necessary. We paid for both treatments with the assurance that, if the problem persisted after the second application, it would be covered under their guarantee, entitling us to additional treatments free of charge.
To my dismay, when I reported that the issue persisted after the second treatment, they shamelessly reneged on their guarantee, blatantly refusing to address the problem without charging us again. This blatant disregard for their commitment is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable.
Moreover, the service personnel demonstrated a shocking lack of technical expertise. It seems they randomly spray chemicals wherever they deem fit, displaying a careless and haphazard approach that leaves much to be desired. The inconsistency in their attendance to appointments and the lack of communication is equally exasperating, forcing us to incessantly chase them and endure the inconvenience of rescheduling.
This entire ordeal has left me questioning the integrity and competence of your pest control service.

termites, the first was discovered in an annual inspection in the walls using Termatrac detector. The second, years later was in the flooring. Those infestations were eradicated. I have approximately 80 square meters of polished timber flooring and 10 foot high ceilings downstairs and 9 foot high upstairs, how could a proper assessment be made using those basic tools. It had been noted in my previous termite report by Tom’s Pest Control that this infestation had occurred, surely this should have been taken into account with this inspection. I have extracts from Tom’s Pest Control website validating my frustration.
When [Name Removed] and his assistant showed up on Tuesday 20th January at approximately 10:10a.m (50 minutes earlier than scheduled), we thought that this would be a good sign of things to come. stated that they would follow through. When we came back into the house however, we found that the mattress behind the sofa had not moved an inch and the bed frame remained untouched. We called Tom's Pest Control and [Name Removed] confirmed that he had indeed done the work despite the lack of movement of the said mattress. Herein lies a discrepancy. In addition, at around 11:00p.m on Tuesday 20th January, we discovered a bedbug crawling on the sofa (please see pictures attached). Also, when asked whether he wore PPE Gear and a mask when doing the job, [Name Removed] informed the company and in turn told us that he had indeed worn them after taking the gear out of his bag after my parents had exited the property. However, my mother confirmed that [Name Removed] nor his assistant were carrying bags or containers that were large enough to house the aforementioned PPE and mask ([Name Removed] carried a small toolbox with the different sprays and his assistant a tube). These discrepancies are a concern and as discussed with [Name Removed] over the phone on Wednesday 21st January at 3:21p.m, I cancelled my follow up appointment scheduled for Wednesday 4th February at 8:30a.m. Overall the level of service provided vis-a-vis the cost ($405.00) was disappointing despite the valiant efforts from [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed] and [Name Removed].

only) within the next two weeks. In the days following the treatment we have seen just three large dead cockroaches, two of them caught in the traps that were left under our fridge. The whole process was seamless, odour-free, and definitely the best pest control treatment we have had over the years. The price was competitive, and we appreciated our pension discount. I kept sending them photos of ants crawling through our baby’s clothes, inside sterilized baby bottles, and even in his bed. It was heartbreaking. Still, they kept insisting the treatment was done and the guarantee had expired, ignoring the fact that I had been documenting the problem all along. As if that wasn’t bad enough, just four months later, cockroaches started appearing again too. I reached out to them, but this time they didn’t even bother to respond. Total silence. No follow-up, no responsibility, no basic customer care. It’s like once they take your money, they stop caring. Now, four months after the treatment, our situation is worse than ever. We are overrun by ants. They are in our clean dishes, crawling over our laundry, even in our baby’s crib. Every single day feels like a battle, they are biting our baby, and I can’t even describe the emotional toll this has taken on our family. Instead of standing by their service and helping us, the company tried to blame us—saying we should keep everything in the pantry closed, that it’s somehow our fault. Our pantry is spotless. We’ve done everything right. But they just keep making excuses instead of admitting they didn’t do the job properly. I would never recommend this company to anyone—especially not to families with young children. They don’t take their work seriously, they don’t care about your concerns, and their treatment simply does not work. We trusted them with our home, and they completely let us down. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this company. They failed us, and they will fail you too.

Started out ok, but after repeated calls back for the same reason was accused of it all being in my head. Have just returned from 6 months on overseas contract and the same pet problem has returned within a few weeks. All this within their supposed 12 month warranty.

I had an ant problem at our property. I called Tom’s and they listened to my pest problems and said they could come out 2 days later. They sprayed and left me 4 gel ant traps for places they couldn’t spray. At the end they provided a receipt after payment and a report as to what had been done. I’m very pleased with their work. Called TPC to eradicate a swarm of bees which had taken up residence inside a brick wall and not able to be removed by a beekeeper. Technician arrived on time and completed the job without any problems. Show reply

Branch. Nobody picked up and message was if you want a return call leave your details, I waited for an operator to pick up but phone just hung up. Rang back a few times and left messages. In the end I rang head office who picked up straight away and explained the situation but they saw my history. Head office said they will find somebody and call me back as well as it will be $299 plus $50 for an odour bag despite the website stating $129. Operator said that's for a 1 bedroom apartment. 4.00pm still hadn't heard so rang another pest controller, 10 minutes later got a call and appointment was booked for 8am next morning. At 5.00 pm Tom's rang back and said very sorry cannot get a technician until a week's time. So would have to put up with the dead rat smell for another week. So much about say day service. Took 2 days for them to tell me they can't get anybody for a week. The competitor technician arrived the following morning as booked, removed dead rat and supplied an odour bag all or $150. The moral of this story, do not use Tom's Pest Control.

and professionalism. Her approach was the main reason I decided to book with them. On the day of treatment, Avi was brilliant. He arrived on time and was professional, friendly, and completely non-judgmental about the state of my 'older house', which I really appreciated. As a single parent, it's hard to get everything perfect, and he was just so respectful and helpful, offering great advice on how to prevent future issues. He was also very considerate of my daughter's personal space and explained all the safety precautions for her and my cat. It's only been a few days, so it's a bit early to know the full results of the treatment, but I'm optimistic. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the bait boxes. I was informed that I was purchasing the boxes as part of the cost, but the key for them wasn't left with me. While I understand the business model, it feels like if a customer buys the equipment, they should have the key. This would give me the choice to buy my own bait and handle it myself in the future if I wanted to. Despite this small point, the outstanding customer service from Jackie and Avi means I would absolutely use Tom's again and have already recommended them to others.

Regards, David. We were extremely lucky to find Tom's Pest Control as they are very efficient and great to deal with. There is no doubt that Tom's will be called for our next pest check. Todd did an extensive check and happily did not find any termites. However, he did expose an unexpected problem in the roof with some cracked roof tiles (daylight could be seen through one of the tiles) and provided us with photos of the problem areas. We were very appreciative that Todd went over and above his normal job of checking for pests to alert us of a hidden problem in the roof. Thanks to the Toms team, you did a great job.

a baby in the ceiling, it flopped around and eventually damaged some electrical wiring. We rang Tom's to see if they could help but basically got the run-around. No call-back. We had an electrician fix the broken wiring and the baby pigeon died. Overall - good job from Tom's but poor follow-up.

Very disappointed with this service. Day one half an hour late with no notification. Quoted a soft clean of solar panels then advised clean is not part of the quote, then advised a clean was done (not done at all). advised the technician that these were a high priority pest to rid for me. I thought that I would wait a couple of more days to see if they came back. This morning, I checked a sandwich hot plate that I had cooked some chicken tenders a few hours earlier and found the tenders covered with black ants. I have just spent over an hour cleaning the sandwich maker and area so that I feel comfortable to cook again.

Tom's were recommended to us by our daughter who was pleased with their service dealing with a termite infestation. We hadn't had a check done in a long time so scheduled one with them. Communication was very good and the technician arrived on time and gave a thorough inspection of our home and gardens and provided a written report with recommendations for future checks and risk areas to deal with now.
