Administration of customer contact
Have requested prior to today, at least 8 separate occasions to contact my partner instead of me. The fact that I was sent link to review a service I wasn’t even there for, demonstrates again poor administrative functionality within this company
Trent, your Technician serviced our property at Teringie this morning. We were both impressed with his work ethic & the way he conducted himself. Employees like Trent who work at the 'Coal Face' of businesses are overlooked for what they do & it is these people that sell your business . Don’t bother with Murray’s!
Have been getting inspections from Murray’s after finding termites in my floor, am in my 3rd year now, still paying $900 (odd) per year after the initial $2900 for the Sentricon system installed. Two years after settling the baits up a technician told me they should have sprayed under the floor - this would have got rid of the termites! I am still trying to live in a house with rotten floorboards, not easy for me as I have MS and have to use a walking frame to get around. They told me not to repair anything until they gave the OK ...... I am getting the feeling this might be quite a few years and a lot of money down the track! Termites are still here, nothing has changed. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
I asked for an inspection for termites in a home I am about to purchase. The findings came back that there was termite evidence on the property and was recommended that a sentricon active sytem was set up to stop entry into the house at total cost of some $2805 with an on going yearly maintenance of some $660.
Nothing in the report evaluated whether there was any termite activity in the house. My real estate agent(at their expense) then contacted the Murray Pest Control technician who did the inspection to ask if the house showed termite act...
Hi I am very disappointed at the moment. I have Murray pest control sentricon stations on my home for a few years now. Do you not contact your customers anymore for inspections like you used to. I had to chase you up late last year for a inspection, I was told that would not happen again. I was due for a inspection in February which I paid for in the last $600 plus dollar fee for your services. Thankyou for your next $600plus bill caan you let me know what I am paying for.
A total waste of money. Expensive, ineffective and prices kept going up every year. We were trying to comply with building regulations ( turning what had been a garage into a habitable space,) In the end we told them to remove it we had a second opinion from another company who said we had been ill advised and this product should never have been suggested. A very traumatic experience.

We have used Murray’s a couple of times at our home and were very happy. But with our investment properties we are even more satisfied with the quality of work and service provided! We had significant issues with termites at one of our properties and Murray’s assessed the issue and have rectified efficiently. This process has involved follow up visits to ensure the problem had been rectified and I can not fault their communication with us. Very happy with how it was handled (especially with a difficult tenant to contend with as well). Highly recommend!!
Very late, do not reccomend
I arranged a spider treatment and was given a time. They arrived an hour late. While I was waiting unsure if they were even coming I tried calling to find out why they were late I was on hold 15 minutes and could not get through. Poor customer service.
I work night shift and need to sleep during day, my time is precious. I cannot wait around wondering if you will come at all. They wouldnt want to be laying awake at 3am, before their work day, please return the favour.
Will not use this company again. I advise the same if you value your time.
Couldn't Solve the Problem - But Charged Full Price Anyway!
My wife sought and accepted a quote to find and remove a foul smelling dead rat that had fallen from inside our roof into a cavity wall. Simple job? Not for Murray Pest Control. Their service man did not arrive when promised. My wife rang the office an hour and a half later. She was told the service tech was delayed and couldn't make it that day, but then they found someone else who was coming to our area anyway. The person arrived, searched in the roof for an hour, but couldn't get to the cavity wall. Didn't have or use a flexible inspec...tion camera - I thought this would have been standard for pest inspections! Didn't bother to lift a panel or two on our Colourbond roof to get at the wall cavity. Instead supplied us with a rose deodoriser and odour remover bags, plus some more poison to kill more rats! Nice try ... but still charged us the full quoted price for locating and removing the rat. $250 for an hour's unsuccessful visit and a deodoriser. I'd like a business like that! Don't use them.
Terrible service from start to finish
I engaged Murrays for a set of 3 services.
On one occasion they arrived over 2 hours late, after I specifically requested a 7:30am time slot so as not to be late for work. The reception staff were incredibly rude and unapologetic, they advised it was "not a problem" and that the staff would "get there when they get there."
When they did finally arrive, my furniture was damaged by their staff. This time I received an apology.
I paid for the three services in full on the day I received their invoice. Months later they have issued a overdue no...
Rude and scammers
After my termites treatment I was due three months later for a inspection (not what the sales guy said, 12 months) cost me $240 now 6months after the 3 months inspection they rang me to tell me I'm due for my inspection again and if don't proceed my warranty will be terminated!!! That's three visits in a year so I said it's starting to sound like a scam and the guy on the phone says ok we'll forget about your warranty thanks bye and hanged up!!!! Worst people ever I would rather save my money and pay for a whole new treatment.
Poor customer communication. and service
Rang Murray's told us what we should do so we went ahead with it. When I got home it was a mess they sprayed bottom of furniture and stove also electronic parts that were on the ground. Why would a technician spray bottom of chairs and I have 60 square meters of jarah floor boards that are sealed no gaps in between and it got sprayed totally oposite to what they said they were going to do it took us 4.5 hours to clean never again will I use Murray's .
Termite & Spider Treatment - Very Professional & Excellent Service
Cant thank Murrays enough. From initial consultation from Miles to the works done by the tradesman, when cannot fault Murrays service, advice and price. Very informative advice and literature explaining all we needed to know. Thanks again Murrays and look forward to follow up inspections on our dream home. Excellent 10/10 and highly recommend to everyone.
