As of 31 December 2022 MyRepublic has sold its customer contracts to Superloop Limited (Superloop) and will be transferring its residential and enterprise customers to Superloop.
No human customer service – No customer can talk through phone, no one working on Sunday, my internet disconnected on Sunday for no reason, and I can't find anyone for help, never use this ISP again, really bad services. Show details

Nothing but trouble for the last 3 months and help fixing it was nearly non existent – Over 200 drop outs in 1 month and constant slow speeds even getting as low as 6mbps down and 12 up, no help till i threatened to change carriers Show details

It should be zero stars – Administratively incompetent. I paid for a service. I had that service for years. Every bill paid by direct debit on time. They then transferred my paid service to another customer in another state and did not give me a refund of the remaining amount of my contract. chatbots. They said they would restore my service if I paid for reconnection. If this is customer service. You seriously need to look elsewhere because it is abysmal. Anyone who doubts this should see my chat log.
Easy signup, fast internet at low price! – On the 100/20 plan computers, laptops TV connected at the same time and performs quite well, cheaper than optus/telstra and gave me fast and hassle free signup and 1-month free promotion. switch them back on like I’m a complete idiot. No further solutions have been given, no advice or support. I’ve made 5 different live chat enquires, tried calling tech support over the phone and have now had to email my complaints because without our internet, their live chat feature keeps cutting out. They are absolutely useless and don’t care about their existing clients.
Give your clients effective solutions to the problems reported. We have now had no internet for nearly a week. We now signed up with a new provider and within 24 hrs the issue was rectified with them.
Secondary edit: following being told they would refund me for our terrible experience. They instead processed payment twice and then told me to contact my bank as they wouldn’t have authorised it. It clearly comes under MYREPUBLIC PTY LTD. Can anyone from your company action anything or is it just somehow always someone else’s fault??

anything until the current billing cycle is over. You can't ring MyRepublic everything has to be done via the live support chat. When using the live support chat the Customer Services goes off and does there research on the issue which can take sometime. If you don't respond to them they end the live chat. I could go on with more.........

Great value for early adopters – I joined MyRepublic when they launched with only one tier... Fast! They only offered an NBN 100/50 plan for the price others were charging for half that speed. Naturally I paid extra for the "Gamer" upgrade, which includes a Fixed IP that was handy for work purposes. Over time their plans became on par with everyone else, but with solid connection and service there was no need to change.... Until they decided to exit the Australian marker. Show details
Ludicrous speeds – I’m getting ridiculous speeds of 250 MBPS Wi-Fi speed 20 m from my router and constantly over 900 Mbps connected via ethernet. Excellent product and quality service from start to finish by the staff. Show details · 1

WORST Service Provider for Internet – I was with myRepublic for a 6 month stretch. A special deal ended and they had zero interest to retain my asa customer, so I switched. - I was never contacted about the overdue amount (calls or emails) - The debt was from YEARS ago, but they 'sold' my account to a debt collector - I have a black mark on my credit file that MyRepublic do NOT care about
Once the issued was investigated, the debt was immediately paid, so I instigation action to have MyRepublic credit team take action to reverse any negative changes to my credit file, given the fault was on THEIR end for NOT taking money out. They refused to help, AT ALL, and kept referring me to a collections agency, (whom I paid) who have NOTHING to do the initial error that led me to owing a different company a very small amount of money (<$100). The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced from an ISP. It's the 2nd time since their inception and I can comfortable say, NEVER...EVER again!

just been forced over to SuperLoop as My Republic have gone bust. Now my connection is a constant 51Mbps AND I can get unbuffered 8K video! I was basically deceived by MyRepublic and NEVER received the connection that I was paying for. I'm glad they've disappeared from the Internet scene.

get contacted by a debt collection agency asking for the sum of a monthly bill. Turns out my last bill never successfully paid using direct debit. MyRepublic NEVER contacted me with late payment or reminder. They simply sold the debt. What a great customer experience ….

live chat, besides waiting at least 30 mins everytime, I always got kicked out of the chat and hat to wait in the queue again. When I finially got someone at the other end and voiced my issue, nothing was resolved so we decided to cancel it and cannot even get a refund even though we had not a single day with internet connection.

Never ever choose them over any other internet providers. Nastiest customer service – They all live in a far away land where noone has heard of customer service and on top of that they have no phone number to contact them. Everything is on chat and for every issue their dear chat representatives have one answer “ your issue has been escalated to our support team”. Shop around for other providers – Had gone with Myrepublic for NBN and discovered that it is actually impossible to speak to anyone or get any assistance after hours especially if there is a network outage. Have had a few instances of needing network but had outages so could not use it. So luckily my neighbour shared his network with me. Finally found the time to compare prices… Read more
and decided to switch over to another provider, taking for granted a pro-rata bill with a refund. This is where they get you- you pay for the entire month regardless the unused billing period.
Customer support option for MyRepublic is poor - there is a phone number for Sales but nothing for any further support. The only option is either to fill in a form to be contacted or a live chat but if you don't have network, how do you contact them on live chat?

Do Not Waste Your Time and Money – Do not believe them if they say that they will cover certain charges. You will get a charge for it. They will lock you in contracts after they lure you in with fake advertisements of no lock in contracts on their website. They won't allow your written conversations to be accessed and will try to make everything on the phone so there is no record.… Read more
Record all interactions because they will lie and deceive to get as much money from you as they can get. I didn't get a month cooling off period after they lied to me about a $300 fee they will cover if I go with the 24 month plan. Now they are trying to charge me $174 every month because I terminated my $79 a month plan with them when they took the $300 out of my account. I wasn't even given a full months access to the internet that I had paid for. It isn't fair and it is dishonest. Don't waste your time and money.

Always drops out - Annoying – To start with they were good but now our connection drops out especially on the weekends. I called and they said to put in another connection cable from modem to nbn box which I did and no difference. They are always doing maintenance in the area.....
