Ordered plantation shutter for bedroom to match rest of home. Came within time promised which was the 6-8 weeks. Customer service was great and installer friendly and efficient and installed within the hour. Would highly recommend.
Terrible! DO NOT USE!
LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! I highly recommend you do not use these people. 12 months after signing the contract I had the blinds ripped out. Nothing but problems from the start. I had to chase them to have them installed as they blew out their original install date. What they installed was not what we ordered, they also did not fit and were not functional. I had to pay more to have them rectified in an attempt to make them usable. They never worked properly. I am out of pocket a couple of thousand dollars with all the time off work for the huge amo...unt of visits they had to do, all the extra work I had to have done with electricians and builders in an attempt to rectify their original design stuff up (that they wouldn't pay for) plus all the damage they did to my house and furniture. In the end, it took me 12 months of fighting and they are finally ripped out and gone, and i am left with a damaged house and what an awful experience it was. I can honestly say i have never had to deal with such an incompetent bunch of people in my life. Their customer service is atrocious, i constantly had to chase them, they rarely phoned me back when they said they would, and i had to fight to get less than what i was entitled to by consumer law anyway! Trust me: shop around. I wish i had done my research and seen the hundreds of poor reviews online before i jumped in.
Poor customer service and Rude office staff
Do not use them at all - even they are the last installer in the industry. First of all, the office staff is very rude; and the schedule for installation is very slow. The office staff is rude and arrogant; and their price is high. Do not use them under any circumstances.

Our order was to be installed August 2017 before my daughters wedding didn't happen, they measure radius with cardboard and news paper, the track arrived with angle instead of radius, sent back after 3 months they said (oh the track fell of the truck and snapped we will make another one and install by Christmas and now they don't want to do it and asking the balance of payment and threatening us if you don't pay we will hand it to dept collector. They are unprofessional untrustworthy people. We should've read all the reviews before hand. They showed no manners whenever we asked to settle this matter (take it or leave it who cares) their attitude.

Our order was guaranteed for install by Christmas 2017. The product sent to our home was the wrong size on two occasions. Staff blame the supplier. Staff do not speak politely or problem solve (except to suggest cutting your fittings to a smaller size to fit the incorrect blind size). Either staff do not involve the manager when customer requests or the manager is non-responsive. It took a complaint to Fair Trading NSW to get this problem sorted and FIVE MONTHS to get the product installed. THEN, the manager has the gall to phone less than 24 h...rs later to demand payment. His customer skills are shocking- wails about personal problems (truly, I would have been empathetic but he is just so rude about it) and gets verbally aggressive about 'people who don't understand' (ie you, the customer) suppliers etc. There is not sufficient space to share the breadth of the problem so future purchases can be forewarned, so I would recommend DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Spotlight were way better and that's where i'll go for my next blinds/awnings.
Wish I did my research!
Like everyone else is saying on here I wish I did my research before choosing to go with Nepean blinds! I ordered vertical blinds in with the guarantee they would be ready for me to pick up within two weeks. Now I’m being told I won’t even have them within four weeks. I’ll be moved out of my house by then.. fantastic!!
Got a measure and quote. Then got a check measure all semed good. They took forever and 1 installer came out and then fabric and boxes were wrong size so they went back and then I had to constantly chase them up over the next 3 months to just get any excuse (manager isn't in, the person i need to speak to is off etc) then as soon as i mentioned 'refund' all of a sudden the manager could call and the correct sizes i needed were in and therefor I was unable to get a refund. I then requested they be installed in a weeks time and they said no as ...they needed 2 installers available (yet only 1 came the first time) Then it was an extra month wait (I'm assuming the product wasn't in, and they were buying time). All up took 6 months to get 3 pieces of fabric and 3 boxes for our existing front awning frames.
The customer service is terrible. I was trying to get a status as to the blinds i had paid a deposit for installation for 2 months ago but no one could seem to help or get back to me everyone time i called or emailed. Finally received a call from upper management who was the most unprofessional and rude thing i have ever had to deal with. Telling me it was all my fault due to a reference number i forgot to put on the payment. I would never use this company again.
Do Not Use
I would not recommend this company to anyone, they have terrible customer service, unreliable and salesman didn't know the correct products as I was told he knew and had exactly what I wanted, ordered the product/style name he said it was called and paid deposit on the same day. Install was cancelled twice with only 1 hour notice both times, being a working person I therefore had to arrange time off work again, when they finally came to install I found out the product was not what I had asked for. When I rang the office to explain this they wer...e very rude, unhelpful, said that guy doesn't work for us anymore so they could find out and they don't have the product I wanted, when I asked what they would do, and if they could call me back with information, I am yet to hear from them, however every day since install they have left a message on my phone rudely asking for the final after install payment...yet no information as to how they intend to fix the wrong product I have.
Warped blinds 4 weeks over due
Was told 10 weeks for plantation shutters. I had to chase up for update. Emails ignored. Then was told next week. 4 weeks later installer arrives and installs warped blinds to nearly every window, one window without complete frame too. I withheld last payment. Have to wait a further 6 weeks they said for new blinds. I asked for compensation as it will take 6 months all up. A message from receptionist said management said I don't qualify! USE YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS. They are obligated to repair or replace or give you your money back if they can't provide a first class product.

Great Customer Service
I was looking for some external awning for my newly purchased property, i rang around a few places and after i had a few quotes I called Nepean Blinds and got a quote, From the reviews on this page I was very hesitant, However I am glad I decided to go with this company, the Sales Rep was sooo lovely, not pushy and the price was great. When the day came for Installation it was raining and I was upset that I had taken a day off work but I cannot control the weather, they called me 1st thing that morning and rescheduled my appointment for another...week away as the forecast was rain for that week, the customer service was great, they gave me all of the information i required. When the Installation day came I was soooo Thrilled with the product. I guess some people need to realise that people make mistakes and also no-one can foresee the future, I guess people think jumping up and down and writing bad reviews is going to help but I would highly doubt that. Good on you Nepean Blinds for the great job!
Warning to all
Do not order with this company!!! They provide sub standard products complete with defects. You will be told " it's the manufacturers fault" and if you speak with the owner of the business you will be told "you are not dealing with someone from a current affair, you know." What business owner says that to a customer?! You guessed right Nepean Blinds don't care about you only getting your 80% upfront. I see they have removed their facebook business page because of all the negative reviews, might give 2GB a call and let them know that they are en...dorsing a company that do not stand by their products and do not provide service that you would expect from any decent reputable Sydney company. I am still waiting 4 months later for them to fix the defects, what an absolute joke they are. I will name and shame them as much as I can on all internet forums so someone else will not be blind sided by these mugs. karen P.
Well well well shocking service
I ordered screens and shutters early 2015. Yes 2015. We are still waiting for full finished product. We owe them $$ and thankfully we were smart enough to withhold saying finish the job properly. In the meantime over one year we have received payment notices but no reply to fixing or competing job till today. Over one year latter. The shutter we ordered was all scratched and then replaced with a bad fit. Screens don't fit well and they ordered screens for sealed windows ummm sorry!!! Don't use Nepean Blinds. Don't expect payment if so we are expecting a huge discount for such a long wait and shocking service.
Our pull down blinds that were installed were hanging out about 10cm from the wall, so there was a huge gap, It looked very out of place. This was eventually fixed after a couple months but should have been installed correctly in the first place. Was not too happy with the in-store customer service either. We had a much better experience with Wynston Blinds after this.
Appalling service, terrible product
Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. 18 months and we are still waiting for our faulty plantation shutters to be repaired. They never contact you, all they are interested in is getting payment. Truly awful company and product. I am amazed they stay in business.
Disgusting service inferior product.
We asked for clear zip lock patio blinds to replace existing cheaper ones to keep our undercover deck dry from rain.
Salesman came out on 1st October 2015 gave a quote said deck would be waterproof. Asked salesman would they be in by Christmas an was assured well before 4 - 6 weeks. This was the winning point before Christmas.
10 weeks later I get the call to install missing parts, nothing but complaints about how hot the day was sat in van most of day put up 2 blinds out of 5 and removed all of mine. No phone call from their office to re sch...
Failed Shutter Install
Save your money and spend elsewhere - they botched the installation on 2 new shutter installs and wanted to repair and paint them and not replace the damaged ones - as well as damaging our cedar Windows .. And the manager thinks it is acceptable - still going on AVOID THIS COMPANY
