After sales assistance non existent and nuisance spam

This outlet in Sydney was recommended however had issue with font size and the laptop drivers outdated or not updated resulting in months of fix via the company which made the computer. Problem now seemingly fixed but cost significant time as these people weren’t at all helpful when contacted and nothing on the computer to enable a link to the manufacturer. The manufacturer when finally contacted however excellent and their help most appreciated. The Frequent sales messages and text links now via phone from MWAVE flogging their products are nuisance spam as somehow they getting around blocking of the number!! Show details

Garbage Customer Service

Bought a Lamzu Atlantis V2 Mouse from their website. Ran into the problem with mouse wheel scrolls in the opposite direction so I contacted them for a warranty. I was told to send them a video proof which I did. They quoted that service charges may apply which is ridiculous since the it was only bought within 3 months out of a 12 month warranty and expect me to pay the postage fee. Fyi, the postage fee costs more than a quality mouse wheel and toolkits to replace it. Hence, I sent them follow-up messages to try to make things clear, but of course, they never reply. You'd have a better experience buying stuff from Centrecom or PCCG, or even Aliexpress. Just steer clear of this hot garbo website! Show details

Poor internal order processing

Mwave's order processing systems aren't very good. Despite placing only two orders, I have had to contact their customer service team for each order to get things moving. This current order is now on 7 business days, and I'm still waiting for the order to be processed for an item that was in stock. Show details

I've been purchasing from Mwave when employed and now retired for the majority of my computer/networking hardware and this company has never missed a beat - and its given consistent great service over the years with good pricing. Zero dissatisfaction

Bought from MWave twice for 2 different builds for me and my son. On both occasions MWave was pretty good. I forgot to buy an HDD on the 2nd lot and they quickly added it on and just gave me a link to pay the extra. Shipping wise they are cheaper too. I did want to buy from PLE but I think they were a bit dearer (not by much). Shipping times were quick via Startrack Show details

Avoid avoid avoid go to PCCG

So sent a motherboard away with unbent pins as per 2 pictures, refused RMA and suddenly motherboard has "bent pins" (one they sent back with circle)

Every bad review you are reading is 110% legit, even worse on reddit. Do yourself a favour and go to PC case gear as they have gone back to how they used to be with amazing service.

Mwave are literally just about lies and deceit aside from saying items are in stock having this happen with RMA is absolutely disgusting. Show details

Do NOT purchase a computer build from Mwave

I purchased an expensive computer build in a full tower case from Mwave. However the computer was delivered with damage to the inside of the side panel and the associated socket on the case.

Mwave claimed the damage could have occurred in transit but that is not physically possible - the socket is internal and the case was completely unblemished on the outside, indicating that no impact or force had been applied on the outside. Mwave were most unhelpful with respect to remedying the problem, putting the onus and the cost back on me.

Having received a damaged build, my recommendation is do NOT purchase a computer build from Mwave.

Do they even properly test PC after repairs?

3rd time troubleshooting same computer, 1st one they told me i had a loose GPU cable, which ok i started up my PC and updated drivers where it instantly stopped working, 2nd time they found it was CPU and it won't even recognise and external devices and has the yellow flashing motherboard lights. I'm concerned I have a dodgy technician twice in a row. 3rd time is the charm wish me luck. I've had good experiences with them in the past, just this one is crap. Show details

I recently acquired this Windows 11 computer https://www.mwave.com.au/product/mwave-office-pro-workstation-with-intel-core-i7-windows-11-pro-ac66678. Works well, no problems. A very efficient unit, however one oddity, when I shut the unit down completely via Windows, it closes down correctly and switches off. The push button on the left will not then restart it unless I turn the power off at the mains briefly! The unit doesn't have an actual 240 volt switch so it's a bend down to the powerboard, cue creaks and groans from this otherwise fit 85 year old! Any suggestions?

I bought a laptop Over a week ago now and it still says processing and it said it would be done processing in less than 4 days but that didn’t happen. I really needed this laptop for work and education and was expecting it to arrive right before break ended but it didn’t. I have no laptop to use for my schooling and it is creating a lot of problems for me since I can’t use a device. Any help?
