Full installation was completed within 2 weeks from my call. The installer was again really efficient, knowledgeable and even cleaned up. We love our new fireplace, the cost was spot on for what we got, the service was excellent and the end result is perfect for our needs.

that time, we decided to hold off for a while to make sure we purchased the right size heater. With our house now ready we decided to visit their display room and factory. We made the decision then and there to purchase our new wood heater. From the "no pressure" sales and with all our questions answered we were confident we had made the right choice. It was great to see their small workshop knowing that our choice of heater was going to help keep these people employed and support a quality Australian made product. Within a week from purchase our new wood heater was installed and ready for winter. Could not be happier with the product and sales support, great company to deal with and highly recommended.

price came in at $1500 cheaper for the Regency Albany wood heater than another company who quoted us for the exact same heater. So it was foregone conclusion to go with Mr Stoves. Also their turnaround time was incredibly quick as they had the stove in stock and luckily due to a cancellation we had the stove installed on the Thursday after I had only paid my deposit on the Monday! Other places had a wait time of 6 weeks or longer.
It also made it a great deal easier that Mr Stoves organise the installers whereas the two other companies we got quotes from said we would have to organise delivery and installers ourselves. The installers did a great job and knew what they were doing and explained all the operational details and gave some useful hints as to how to get the most out of the heater for it to operate at full heating capacity. They also explained clearly about what they had done with the install in the ceiling etc.
The heater looks great so much better than our broken 30 year old Norseman. They provided a video re burning it in which will be useful. I don't normally do online reviews but felt compelled to due to such outstanding service.

corrosion on the air inlet tube which seems to be made from mild steel.
Since we've been using free firewood, the heater would have already paid for itself in terms of energy bills saved. The air control is very effective – on minimum it will keep wood smouldering (so you have keep the fire going at night or when you’re out during the day) and on maximum it will become a roaring fire. The air control hasn’t really changed in terms of calibration so that’s a good thing.
Overall very good and happy with the purchase. It is a quality Brisbane-made item so it also feels good to be supporting local industry.

Unhappy – I bought a Vogue fireplace in 2020, May 2022 just over 2 yrs now there is paint peeling and flaking around the door and on top of the fireplace, i spoke with Mr Stoves who advised that it is cosmetic and that it may have happened if the stove was not burnt in correctly when installed, which I advised it was. The fact that we were told we would have to pay for postage for a can of paint that we shouldn't even be needing after 2 yrs is a joke. I would not recommend the Vogue stove and are very disappointed with Mr Stoves for their lack of care and concern in their product.
