Stops working and needs turning off and on again every 1-2 days or so – I have had several of these, they all stop working after 1-2 days and continuously need to be turned off and back on, then works for 1-2 days, and again repeat! Useless, does not work properly Show details

This product did not kill insects Automatically – The spray itself is non odourous and the pump took about 30 seconds to set up. But the automatic dispenser just keeps pumping out the spray even when not required even when adjusted to the lowest setting. have always had good results with the Mortein hand held spray cans as they have a better range and accuracy. I will stick with those from now on. This product did not work and was a waste of money.

Excellent Product. Does the job well – I cannot believe how many people have been let down and voiced their disappointment with this product. I bought two because they were on sale for $7 each and I'm amazed at how well they work. I've had them for approx. six weeks now and only just today, had to replace the cannisters. The settings are working just as they should. Battery replacement has not been required at this stage. I have no complaints whatsoever. Happy New Year To All. Show details

this will nuke any bug that comes to visit.

Second in holiday van- keeps the bugs away when we’re not there, only downside is that even the slowest setting doesn’t last long enough if we can’t get there for a few months.

Third in my home office (located in an out building). Every morning there’s a graveyard of dead bugs on the windowsill!

I find it strange that having purchased 3 I haven’t had a single problem, yet others keep getting the duds. I always use premium batteries, wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Only criticism is that I would appreciate an ultra slow option, eg spray every few hours for somewhere like a holiday van that is small and sealed up for months at a time.

great product – put it high up in the kitchen because of flies and it kills all flies that enter that area also cockroaches have appeared on the floor dead that I never knew I had so seems to be working great!

Disappointed – I purchased 2 x PowerGard Multi-Insect Automatic Diffuser Kit and they work perfectly when we first purchased, once they were empty I replaced them with refills and that is when they stopped working, they didn't work. refills and not sure why they dont work. They were to expensive to only work once and throw away. Its just strange that it wasnt just one of them it was both that won't work. Is there anything I can do it's very frustrating.

The squirty thing doesn't depress – These are great, when they work. Unfortunately we have 2 that stopped working after short use. Same old issue- does depress the squirty thing. Mortein Naturgard eucalyptus: Automatic Indoor Insect – Got the eucalyptus scented one few days back and I am loving it. no flies and also acts as an air scent. compared to various ones I have tried, I prefer this one especially for one with sinuses :). the scent doesn't last long in the air though, just a couple of seconds. Show details

Warning - beware – Spray can be accumulate and make you sick. Our large dog was very ill and we thought would die, couldn't get a vet over the weekend and realised the spray could be responsible. virus. I had headaches, my asthma was really bad and I spent a day in bed, then dragging myself around. As soon as the spray got pelted in the bin, things started to improve. I researched the ingredients in the spray... not for my household ever again. If it kills bugs like that, good chance its not good for us either. Also because its odourless you can't smell it but your breathing it in. Toxic and I'm sure it killed the fish. Make up your own mind but anyone with chronic conditions really needs to toss it out immediately.

Very Disappointed – This is the first of the new design that I have bought and will be the last. I have an older model that was working perfectly. Timing of spray is all over the shop, and intermittently just stops working. Done all the usual, checked batteries even replaced a couple of times. Bugs seem to be immune as well. Show details

Fine for a while – Same as other reviews. Had our unit for about a year, but only use during the summer. Eventually the gears just don't compress enough to make a spray. Replaced the canister and the batteries to no avail. Just resolved to using the canister as fly spray. Granted it works pretty well, but don't expect a long life out of it. In this case, I decided to contact Mortein’s help desk, and I was asked for photos of the greasy paddle etc. According to the gentleman who manage this case, my query how to remove the annoyance was sent to Mortein R&D team. After a few days, I got an email saying that I did not use the spray according to instruction! The spray should be installed 2 meters above any surface. Because I was not able to find any information on the can, I asked for an instruction copy and I got it, but the quality was so bad that I was not able to read it. I should not be surprised, as it was a typical brush-off business model. I did not request any financial compensation, just simply asked how to remove the paddle. Unfortunately, it was beyond R&D team to find a solution to my simple problem. Just a thought, the residuum is extremely difficult to remove from a simple surface so as a rhetorical question: what about my or your lungs, especially your kids?. I know that the Mortein R&D so-called experts will say that the product meets all certificates and standards. Well, in 40-60’s R&D experts of DDT manufactures would say the same and after few years they admitted that they were little mistaken. At least they knew how to remove DDT ☹

Rubbish – How can anyone defend this product? I had four spays operating through the house due to a lot of bugs coming in. a sticky mess on the floor, put on in the garage and my windscreen took a moth of cleaning before it was clear again and paintwork was grimy…..take it off the market please.

Only works on outdoor setting – New design is terrible. Won’t work on indoor setting bar the initial spray when you change it’s setting. But outdoor with spray every 10 or 49 seconds so can’t win. This is the second of the new design I’ve bought. I won’t be buying a third Show details

Disappointed – Had one for a summer season and had no problems. We replaced cannisters this year and now it sprays every 20 seconds no matter what setting it's on. The cannisters are not cheap or even reasonably priced so 20 second sprays aren't economical especially when we the flies aren't even around all the time. Show details

I put the can/ refill in the airwick sprayer thank god they reliable and there battery life great! Uses a can in 24 hours – The new sprayer I got is awful, always spraying even though it is set on the lowest setting. Going through refill tins in no time. Cost a fortune. Waste of money/product is faulty – I have 3 systems. Every time I replace can, it does not work. Battery fine. Upon reading all the reviews I see this is a common problem. been buying their products most of my life but will not bother again. Most annoying when they tell you to do all these things to see if you are the idiot not able to operate such an easy product when they full well know it’s the mechanism.

Works when it works – I installed it about 4 or 5 months ago and it was working fine. There were less flies flying around inside the house and several dead ones on the floor, but it has now decided to spray every 9 seconds. Another useless product – This sounded great in the ads, and for the first can, it worked perfectly. However, subsequent refills do not work - and we cannot fathom why! Sprays for the first hour or so, then nothing. Wasting batteries as well as product cans. The idea of the product is sound, but the refill side does not work as advertised.
