easy. D (dig) day came and excitement was real, the hole was dug and three days later we had a pool on a truck out the front. We got to have photos with it before it was craned in. The install team were fantastic and were very open and explained everything. I must out line the install team I must say they were amazing to deal with and answered any question we had. Once filter was installed it was all explained with ease how to manage it all. Handover came and Mark explained it all and always offered for additional help even after handover just to call and he will come by and help. Thankfully since it was all explained so well that was not needed. Aftwr hand over we had pre arranged a riler and fence conpany to finish it all off. We have now completed the rest and have OC and are enjoying our Synphony 6 as much as we can. Highly recommend Narellan Pool.Hills District.

quoted a glass media filter system – they installed a cartridge system We were quoted a specific Zodiac VX50 Robot but they supplied an inferior VX robot. I was told it was an upgrade when I questioned it with the installer, but it isn’t. We were quoted a Ph controller, they didn’t supply/install one. There was a tiny chip in the pool – they said they’d be back to fix it, never did and that’s when the installer became even harder to contact. Through the entire process making contact with them was a mission to test the most patient. We started to notice discoloration of the pool but after seeking the advice of several pool chemical companies, chemical suppliers direct and pool valet companies nobody could help. I didn’t talk to the installer early on as they just don’t answer the phone and when they say they will visit they often don’t. I eventually contacted the installer who came around to take photos of the pool water records and he actually said they looked ok to him. After lots of back and forth I decided to contact Narellan direct to reduce these frustrations and actually get somewhere with this issue. I can’t explain how astounded and cheated I felt, I was offered no hope whatsoever. These are the type of people you hope your elderly parents aren’t scammed by and here I am feeling those exact emotions as I chase some sense of accountability and assistance from a company which just doesn’t seem to care. After initially getting through to “the right person” ensuing phone calls from my mobile number and emails into Narellan were not being answered. I called from another phone and amazing… I got through. The person on the phone told me I needed to talk to the same person I had been talking to and to leave a message. I did, nothing happened. They are the most evasive company I have ever dealt with. I sent an email giving them 48 hours to get back to me. They said the high chlorine bleached the pool. Strange, no attempt at an official handover until 6 months after install and they suggest I am to blame. The installer told me 6 months was a normal period from install to handover! The only advice I had on the chlorine was when their elected pool valet guy came round to clean it out and showed me the chlorinator and said if I wanted, I could use the boost button if we had the pool full of people/kids and to keep the cover off during winter to avoid a white line around the pool. I too his advice on board. Narellan offered to send away a microchipped sample of our pool to test the gelcoat. At this stage of dealing with them I had no faith but said yes. I was told it would take approximately 6 weeks. Approx 6.5months later I had heard nothing so I chased up about it. Still no reply nearly 3 weeks later so I chased up again, still no reply as of today. While all this was happening, I noticed I was topping up the pool way more than I thought I should and upon reflection I realised I was topping it up from the beginning but not so regularly and the pool shops just told me it would be evaporation despite the fact my friends who have pools were not topping theirs up anything like I was. So, some time ago I told the installer and his response was for me to get a guy with scuba gear in there to check it out it he said it would 90% likely be the hydrostatic valve. Great after-sales effort AGAIN! So, I found a competent person who jumped in the pool and instantly found the cracked light housings. One of them has a huge crack around 80-90% of the diameter and looks ready to break off completely and cause a much bigger leak and no doubt additional issues if this happens. The other lightly cracked and the other fully intact. The installer told me his lighting supplier asked him for the pool water records. HILARIOUS! More evasion of the real issue as suspected. I have spoken to no less than 4 companies (including the actual manufacturer of the lights) around this issue and they all laughed at the suggestion it could be the composition of the water, with most of them suggesting straight away it would be from the back filling or overtightening of the rear nut during installation. The installer told me it looked close to breaking off and wanted to help me fix it but I’ve heard it all before. The phone call finishes and you never hear from him. I didn’t hear from him again and he hasn’t replied to several emails. I have been forced into a corner to fix this myself, I have no choice as he has stopped responding to me despite knowing it is close to breaking off fully and agreeing that it needs to be addressed quickly. To be honest it would need it to be repaired in the best possible fashion so although I feel they should be covering the costs I need to find someone who knows how to competently fix it without pulling up the tiles around the pool and that is proving difficult. I wish I could say a potential new customer might get lucky and employ the services of an ethical franchise with actual principles, and some level of responsibility to do the right thing but even then, with a serious issue you would have to deal with Narellan direct and that for me, and for many on this site who have been similarly duped, has been a futile exercise. Yes, we held back on the small final payment but who wants to pay for this level of service and products which differ from the initial quote we contracted into!

tiles and cut the pool bond beam and top of the pool (photos attached), they provided no supporting evidence that the beam was structurally sound following the works. Fast forward to 2024, I have confirmed further leaks in the spa jets, in the same locations, given this, I have now raised concerns with the rectification works to which Narellan have taken no ownership of.

Don't use this company! – when Narellan Pools was installing a pool at my neighbours they showed no regard for my property and trespassed with their digger onto my land to dig the hole for my neighbour. The truck driver was rude and tried to intimidate my other neighbour when she requested they stop and the office staff were not very helpful either as it took 3 phone calls to get them to cease. equipment needed for our pool was supplied by them, we didn't need to outsource for anything. Maintaining the pool is easy & if in doubt, its just a simple phone call for assistance. As long as the sun is shining, we're enjoying our pool. Best investment we made. !! :) Our landscaping is yet to be completed around the pool, which will really make the pool look amazing.
