Mortein Peaceful Nights

Don't buy it... Buzzzzzzz... buzzzzzzz... buzzzzz – Save your money. This product is useless. Had no effect on mozzies - at all. Cheap plastic fly swat worked better... Customer service from company is crap too. They're not interested in feedback about their product. Try aerogard plug in diffuser instead. No chemicals and safer for precious family including fur family...

Inefficient product. Electric hazard. Be careful – I bought 3 of this product. At first I thought it was working okay. After a while I realised it didn’t do much at all. Excellent mosquito repellant – Works really well. Used it for years. Ensuite, down 2 metre hall always has mozzies, bedroom has none. And it seems to last a lot longer than a month. Would be annoyed if they will stop making them. Show details

Well... it seems to work for me – In warm weather I sleep with the bedroom door to the balcony open; no screens. When I have the Mortein Peaceful Nights loaded and switched on, I never have mosquitoes. I don't hear them and I don't wake with itchy bites. my own experience from the past few summers is all I can say.

There's no odour and if I forget to turn it off in the morning, its built-in timer will do that for me. Four stars not five because the refills are quite pricey. Sometimes Woolworths has the entire kit on special for less than the price of a refill.

Hahaha – I love the PAID REVIEWS saying these things actually work... Lucky it's not winter yet or I'd have mice getting attracted to it for the warmth

Misleading – This product fails to deliver big time. Mosquitos stand on it. Mortein once had a fabulous, effective electronic mozzie zapper with pad refills but discontinued it for this? Don't waste your money. Show details

Of no use – Bought this hoping it would solve my problem of being bitten by mozzies ! No Way ! This is rubbish - it is not worth the money – This new 'replacement' for the original Mozzie Zapper is an absolute waste of money, and a piece of absolute rubbish. citronella candles in my home to repel mosquitoes. It is obvious that Mortein want their customers to stop buying their products, when you experience this ineffective product. Do not waste your money on this trash.

They leak and you are lucky to get three nights – I have purchased three of these Mozzie Zappers and they are definitely not worth the price of the packaging. remove the cartridge jammed and I had to throw the whole gadget away. They automatically turn off after a certain time and usually it is when you need them the most. I use mine in my bedroom at night and unless I had the door and windows shut, I still was bitten by Mozzies. Such a total waste of money, the cartridges are useless. I liked the old blue paper Mozzie Zappers they used to have at least they worked.

There's a reason it's 'odorless' – I was praying for this to work and put an invisible bug killing haze all through my room - didn't happen. I have given it a chance for three days and the bugs seem to be flying past me grinning widely giving the thumbs up. mozzies eating my children – This product is far from peaceful! My children have woken to the sound of mozzies for the first time- they are 6 and 8 and brought up on the reliable mozzie zappers (blue pads) in both Melb and Syd! They don’t all work it’s hit and miss – I’ve had to throw 2 out that didn’t even work the clear liquid inside didn’t even disappear it just lit up and nothing happened and bright orange light is so annoying

Works for us driving away mosquitoes – This seems to have the same effect as the “Mortein mozzie zapper” in driving away mosquitoes, except this one has an automatic turning off function(will turn itself off automatically in 12 hours after being turned on). Mortein mozzie zapper, although this product does not have strength level selection as the mortein mozzie zapper does. We have been using this product in our bedroom for two months every night & have had no mozzie bitings at all! It seems to drive away mosquitoes well: in the this 2 months with this device turned on I only once heard a mosquito buzzing near my ear then it seems to fly away never coming back nor biting us. So a well designed product quietly driving away the annoying mozzies without tangible smell.

OMG worst one – I didnt have that many mosquitoes before but i purchased it to get rid of that small poplulation as well. But from the day I started using it, I feel like more mosq buzzing around me 10 times more. I feel like they infact love it and are attracted. I have never seen such a terrible one.

No one told the Mossies – The only thing that mosquitoes love more than the Moreton Peaceful Nights product is ME !. Have tried to sleep with the device a foot away from my head and still get buzzed . Would love to see the research results !!!!

Waste of money does not work – For many years we have used the Mortein mozzie zapper refill pads which they no longer make so thought we would try their new product Peaceful Nights, biggest waste of $20, the mozzies were still buzzing in my ear only 1 metre from it. Mortein please bring back the Mozzie Zapper Refill Pads.

waste of money,time etc – basically does nothing,mozzies live happily around this device.Make sure all screens are shut and do a bedtime patrol with your favourite spray can, These(sort of) devices are borderline con jobs.

Sadly Ineffective – Doesn't work...most unfortunate as where i am mosquitoes are in millions. The old mozzie zapper was a wonderful product that was 100% effective. Don't know who it was that made this terrible business move but it will cost mortein a LOT of customers. The new product does nothing at all, nothing!

Keep mozzie away – So far so good. Didn't have any mozzie flying around at night after i start using it. The only baf thing is, i do not know when it is empty. No indication at all. When the mozzie is back in the night then i know i need to change it.
