Very deceiving, will find any loop hole to not cover what they offer – What an absolute joke this company is. They will find any loophole to not cover what they offer. I replied that I didn’t agree with my outcome back in December where I was adviced they would forward it to management for a review, that was 3 months ago - they ghosted me. I’ve emailed multiple times, left voice messages - it’s a dead giveaway when… Read more

HORRIFIC, SCAMMED – If I could give 0 stars I would. PATHETIC scam of a company taking your money and loopholing themselves out of being accountable for providing a service that you pay for. My son had dropped a marker in his hand while sitting on the couch and they void the stain removal service because they claim the couch was being used for unintended use. I didn't realise sitting on the couch with a marker or any object for that matter is unintended use. Show details

Buyer Beware. Appears to be not a real warranty! Feel sucked in by Focus on Furniture – The list of exclusions is so massive it basically doesn't cover anything. How they weasel out of any service makes this completely not worth it. Reflecting back on the purchase of the sofa and being convinced to buy this so called "warranty" feels incredibly misleading. In addition, i've requested a refund considering the lack of service and have… Read more

Warranty claim was for stitching coming apart, see pic, and received this response;

"Furniture First Aid only covers incidents of accidental stains and damage to the furniture’s upholstery that occur as a result of the furniture being used for its intended purpose. Furniture First Aid does not cover: 22. a. manufacturing faults of any kind; 22.k. ii. damage to stitching."

A nation wide Scam from Multimaster in association with Harvey Norman – Bought a sofa from HARVEY NORMAN, Mandurah in WA, with a insurance cover from MULTI MASTER, paid extra for Insurance warranty from Multimaster Australia Pty LTD, when contacted Multimaster with the issue within the warranty period.. they said they cant help as it will need more than one visit from their technician to sort the small scratch that… Read more

happened by accident on the sofa. #HarveyNorman should be ashamed to back fraudsters like #MultiMaster with their products, PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS, especially MULTIMASTER as they are a big scam in the name of furniture insurance. i am going to ensure that Multimaster gets the maximum negative publicity for scamming customers who bought Furniture insurance from them and when contacted they don't honour their commitment after taking our hard earned money.

happy with service – very happy with the service. Had a chocolate stain on my lounge, emailed the company and received a form to fill out which i sent back with some pics of my sofa and within 2 days. I had a technician call me to come clean. Lounge looks good as new. Highly recommend this product for an extra warranty on your lounge if you have accidental stains like we did. Email communication was great. Show details

Multimaster fixed our leather lounge – We had a few small scratches on our new white leather lounge. Lucky for me I phoned them straight away as apparently you need to notify them in 5 days when damage is done/noticed. The consultant asked me how the mark happened and I said I did not know, and we always cover the lounge seats with soft blankets to keep them clean. Apparently if you… Read more ·  1

say you don't know, then you are not covered, so beware!! But Multimaster sent me an email saying our cover does not meet their requirements that we have outlined, however, as a goodwill gesture and on behalf on Harvey Norman as a valued customer, they will arrange and pay for the repair, which in the end only needed a touch up of paint. So all in all we are happy with the service by Multimaster.

Great product warranty – We had visitors and someone dropped a cigarette onto my new fabric sofa. Called Multimaster and lodged a claim they were great. A new seat cover was ordered to replace the damaged one. So relieved that I purchased this warranty. Show details ·  1

Pathetic, this company is out for easy money – They don't return calls nor do they answer calls. They claim that they will under warranty repair pet damage, that is only if the pet damages the surface. I am requesting that they honour the warranty by replacing only the cover and not the insert due to the insert only has minor damage and is fixable by me. They still decline to honour what is… Read more

Dodgy – Was sold a warranty pack for this mob when purchasing my leather couch from Focus on Furniture. Deceiving company! Don't purchase this added so called protection – Purchased my leather couch from Harvey Norman and advised to get the leather protection insurance to cover accidental damages (mainly because we have kids). Upon sighting damage to my couch one day (accidental from my child) , I emailed them and provided photos and information they had requested. They then responded by stating that my claim and… Read more

photos are inconsistent and would not cover the damages! Without even physically inspecting the couch! Very unprofessional and unethical. . Total waste of money purchasing this extra "protection".

Poor Service – Saw Harvey Norman about a replacement kit. No joy there. Was told to ring the company myself. Did so and was told a replacement would be sent immediately. 5 weeks later I rang back, got the runaround for another day and then told my warranty ran out last year. Show details

Absolutely appalling – We were told by the Big Save Furniture salesperson that the warranty covered accidental damage caused by children. However, we were refused by Multimaster because, apparently, the damage caused by my son was not 'accidental,' despite the fact he is an infant. Ridiculous! No wonder the average rating, at the time of posting this, is 1.3/5. AVOID THESE CROOKS. Show details

Shonky extended warranty – We waited over a year to repair a cat scratch. They kept telling us we would get a call from a technician this has gone on and on. Apparently there is no one near us that can fix it. It went on now our warranty has expired. We complained to Harvey Norman and they refunded a kit ($199). I don't think an upholster would repair a leather lounge for that. I would advise people not to purchase from Harvey Norman.

Terrible service for a problem with our leather lounge – We had a similar problem & did not know how the damage happened. They knocked back our claim. We complained to Harvey Norman & someone from Multimaster was supposed to contact me & come out and have an actual look at our lounge. No one contacted us. I would be disappointed if Harvey Norman were to keep selling this crap product. Do not buy this product is my recommendation. Show details

Disgusting Product – Do not buy this product, it's useless. The Skai care kit does nothing, it promises a 5 year warranty which has so many conditions it isn't worth the paper it's written on Extremely disappointed that Harvey Norman continue to sell and push this product. Attitude from Multimaster was extremely dismissive and they were not interested in helping us at all. Shame on you Multimaster, shame, shame, shame! Show details

Waste of time and money! – So disappointed in this company who were dismissive with a genuine claim. Used the 5day, and general wear and tear clauses as excuses even though situation was not, and the 5 days was spent following all the right instructions for cleaning, and establishing accurate cause of stain. Not worth the paper it's written on! BEWARE. Most disappointing of all is their attitude. Show details

Waste of money – Purchased this 2 years ago after being assured that it covers just about everything but when I enquired about the top coat coming of the headrest on both recliners I was told that it’s wear and tear and because of sweat and oils in hair. So I now own a lounge that I can’t rest my head on -.-

Crooks – Bought my sofa from Focus Furniture. They pushed this product as a piece of mind for in case of accidents. Absolute waste of money – When I purchased my fabric lounge suit from Big Save furniture I was told this warranty would cover all accidental stains... what a load of lies. Thieves and misleading, they are simply stealing your money! – They refer anything to tear and wear! If you read their terms and conditions you will find nothing you can claim, unbelievable how they are still in the market! Good reputation store should never use this company!

Scam, miss leading product and false advertising!!! – This company is a SCAM do not get this cover. I got all my couches covered and when it came to making a claim it was declined. I didn't ring with in 5 days after the damage. There was nothing in the fine print or on the pamphlet that informed me of this. The customer service is 0 and ive been left feeling absolutley ripped off. They are they to take ur money but DO NOT DELIVER.

Sneaky insurance - read the fine print! They absolve themselves of all liability! – The warranty is sneaky- read the fine print before buying because they practically absolve themselves of any liability under the ‘normal wear and tear’ umbrella. When purchasing my leather sofa at Harvey Norman the sales agent advised me that the leather warranty on my expensive sofa covers all accidental damage. Turns out this is not true. Put in… Read more

a claim to repair accidental scratches on my sofa directly to multimaster and my claim was declined because the scratches were apparently accumulated damage “occurring over time” and which needed to be reported within five days of the accident/s happening. So I would have needed to make about 10-15 separate and immediate claims for the minor scratches on my cushions. How pathetic. I was asked to provide photos of all the different angles and asked several questions over the course of a week and then my claim was denied. This forces me to question the sales tactics of the sales reps of Harvey Norman because clearly there has been a misrepresentation of facts in that not all accidental damage is covered. Please ask for and read the terms and conditions before buying any type of furniture warranty from Harvey Norman, because I certainly DID NOT get what I thought I paid for!!!! I was certainly not afforded the opportunity to read the terms and conditions before buying the warranty. I wouldn’t have bought it if I had. I stupidly trusted the Harvey Norman sales rep. Do not buy MULTIMASTER FURNITURE Warranty!!!! It’s a complete waste of money. Oh and their leather cleaning product is useless too ... my light coloured leather couch was not visibly improved after cleaning with their cleaning product.

Rip off – Bought this extended warranty because i was told I could get leather products for cleaning the lounge free.. the salesperson said you will get your money back by product replacement.. phoned to replace what I had used & was told sorry that’s what some people were told but it’s not correct.. what a rip off.. never again will I fall for this sales pitch.,

Another rip off insurance company that pays for nothing – I bought a lounge suite through Big Save Gisborne. I was sold on the spin that the leather look material fabric would last as long as leather. But I was also convinced by the salesperson that the multimaster warranty was essential. Sadly they don't cover the fabric falling apart. But will cover one panel with cat scratches. Woo hoo. Not worth the hassle. I feel ripped off. Almost as much as the fabric is rubbish.

Gimmick – Purchased from Harvey Norman. Was told this warranty is the bomb. It's just a gimmick, Stay away people. Just a waste of time. Whatever you say, they will say its normal wear and tear. Also, apparently, you can order more cleaners from them for free of charge. Anyone else was told that?

Waste of money – They're absolute rip offs. I was told that no matter what this company would fix anything that was done to my couch and when putting claim through they declined.
