Steer clear of Mr Pest Controller. We received a spider spray treatment which damaged the paint on our house. The damage was reported to the company a couple of weeks after the treatment took place and documented with clear photos. damaged section of the house was built and painted only 6 months prior.
In the months that have followed with numerous emails back and forth, the company has been very unhelpful, shirking responsibility, theorising about how it's a "moisture problem", and refusing to return our money let alone pay for the damage they've caused.
We are so disappointed that a business would treat clients like this. We have now engaged Consumer Affairs to move forward.

Follow-up · found out they did not do what they said they would do , dig a trench and spray , instead they say they worked out they would just spray with better product.

Jack came out on Saturday morning of a long weekend when other companies had no one to work. He was efficient, professional and explained everything. A dedicated worker amongst this company. The area guy took weekend off & Jack came from far away to deal with our situation.
Pritesh has been coming to our place in Mulgrave for the past three years. He is super reliable and gets the job done well! Over the years we have been a massive reduction of pests coming into our home. I will go with Pritesh again next year.

Honestly, reading the reviews online I thought it would be an up-front, easy process. I filled out the request for a quote, stating 4 bedrooms in a 2 storey house. The contractor showed up, increased the quote by 50%, and used the excuse that their base quote was for a 2 bedroom apartment. They did not disclose that there was a call out fee nor that there was no warranty for spider treatment, until the technician arrived. The spray didn't work and they want me to pay again. this business for a spider and ant treatment. The booking call centre gave me a rough quote. When the technician turned up, the price was $100 more expensive. He lowered the price once I told him what had been quoted on the phone.
It was raining when the technician arrived, which I assumed meant he'd have to come back another time. But he said it was fine to proceed despite the rain. He would just mix up the chemical stronger.
He also said there was no warranty and that there was a call out fee if I didn't proceed. I felt trapped to proceed despite feeling it was not a good idea to spray in the rain.
6 weeks later and the spiders and ants never went away. So I feel I've wasted my money and will have to call out another company to spray again.
I called their call centre again and explained everything, trying to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue. They said they would go through the recording to check if they didn't disclose the fact that there was no warranty.
They also said they'd get the technician to call (I assume they are franchisees). He did and explained that the spray doesn't really work on ants and that a call out fee is normal, so I should've known.
They call centre did not get back to me as promised, so I called them again the next day. I spoke with someone different and explained everything again. I got nowhere with them other than being told I'd need to pay again. I asked to speak with their manager.
The manager hinted that she didn't think the fact that there was no warranty was not clearly stated, but she'd need to defer to the technician.
The technician called me immediately with quite an angry, dismissive and patronising tone. Things like "why do the customer care team keep calling me telling me that you don't understand" I guess the booking call centre have no power for good will services despite knowing they stuffed up. Again, he said that call out fees are normal and that HE told me there is no warranty, so I had a chance to not proceed at that point.
So it's my fault for not knowing about undisclosed fees and no warranty, according to him.
I feel I gave them adequate chances to rectify the situation. The patronising call from the technician will make me sure to recommend against using this company again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT CONSTANT SALES CALLS, called in March to get a quote on 1 wasp nest. Great! – I have had a great experience with these guys especially Pritesh. He takes his time to explain things so we know what the best option is. In addition, when he gives the cost price he makes sure he gives an amount that he doesn't change after the job is done (which I had happen to me in the past with other pest control companies). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – The technicians are unprofessional and the product DOES NOT WORK. Technicians conduct on both occasions was not only unprofessional but they were clearly disinterested in doing their jobs. Product doesnt work and spraying quality is garbage. These guys will come in and spray one corner and claim to do the whole house. You will never get your money back. Don't use them.
Worst experience – Third class company with no ethics. I asked for any treatment mainly. Was suggested general pest control which costed us $330 and then it doesn’t have any warranty for ants. things. Nobody at the company cares as they don’t believe in return customers. The invoice mentions only warranty for indoor spiders. Is that a joke. Don’t go with them if don’t want to waste money. Could see ants on the next day of ant treatment and when complained I was told that due to treatment you will see lots of movement. Extremely poor service – I had my garage sprayed for ants, the service fellow said he told me I would have to get the bricks re concreted which wasn’t the case. The ants were back in a matter of weeks, AN ABSOLUTE rip off . I rang the company to complain and was told some one would get back to me, well of course no one got back . I was told it would have to be re sprayed .

that, he only did spider and ant outside. What I was looking for was a quote for inside and outside, and wasps, flys, cockroaches as well. I'd already determined that they were too expensive and requires us to be out of the house which is why I had not confirmed a time.
So the lack of integrity of this business and the slack way of operating is disgusting. I don't blame Todd for this I'm sure he was just operating off wrong information. Either way I cannot recommend the services at all and I'm incredibly annoyed.

Dave was great. Excellent Service! – Dave was polite, professional and punctual. He handled our bird mite infestation effectively while giving us the confidence that the situation would be sorted out. I would highly recommend the service!
Can't get any paperwork – Used a credit card for rat man to come to 2 adjoining ground floor units. Despite asking 3 times could not get a credit card receipt or a paid invoice. Work was carried out on 7th May. It is now 3rd June. This is totally unprofessional.

They were able to schedule me in the following day after I rang in a panic after discovering that we had mice all through our kitchen.
