the truck had broken down. They arrived four hours late with a very small truck. They had been booked for 7.30 am and it was now 11.30 am. One of the guys spent most of the time on the phone. I had been told they would disassemble and reassemble things like beds They didn’t! They did not use coverings on the furniture in the truck when transporting as they had promised. The furniture did not fit in the truck so they had to do two journeys and we had to do numerous journeys in our cars to transport what we could. It was the worst move ever. Walls were marked and damaged in the new house as they obviously had no idea how to correctly move furniture. We are in our seventies and had to move some stuff on our own as one of the movers spent much time on the phone in the truck. On unpacking we discovered some of our boxes had been gone through by one of them and watches and expensive aftershaves were missing. We think it was the guy who was on the phone in the truck who went through our boxes but hard to prove. We have since contacted the company and they gave us a number saying they were looking into it. Spoke to a lovely manager [Name Removed] who was trying his best but now can’t be moved til Easter Sunday . accept money two weeks prior for a job, enter into an agreement, commit to a date, and on the day, do not provide the service. You called at 10am on the day of the move to advise you could not provide the service due to a ‘vehicle breakdown’ You should have hired a vehicle to replace the damaged van. Three people took annual leave to carry out the move, and you failed to fulfil the commitment. Calling at 10 am on the morning of the move is not acceptable and you will pay for this in bad reviews and reporting to consumer council. They never phone calls and an their fleet manger simply turns off his phone. They absolute run around trying get in contact with them. The story change from broken down truck to sick drivers and then to IT issues with each person I spoke to. Eventually 17:00 on the move day they cancelled the job all together right and would not reschedule saying “they have no slots”.
The service is unreliable, and unethical and they have made no attempt to assist or correct your failing customer service. Calling the company on the day of the move, I was kept waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes choosing option 4 ‘trace your van’. However within 1 minute option 1 ‘get a quote or request a new job’ a very bubbly person answered within 1 minute. What business signal do they send, don’t care a dam about existing fully paid jobs, but rather our attention is chasing new work!!?? Shocking behaviour.

had the same experience. They wrote me a legal letter demanding I take down the page, apologise (the irony!!) and pay them $100k in damages... hilarious. I didn’t bother to reply. Since then it’s been on channel 7, in the West and Consumer Protection in WA alone has received 47 complaints and QLD have also issued a warning.
This isn’t just one slip up. This company are scammers! The amount of times their “truck breaks down” or they move someone until the hours of 1am, don’t come prepared with the right tools, ask for cash payment or damage their clients furniture. The Facebook group experiences say it all.
Do yourself a favour and: 1. Stay clear 2. If you have unfortunately engaged them and no doubt has a similar experience, join the FB group 3. Lodge a complaint with your state consumer affairs 4. Talk to the media

on the phone that I had 2 rooms, dinning, kitchen and also a storage that needed to be moved, but somehow the smaller truck arrived. The Mymoover Removalists that arrived on the day said that there had been no communication of this.
On sunday(the move date) a smaller truck arrived, 3.5 hours late and not the Large container I was told. The Mymoovers Removalists told me that not everything would fit. So we then decided, through the advise of the mymoovers Removalists that it would be better to move the following day with a larger truck.
On Monday the MyMoover Removalists arrived 45minutes late.
The first item the MyMoover Removalists decided to move was the couch. They attempted to move it through door, The couch was then jammed in the door by the removalists in which didn't try much to get it through the door. I then advised mymoovers that they should have removed the legs of the couch. In which it was too late in the process but they should have attempted this or at least asked me to do it. The mymoovers Removalists had worn out the sides of the coach that was undamaged on the concert floor and also damaged the door very badly. Once they move it back inside and i removed the legs of the coach in which the mymoovers then moved the couch outside with ease.
At this point the mymoovers Removalists moved the coach to the elevator on the exterior balcony. I went inside to check the damage the mymoover removalists had done. At this stage one of the occupants of the building saw the Removalists leave in their truck. The Mymoovers Removalists didn't say anything to me, they just left in their truck, wouldn't answer my calls or the text message i sent them. The couch was still at elevator in the rain.
I have a fracture in my spine so therefore I am in capable of moving it.
I tried to see what was going on multiple times by calling MyMoovers and was repeatedly hung up on. I was not rude but curious and just trying to figure out what was happening with my move. The mymoover people I spoke to on the phone were not helpful at all and where not sympathetic to my situation at all. It was disgusting.

Stay clear of this one!! – 3 bed. 40km. Careless and incapable. Damaged floorboards and furniture due to complete incompetence on how to safely carry and pack furniture. WARNING; compensation only covers $1000 PER MOVE, with $250 excess!

Best movers ever had! – Moved a medium sized house with the help of these guys, they were punctual, professional and very friendly. Have moved a few times in the past and these guys were by fast the quickest and most efficient. Would recommend to my family and friends and use again myself if needed.

etc with young females. They moved my items from a small 1 bedroom apartment near the city to Baldivis. My friend and I helped load the items on the truck to try and reduce the time, as again I had read they deliberately slow down to stretch out the time. Not only did I have to request them to use that carpet tarp around my valuable items, they did not secure my washing machine and larger furniture at all, even after I asked they just shoved it further back into the truck. They arrived a full 35 minutes after me at the new house. When they finally did arrive, they gave me an invoice for an astronomical amount because they had "arrived early" and "worked over the 2 hour minimum". I had to argue that on their website and the terms and conditions on their email that the time starts when they start to load my items, NOT when they arrive and that they charge in increments after the initial two hours, not round up the next hour. After a lengthy debate they agreed to what the invoice should have been originally. On my email contract it stated that I had to notify them within 24 hours of any damage. Because I did not immediately plug in my washing machine, and waited a week for a friend to help me install it due to the weight, I discovered they had dropped it in transit and cracked an internal plastic piece and water went everywhere. It arrived face down when they opened the doors, and they had placed it standing upright when the left my old residence. MyMoovers refused to take responsibility after numerous emails back and forth, and it ended up costing me hundreds to order a new part and have it installed. I also found numerous scratches and dents in my furniture that was not there prior to removal. Do yourself a favour - pay the extra money to another reliable company and don't risk the stress and unprofessionalism of this business.

Do not use this company – -I ordered a 10-tonne truck- I got a 4.5 truck, a 10-tonne truck would have done the move in 2 loads the movers expressed. Staff were excellent. Unfortunately the company did not adequately prepare their staff for the allocated job – Large two story 4x2- upside down house. Large heavy objects required to be moved eg. Piano, large mirrors, large cabinets required to be carried down staircase. Move was to neighbouring suburb. Move did not commence on time. Movers around approx 2 hours late. Move was only able to be completed with our help.

Absolutely awful. DO NOT USE THEM! – Team turned up with a small truck which resulted in the move of a 3 bed Villa taking two trips and over 8 hours.Team consisted of two men that were apparently on their first day. This was pointed out to the team immediately and they said they would call the office to report it. Bed frame was broken during the move. When unloading the first lot of boxes the team used trolleys and pushed them into the house and onto the carppet causing the carpet to have black stains where the wheels went.Due to the team running out of time i helped in unloading of the truck and moving items to the correct rooms.On loading the truck a box was damaged braking a bottle of oil inside. this box was loaded onto the truck and leaked causing 60-70% of boxes to be covered in oil on the underside. These boxes could not be put into the property on arrival and had to sit in the yard for us to have to transfer the contents into clean boxes and then move ourselves to the correct rooms the next day.Boxes were loaded on their side and the wrong way up.No item was wrapped before moving, only the fridge was wrapped once on board the truck.I refused to pay until the damages were rectified and then they threatened to charge interest on the outstanding balance. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

As no internet at new house, so once I could get back on line and check my bank account I noted they had taken x 3 lots of funds out from my account, called them up a lady answered not very helpful, unable to tell me why over $2,000 extra had been removed without my authorization, she stated accounts would sort it out.....I asked for a receipt I am still waiting. they arrival time. When the drivers arrived they were tired, dishevelled and one of the men went off to use the toilet and did not wash his hands. There was a significant language barrier with both men which made communication during the move very difficult. Upon removed my washing machine the hot water connection cracked pouring water all over the floor which I has to clean up. The driver then stated it was already broken!! The job took 1.45hrs and I was charged the 2.5hour fee. A very unpleasant and stressful experience. Would not recommend.

day on move day the movers never showed up. I never cancelled the job. They said they cancelled it because I did not answer that call! They said they couldn’t do the job, as they had already booked to do other jobs. I had to get my own truck from Thrifty, and do my own move. Was very stressful. I cancelled the cleaning 5 days before it was due. Because of the experience with the move. This was in September. They continue to refuse to refund my $200 deposit. We have called them more than 30 times, plus many emails...and they refuse to give us our deposit back. They hang up on us constantly. Honestly they are not worth the stress they have caused my partner and I at an already stressful time. Our only option now is to go to consumer protection. I even went to their listed business company address and it is a residential house. No trucks there at all and they don’t answer the door. I am actually wondering If this company are a scam.
