Sydney Mowers is a scam! Beware! – I experienced exactly what others here have experienced - ordered a mower from the website, paid via bank deposit (to a Westpac account in Sydney), never received the item and then the website shut down. I can’t believe these people continue to scam people even after all these people reporting it. How are they getting away with it?

Lawnmowers.sydney – Lawnmowers.sydney is a scam. I recently bought a $453 lawn mower and did not receive my goods. Their website is now shut down. In the reviews they were previously Lawnmower.melbourne. Please do your research if the the price is too good to be true its probably a scam. They have been reported to the police.

Lawnmowers.Sydney – I am so glad I found these reviews. I will be able to cancel my credit card before they can process payment. Now trading as Lawnmowers.Sydney with the man in red pushing the mower with the black background. I was uneasy about the lack of phone numbers or street address and obviously rightly so., I could have lost $2400. I will buy my mower from a shop after this.

Mower.Sydney – Scammed $570 by these guys, credible website with allocated order numbers emailed. I'm waiting to hear if I can stop my payment to a MD Viergever. My thoughts now use language I cannot print, my sympathies to all who have lost money to these 'people' a lesson for us all about internet naiveté.

I too have been scammed by Aussie mowers.com – I should have looked them up here first Taken for $132 paid by Visa card Same story they emailed that the mower had been sent and the web page closed down Anyone been successful in getting their money back

Aussie mowers scam – Got scammed $250 from Aussie mowers under the name pitaroski. They provided with bsb and account number so technically the banks should be able to find out who they are

Looks like they are on the move again – We were scammed to the tune of $740 trying to purchase a lawnmower from Lawnmowermate.com.au. Never received the mower and website disappeared. Seems they change through a number of names. I noticed that AussieMowers.com.au were selling earlier this week but noticed today they are gone. Don’t buy from these sites if they come up. Have reported to the bank and scamwatch. Don’t expect to see the money

Got me too – I got scammed by aussiemowers.com.au out of $1266, email said product was shipped but noting has arrived. Do not buy from these fraudsters, I will try the bank but i doubt that i will have any luck

Aussie Mowers scam – Don’t use this site - although it’s shut down. The scammer has traded under different names, usually the same logo - black background, red writing and man profile pushing mower. Other names have included MyMower, Lawn Mower Mate and Mowers Direct Australia. He will start again under a new name. Particularly awful as we are all in lockdown. I’ve lost $400 but I’m far from alone. I don’t understand why consumer affairs can’t deal with this.

Scammed by 'AussieMowers' – I placed an order worth >$2000 on Friday. Just tried to ring to get an update on the order and realised there's no phone number and the website has 'closed for maintenance'. Here goes the long process of dispute request.

Disappearing Company – I purchased a Mass port online 2nd May. a link and invoice for mower and saying order was being processed. Yesterday an e. Ail saying order waS shipped Alarm bells as I can't get into site.. Its closed down so looks like I've been done for $272

I got scammed by aussiemowers.com.au – I think I just got scammed by aussiemowers.com.au. I placed an order for a Masport Mow N Stow Mower on 16 April 2020 and paid by online bank transfer because a further 5% discount was offered. Paid a total of $314.00. Received email advice that the order was shipped on 24 April 2020. So far, I have not received the mower. Tried to go to their website this morning (11/05/2020) but it has disappeared!

Scammed – I ordered my new mower and took the pay by bank transfer to get the 5% discount. I have lost $1500. The bank details have changed so the account has been drained so no chance of bank recovering my money. I have lodged a dispute but it won't end well

I too have obviously just been scammed! – I wish also had read this before purchasing from them. Are now trading as Aussie Mowers with that same logo...paid up front to get a discount..have lost $480.00...no phone number or address, should have set off alarm bells for me...now I’ve lost even more as still have to pay for a new mower!,, delivery of mower well overdue..

ABN, no phone no., no street address in Marsfield NSW 2022 where office is supposed to be located. If you use a special code April20 free delivery... no credit card or else a surcharge, direct credit using osko to a Commonwealth Bank Account at Martin Place Sydney (RBS on-line Services in name of SBJ Walker Mowers BSB 06 -2948 xxxx3952.) Have put in a disputed transaction report with our bank but don't expect any return of our money. Reported to Scamwatch also.

Beware of scam websites – Like several others I have been scammed by lawnmowermate.com.au. The website looks very genuine, they even generated an invoice, and changed status to "shipped". But I never received the product. This is a scam website, it is being investigated by police. One thing they did is offering more discount if you pay by cash, and charge high surcharge if you pay by credit card.

Ive just been taken for $399 by Lawn Mower Mate. No product. Beware fellow disabled pensioners – I am a disabled pensioner in rural WA. SCAM Website now called LAWNMOWER MATE – We are the latest victim to be SCAMMED! We brought a mower late February with the lack of communication from this site with my order I was starting to get suspicious. So today I jumped on the web to see if this company is a scam and to my horror it came up but under a different company name but same logo on product review. This scam site should be shut down.

Mowers Direct Australia – This companies web site looks very professional but they are a scam. In December 2019 I paid $500 for a Honda Self propelled mower which at the time I thought was very cheap however after a week I tried to cancel my order as I got suspicious but they would not respond to any of my emails. Scam by mower – Bought mower from mowersdirect which from other reviews seem to be the same. Same graphics Website looked professional. Got a discount for direct deposit into a bank account so thinking that was better than giving over CC details Aussie website. Disappointing to say the least especially if this person is Aussie

Total scammer!!!! – Purchased a mower an+ send the money within two days. These people will let you know the money is received and contact you regarding the bank transfer. But it comes to sending the mower it never happen. We lost about $400 contact CBA to report a fraud but nothing happened. The money was transferred to an ANZ account. It is funny but government organisation seems to care these American scammer operating around Australia.

Just don't get sucked in like I did, give them a big miss. I have reported them to ACORN for their fraudulent activities, so that says it all when you are simply attempting to buy a mower from an Australian business with an Australian ABN and a domain ending in .com.au, and then I have to engage the banks fraud services as well as report them to the cyber-crime officials. Total scammer and fraudster, be warned.
