimes I just cant get it to go to 14 Pizza no matter what I do. I then use my cheap Breville which is super easy to program and try the Morphy Richards next week. Sometimes it will go right through to 14, its just a crap shoot. I would like to make pizza doughin my Morphy Richards and a loaf of bread in my Breville at the same time, but this is not to be. Can anyone tell me if holding my mouth a different way will help?
The only thing I suggest is what I did, just tip the whole thing in the trash can. I was running out of patience with the stupid thing, it has been the worse appliance I ever bought. I know this is not going to help you - but I am sure that is what you end up doing with that piece of [censored word removed].
My machine moves easily through the numerical sequence. I have never experienced any difficulty programming it. It sounds as though the machine is faulty. Time to test Morphy Richards customer service - good luck!
Hi
Just wondering from the people who have reviewed this appliance are they still happy with the machine since their reviews.
Thank you
Very happy, haven't bought a loaf of bread since! Had one small problem with the collapsible paddle. It consists of two parts and the pin holding them came out while mixing. I meant to claim it under warranty but the husband fixed it up and so far it works ok. I use it on fairly heavy rye mixes.
