I sent an email with a comprehensive list of sizes for a suit, shirt, waistcoat, tie, shoes and gloves. The reply from Australia said to "look on the internet" WOW I never thought of that. Your loss of over a $1000 of purchases you couldn't be stuffed to sort out for me.

via Contact Us on the mytuxedo.com.au website (info@mytuxedo.com.au) asking for an update. I have now sent 3 emails over the past 2 months, and am receiving no response from MyTuxedo. There is no number I can call, so at this point I am feeling like they have stole my money and do not plan on giving it back. Do not buy from this company.

“I bought the Morning Suit with vest and shirt and the quality was the poorest I have ever struck. Every article had faults so their quality control has to be non- existent. The button on the jacket is very loose and the material is of very poor… Read more

Three of the 6 buttons on the vest had come off either in packing or in transit and two popped off when I first tried it on. They actually disintegrated not just popped off. Consequently, none of the buttons can be sown back on. The vest material is nothing short of disgusting, it is very cheap and very nasty.

The clasps on the pants are also very cheap and very nasty as are the side buckles and they obviously won’t last for long. The material is absolutely appalling!

I selected a 45” collar for the shirt and was sent a 46” and consequently it is sloppy around my neck. The collar stays are cardboard and I’ve never struck that before in a shirt.

I bought the suit for an event which requires the wearing of such a suit and which is very soon and so I have not got time to return it and buy another morning suit. I have to make do and get a tailor to perform a Miracle trying to salvage this total piece of garbage.

Dobell has by far given me the worst online shopping experience I have ever had! I wish I had bought elsewhere. I would give this organisation no stars if this website would allow me!”

 Follow-up  · Total cost to fix in Australian dollars was $360 consisting of $200 for a new vest as the one supplied was so poorly made that it was beyond fixing. $10 to have the front button on the jacket reinforced because it was very loose. $150 for a new shirt as the one they sent me was the wrong size. Yes I tried on all three garments. The event is the forthcoming Melbourne Cup in Victoria, Australia.

Lovely jacket, beware of sizing – We ordered a velvet jacket for my sons yr 10 formal. It is beautifully made and looks great but the sizing is very small. His chest measurement is 32 inches so we bought a 34. Did not do up. Returned it and bought a 38. It only just fits. Comfortable but no room to spare. He will look spectacular at his formal. Don't order shoes if unsure about style or size – Product is reasonably priced for the quality. A poor experience with return - they advertise hassle-free returns and encourage ordering different options for trying on. However, returns are at the expense of the buyer, which (in a shoe) is almost half the value of the cost of the shoe. Show details

Wrong size vest with suit – Ordered and received 3 piece suit in good delivery time, but the vest is the wrong size relative to the jacket. I have sent 3 emails now, and can't get a reply. mytuxedo and they recommended that i chose the express shipping option as a tracking number would be provided.

For 100$ a suit, I decided to take the risk and made the purchase.

- The item comes from UK - Both orders came within the advertised working days; 2 weeks for normal shipping; a week for express. - mytuxedo were fairly responsive, 48 hour response time - items were true to size, so go into a suit shop and get exact measurements before making the purchase

I had to also return one suit as it was too small and refund was made pretty quickly.

For those not sure about buying from there, I strongly recommend express shipping (25$) and ask that the Tracking No be provided to you once received.

Great price, good quality and good service.

request. I've not heard from them again. 05AUG19 - I asked for an update via email. My Tuxedo advised they have launched an "investigation" and will provide an update in 24-48 hours and adding they would provide a refund or resend the order express post if the order was still missing outside the investigation period. 06AUG19 - I advised My Tuxedo that the local courier driver and Postman both delivering for AUS Post had no knowledge of the missing order. I emailed My Tuxedo to advise I had spoken to AUS Post. 07AUG19 - My Tuxedo email me back to advise they will now close the investigation as they believed the order had been received. 08AUG19 - I emailed My Tuxedo back within four hours of their email to advise that in fact the order had not been received. I have asked for a resend of the order or refund as per their previous emails. No answer from My Tuxedo. Did a little further research to find that My Tuxedo last posted to their F/Book page back in 2013 along with a number of other complaints online. 08AUG19 - I have contacted my Bank to dispute the charge and have them seek the refund from My Tuxedo. My Tuxedo advised by me via email. 08AUG19 - Courier delivers order. I can confirm the order was sent by "RoyalMail" which is the Postal service based in the UK. Fortunately I no longer need to purchase or deal with My Tuxedo. 12AUG19 - After posting a review to Trustpilot (UK Based), I finally have a response from My Tuxedo offering to resend the order and process a refund. As you can understand a four day turn-a-round to an ongoing problem that they are aware of is not acceptable and merely shows poor SLA standards towards a customer. I was also promised in an email the resend would be shipped as "Express Delivery", however I have received an email (same date) to confirm "Standard Delivery" for the resend and a refund would be processed (same date). It is clear that My Tuxedo have some issues internally that affect customer confidence.

The website leads the customer to believe My Tuxedo are local here in Australia, however based on the time frame of emails it is perhaps not and I would support those that have found the company may be based offshore. My Tuxedo confirm in an email they are a UK based business with a "returns" business in AUS.

Would I use them again - not at all. I have advised My Tuxedo in writing of my concerns and that I will dispute the transaction if they can not confirm in writing the express delivery with a tracking number or show a refund has been processed.

If only you could ship products you 'Sell"' – I ordered a Paisley Jacket (yeah ok), but unfortunately my experience exactly mirrored other customers. refund. If your product's are so good and value for money as some claim, why not just get your shipping sorted out? You might then have happy customers and a profitable business model. I'm waiting for a refund, lets see if that happens.

So if you are considering making a purchase, try the Salvo's or an Op shop of your choice instead, at least you'll end up have something to wear and you'll be helping someone out. Merry Christmas MT!

Dont waste your time or money – Contrary to the impression that this operation is in South Australia...these guys are not in Australia. So I put out my feelers to get a sense of their operation with a fairly specific enquiry of what I needed, the sizes and the timeline involved.... Still waiting. I gave them a chance despite the majority of negative reviews... and based on that they lost a sizeable contract.

sure we have the correct address on their files. Emailed info and get a reply from a [email removed], saying that they don't know what has happened to my order, even after emailing back the order form that they sent me.

After several more emails that I have sent the My Tuxedo, with no response, finally I do get a reply, and [email removed] says that I mentioned this in the last email ( they must be stored in the clouds with all the other emails ).

[email removed] latest offer is to pay for the dearer postage and I will receive my goods, all of a sudden they must have my order. Once again I mention this and no response.

The other problem is my wife mentioned this to a friend of ours and they are going through exactly the same, and the emails are the same word for word.

So now we have handed it over to the legal authorities and they are pursuing the matter on our behalf, and investigating the company.

A SIMPLE WORD OF ADVICE,

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!

started to worry and emailed them, response was reasonably quick and they attempted to be helpful. I think the back-end of there process is just not quite sorted yet. I had paid for express order with a delivery of 4 days, I then found out that the company is based in the UK!

Well Guess what? The suit arrived on time and is an excellent garment. I have no complaints and would recommend them. However, when you order, make sure you contact them and ask for the shipping number and the courier service as it is not automatically provided.

Product never arrived!!!! – I bought shoes for one of my groomsmen! Size 14 and patent leather which u can imagine is very hard to find! They were sent apparently on the 2nd of November! I’m getting married in 4 days and they still haven’t arrived!!!! It’s been way over the 10 working days! Would not recommend this site! I’m now asking for a refund and need to find shoes elsewhere!

Should have come here first! – Order placed on 6 October 2018 and they promised free delivery within 7-10 days. Up to now (6th November) they have not delivered the items. horrible store and do not deliver as promised – Order placed on 7 October 2018 and they promised free delivery within 7-10 days. Up to now 31 October they have not delivered the items. They make it the purchaser's responsibility to sort out where the items are and what happened to the order. I should have read the negative reviews here before purchasing anything from these thieves.

Great experience! – Echoing Will's review on Sep 11, 2018. Placed order for a tuxedo on 20.9.18. Then checked for reviews and found a number of negative ones where people did not get their order in time for the event. Emailed and got an immediate response. Apparently the previous courier not satisfactory, and this has been rectified. I received my order on 25.9.19 - 5 days later! Very happy with service and will order from then again if need be.

Don't bother - they're not even based in Australia – Don't be fooled. These guys are based in Europe, not Australia. My item still hasnt arrived after paying extra for express service. I have requested a refund as the item wont arrive in time for my event.
