No communication or follow up with still no product! – Ordered a custom made pantry in November 2024. Was told we just made the cutoff date for delivery before Christmas. Three phone calls and one ignored email later I’ve put in a complaint to Fair Trading because it is now February 2025.
Disappointing factory mistakes – The book case I ordered was first incorrectly measured and had to be rejected. I needed a Federation style item with special trim to match an existing antique dresser. The book case that arrived on 2nd effort did not have the correct style that I ordered and sales rep was unapologetic. The original sketch they provided was not what I received. measurements showing a consistent 4° tilt to the right—causing dangerous side-to-side rocking—[Name Removed] flatly refuses to acknowledge the defect.
She has insisted the recliner is “fit for purpose” and “meets the model you ordered,” even though it does not match the display unit’s comfort or stability.
Repeated requests for a matching replacement or a full refund have been dismissed without explanation.
Her rigid, dismissive stance forced me to lodge a formal complaint with Consumer Protection WA and set a strict seven-day deadline for resolution.
Under Australian Consumer Law, I’m entitled to a product that matches the sample, is of acceptable quality, and fit for its intended purpose. [Name Removed]’s refusal to honour these rights shows a troubling disregard for both the law and her customers’ wellbeing.
If you’re considering a purchase from Furniture Bazaar, beware: the lounge you see in store may not be what you receive, and [Name Removed] has proven herself unwilling to resolve clear quality issues. I’ll continue fighting for my refund or a proper replacement—and I’ll keep sharing my journey here until it’s resolved.

I strongly recommend staying away from purchasing anything from My Furniture Store. Don't have any positives to take from my dealings with them.
Don't buy from them – So disappointed. Ordered a beautiful bed and got a cheaply made bed, totally different colour, glue marks, the bedside table has dints in it and looks as though someone has taken to it with a screwdriver. readers will be delivered that night at 8.30p.m, I have all correspondence texts ext...as proof, as I was abused by the delivery guy for having stairs so they refused delivery I was then threatened the next day that they were being sent back because I swore. I couldn't believe it then after a phone call from the female at TT who was also rude and condescending her husband or colleague rang me back abusing me further and then called me names. I contacted [Name Removed] about this situation that caused me so much distress and I explained I didn't need this stress as I have enough I'm going through after losing a loved one, he then sent me an email as I requested stating that my drawers would be sent to another delivery company for a 2 man job and I would receive my drawers on the 17th or 18th December, I have heard nothing I rang, texed and emailed and finally got a response that my drawers are back in Sydney and will either get part refund or wait till January. I'm appalled by this disgusting customer service, miscommunication, lack of communication, no updates, now I'm just devastated at the extreme unnecessary stress this has caused me, this is totally unacceptable and I will not be treated like this. I will be taking this matter further to receive my full refund. I had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on, the deliverers were not told I had stairs. I'll be getting my full refund of $1,699 back, it's not my responsibility to do this companies job that they've clearly failed to do, your lucky I only swore, anyone else would have been beyond ropeable for this unprofessional distressing run around and abuse. I do not recommend you buy anything from this company ,unless you want to go through this and end up at fair trading/tribunal court, disgusting absolute crap!
Just Terrible. Don't Buy From This "Business" – My Furniture Store promised for a bed base and mattress to be delivered within 1 to 2 weeks. It took 4 weeks after it was delivered. After calling the store 3 times and asked for the manager to call me back, they did not call me back. After delivery, we found that the bed base is largely damaged visibly in its corner. they said they will not do anything about it and lied that the base had this issue at the time of purchase since it was a display item. They just try to ignore my request. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. No showing respect to customers. No apologies for treating customers this way. Don't EVER buy from this so called business if you don't want to regret like me.

company is the only negative I can give. After a lot of false starts and phone calls I finally had my pantry delivered today, instead of yesterday, which I had stayed home all day for. But as I wasn't home, it was left on my front porch and I can't get it inside on my own. But overall, I'm happy with my purchase and kudos to Craig for the support he had given.
Great price and quality of beds is good – The online store was great. Kids love the beds, though assembly took MUCH longer than the instruction book said and whilst clear instructions there were pages and pages of them. Show details

plus they hadn't sent enough shelves, the craftmanship??? was terrible, the units were not solid wood (as the false advertising had lead me to believe) and the shelves sagged. We decided to keep the bookshelves but just ask for more shelves. No money and no furniture! – Do not purchase from this business. I am waiting on a $3300 refund. Staff members say they will process that day but never do. Craig lied to take my money, the products never came, then they have not refunded my money. I have reported this business to the ACCC.

I rang them again later and was told that my email had gone into a junk email file. I received no apology . By 08.05.2023 I had received no further communication from them, so I rang to find out what was going on and to get some sort of idea when to expect my order. I was told that they would try to get it ready for delivery by 13.05.2023 or 20.05.2023. Those dates came and went and still I heard nothing. I rang them again on 13.05.2023 and 08.06.2023 and didn’t get much help. I received emails on 11.06 and 16.06.2023 saying that my order status had been changed to respectively “Awaiting Shipment” and “Shipped” but when I clicked on the link to track my order it took me to my account which said I had no orders placed. The shelf finally arrived on 19.06.2023, nearly 2 months after I had ordered it. The information on the website is ambiguous and confusing. In the product description it says “Packaging: Fully Assembled) but the unit was in three pieces which I had to put together. The product itself is ok but the so called “customer service” I got from the company was absolutely pathetic. I will never deal with them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE – Absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE QUALITY OF FURNITURE. I bought a queen bedding set with tallboy and side tables. Amazed by customer service – Craig from Prospect store helped in choosing right mattress and bed. Took extra step to Deliver himself on exact date what was committed even when the dilivery driver called in sick. Amazing deals and upgraded mattress at no extra cost as the item went out of stock.
Perfect firm foam mattress – We walked into the store in Prospect and bought queen size foam mattress which is firmer than rest of the mattresses we saw in other stores and on a good price too. Very happy with our purchase today. Show details

Dont answer emails. Accepted payment for an item they dont have – I haven't heard back., They accepted payment then sent an email saying item not available and to pick another. This is despite the website saying it was available. This site must be a scam. They dont answer the phone. They dont answer emails. Ive just lost money I can't afford to loose.
