Angry Wasps - Problem Solved - Fast Efficient and Value for Money – I had a problem with European Wasps. One phone call later and only a day to wait - problem solved. Terrible service – Murray’s did not turn up for the booked inspection and when I finally was able to contact them to ask why they hadn’t turned up Lauren said it wasn’t booked in despite her having confirmed the booking with me via email. She did not even apologise or sound concerned and when asked if I wanted to book in again I obviously declined as their service was appalling.

completion he gave me a verbal report of what had been done and showed me photos of the netting that had been installed and the cleaning that had been done which was extensive! Spider treatment failed – I have an annual spider treatment. Last year there was no decline in the number of spiders after the treatment. When I rang Murray’s to ask what I could do, the person I spoke to was very kind said he knew nothing about spiders & would call me back. continues to work for 3mths. Nothing at all changed in the 3mths, but by then the warranty period was over. I won’t be using this company again

costs have gone up and we will receive even less inspections for a higher cost. When contacting Murrays via email to discuss our reasons for not planning to continue our contract I received no response at all.

Rip off – When I first had my sentricon system installed which was not cheap, inspections every three months , then four, now six even with termites present. Paying $690.00 a year for 2 inspections. Goodbye Murray’s .

Great Service – Call centre was knowledgeable and helpful, technicians were prompt and came when they said they would. What was a serious problem has since been eradicated. I would highly recommend Murrays to anyone needing to get rid of unwanted guests in your home or business.

excellent reputation (so we thought) and their salesman had stated “If after 3 months termites are still found living and active, we will re-treat for free” They came and drilled the perimeter of our home and crawled under the floorboards and everything seemed to be done correctly, so we waited for the result we’d hoped for, no more termites. After 3 months came the “inspection” from their specialist, which was at a high extra cost, where he walked around from room to room with a blue light torch, and what looked like a metal golf ball on a car ariel. He did not look inside and wall cavaties, he did not inspect in the ceiling, or under the floors, he just walked from room to room ‘tapping’ his wand on the walls. After half an hour he came and declared these exact words, “All good, no living termites”. I then asked him to accompany me onto our rooftop, I pushed up a tile exposing the wooden roof trusses and promptly snapped a piece off with my hand, showing the happy little termites going about their business underneath, “What are those then?” He left shortly afterward. I called Murray’s and explained the situation and asked them to please book us in for the “re-treatment”. To my disgust they declared, “ Oh no, we don’t re-treat the entire property, just the square metre where they were discovered”. They then came and treated our front step again (directly under the area I had shown the inspector). 3 months later they called to arrange another $240 inspection and when I said the inspections are worthless they said if I don’t do it, the warranty is voided.

Murray’s Pest Control are rip-off merchants, their product does not work and they deliberately mislead their customers. Please DO NOT use them.

Don't use this company – My 87 year old mother had bees coming into her bedroom. So rang Murrays Pest Control and made an appointment for 4-4.30 that day as my Mum had a doctors appointment at 1.30. When we arrived home at 3.15 that had already done the treatment. As Mum was not home they could not enter her bedroom, so live bees were still there. Just rang up to sort… Read more

this out, no apology and mansplaining procedure. My issue was no one sorted bees inside the bedroom! The operator suggested she use fly spray and here was me thinking they would do that for her ! Mum has now rang up to say she has been stung and they haven't even contacted her yet. This is a health and safety issue- an elderly woman at risk. Shame on you Murray Pest Control.

Don't use this company – After booking online and paying for a certain time I receive an email saying they double booked and changed my time. Two days before my appointment they rang to confirm which is standard. The booked time was 2-4pm and I rang their office at 3:50pm to see where they were. waited another hour and didn't hear anything. I rang again and was told they will contact the worker and call me back. 10 minutes passed and I finally got a call back to be informed they could not get a hold of the worker, they could see where his vehicle was, and they believed he called in sick and the office wasn't informed. No communication to their customers at all.

Absolute rubbish – after first treatment was excellent the first tech sprayed our whole home properly the second round was a tight butt charge did not change baits but charged for it a 3 in one treatment we now have rats spider and cockroach infestation after a 4 month treatment just a ripp off and he was late for the booking . Show details

still trying to live in a house with rotten floorboards, not easy for me as I have MS and have to use a walking frame to get around. They told me not to repair anything until they gave the OK ...... I am getting the feeling this might be quite a few years and a lot of money down the track! Termites are still here, nothing has changed. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

misleading report – I asked for an inspection for termites in a home I am about to purchase. The findings came back that there was termite evidence on the property and was recommended that a sentricon active sytem was set up to stop entry into the house at total cost of some $2805 with an on going yearly maintenance of some $660. whether there was any termite activity in the house. My real estate agent(at their expense) then contacted the Murray Pest Control technician who did the inspection to ask if the house showed termite activity. The technician replied that no activity in the house was found and the only activity was in a railway sleeper at some distance from the house. Most other activity was wood rot around garden beds which is common in the Adelaide hills and of no consequence as I was advised by the real estate agent. It appears that the final report was misleading and advising me into a protection scheme that was not related to the current presence of termite activity in this home. The conclusions of the real estate agent were, that the report was open ended leading to nowhere as it was not possible to make a decision on what action to take.

Baiting systems – A total waste of money. Expensive, ineffective and prices kept going up every year. We were trying to comply with building regulations ( turning what had been a garage into a habitable space,) In the end we told them to remove it we had a second opinion from another company who said we had been ill advised and this product should never have been suggested. A very traumatic experience.

Excellent Service – I rang Murray’s because of noises in my roof, a consultant arrived the same day and found I had rats in my roof. The next day, technicians came and carried out the service. I have been rat free since. What great service!

Poor service – Made a booking and they didn't turn up. You should use a different service. To me, if a company can't even bother to turn up, I don't trust them again. No explanation was given for their no show.

Very late, do not reccomend – I arranged a spider treatment and was given a time. They arrived an hour late. While I was waiting unsure if they were even coming I tried calling to find out why they were late I was on hold 15 minutes and could not get through. Poor customer service. Couldn't Solve the Problem - But Charged Full Price Anyway! – My wife sought and accepted a quote to find and remove a foul smelling dead rat that had fallen from inside our roof into a cavity wall. day, but then they found someone else who was coming to our area anyway. The person arrived, searched in the roof for an hour, but couldn't get to the cavity wall. Didn't have or use a flexible inspection camera - I thought this would have been standard for pest inspections! Didn't bother to lift a panel or two on our Colourbond roof to get at the wall cavity. Instead supplied us with a rose deodoriser and odour remover bags, plus some more poison to kill more rats! Nice try ... but still charged us the full quoted price for locating and removing the rat. $250 for an hour's unsuccessful visit and a deodoriser. I'd like a business like that! Don't use them.

arrive, my furniture was damaged by their staff. This time I received an apology.

I paid for the three services in full on the day I received their invoice. Months later they have issued a overdue notice and letter of demand for a fraudulent invoice of $238 for a service that I did not request, did not receive and was not issued an invoice for.

This was allegedly due to software issues.

I would not recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances.
