Absolute Incompetence – Paid deposit at end of 2021 for flyscreens for new home. After three months they called to say ready to install. Same guy who did original measure came with flyscreens that were not for our job and a job order with different measurements to the ones he originally took. He re measured and went off. Another wait for a few months. Another install… Read more

date. They do not show. I call. The screens that they came with the first time, incorrectly measured are sitting in the factory untouched. So why did they book an install date. I had enough. Every time I spoke to someone they knew nothing about the job, I had to repeat my story time and time again. I cancelled the job. Lost my deposit. And now, I receive a letter in the mail 18 months after I last contracted them demanding the balance of the monies for screens they did not manufacture, did not supply and did not install. They win hands down the award for running, jumping and standing GALL. I had a competitor in the same area measure, quote, manufacture and fit wonderful screens within 1 month after I dumped these guys.

Worst customer service ever – Ordered 3 plantation shutters 6months ago and still no outcome. Have been given the run around by everyone there. Poor Installation – Poor installation, fabric came out of track soon after installation and after calling Nepean blinds they came and fixed more than four times and it still comes out of track. I wouldn't recommend Nepean blinds seriously waste of money and time. One of the person who came mentioned that it's poorly installed and they have to take it back to the factory but never heard from him again. Show details

Poor quality and communication – Poor quality workmanship and terrible communication. Failed to reconcile my payment which led to delays. Actual screen door is terrible quality. Photos attached, gaps in the miter joints, screws missing during install and bracket holding door couldn't even be screwed in straight or with the same colour screws. Looks worse then a DIY job. I recommend you DO NOT use this company.

excellent service – after initial concerns that we could not use the window locks because of the frame on our plantation shutters, Matt came out to offer solutions, new locks fitted by Jay, could not be happier, great service, great solution. BEWARE – If I could give them no stars I would. We are located in the hills area this company had no issues coming out to quote and installed but the moment you need their awful product fixed they don’t want to know about you as their repairers don’t travel to the hills area. It took me almost 3 months and 34 calls to get my retractable flyscreens repaired… Read more

under warranty and they wanted to charge me $90 as I was out of area even though this crap product was under warranty … their retractable screens are rubbish the stick down the middle never ever sits straight honestly I would not ever buy from this shockingly run business Customer service is appalling !!!

who I was and even questioned if I definitely came into your Penrith office which was insulting, felt like I was being treated like an idiot. She finally gave me a quote later that day, I asked if we went with the Crim safe door being more expensive could you round of $50 to make it an even number? If so, we would go ahead with it, the woman said she would ask her manager. I heard nothing back until the following Wednesday, and then I got a message from the same girl asking me do you still want me to find out about the $50 off? She still hadn't even bothered to ask. We ended up going to Winston's instead, they were so much more professional, and I actually got it at the price that we asked her to find out about. Also, we did ring up and asked to talk to the manager about our experience with the customer service girl, and you probably guessed it, we never heard back from the manager.

Terrible customer service – Placed order for shutters and blinds and was told they would be installed in 8 weeks. After numerous phone calls, texts and visits to their office, they were finally installed after 18 weeks and only then after threatening cancelling the job and asking for a refund. My calls were never returned and I had to push and push to get any answers. One… Read more

of the blinds was measured incorrectly and the shutters had the wrong mechanisms installed, so back to the factory they had to go! When they finally did get installed they wanted payment before the installers left our premises. I understand that a lot of businesses are doing it tough with Covid, staff shortages etc, but if they had just communicated with me and told me what was going on, I would have felt a lot better. Instead they just made up excuses and tried to shift blame elsewhere. I would only recommend doing business with this company if you are not in a hurry to get your blinds and shutters installed.

hopeless planning and communication – I booked a service call, which was super slow to organise and communication often poor - it finally got done but I had to call about it many times. I also booked a sales call and they gave me a time slot, confirmed it, then forgot to tell me it was rescheduled. Very Poor Service – We paid over $20,000 6 years ago to put blinds and security doors in our home. I was recently advised by them that I could install a dog door in 1 of our security doors. As long as I could prove they had originally made it. I provided proof of purchase and paid a deposit. The door was to be ready in 2 weeks. 6 weeks later. Now they say they cannot do it due to the quality of the door and will return it undone. Show details

Rotten eggs – I had roller blinds installed in June, 12 did not fit as to date they have fixed two, yes Covid caused delayed to blinds manufacturing but not to emails ..no one reply’s , left so many messages..even with management ,disgusting lack of service especially when they are the ones who stuffed up..wish i read the reviews before using this company..

After 4 weeks advised of delay due to COVID, waited 2 weeks for further ETA. Took a week to respond to an email & was told in no uncertain terms to be patient, should be another 2 weeks. Needed clarification that the screws used were tamper proof, still waiting on an email response & return phone call from a week ago. Extensive delays and poor service – Like many other reviews it seems that I am not alone having a poor experience with this company. There has been problem after problem with curtains that I have ordered and as a result it is now 5 months after I have paid a deposit and I still do not have all of my curtains. Good range of products – Office staff were friendly and sales rep Jackie was great. She had good product knowledge/advice. Blinds I ordered were what I got. Installer arrived very late, but was polite and efficient. Also ordered shutters and the guys measuring up also turned up late. Installation next week. Shocking experience - don't pay for the warranty not worth it – The initial transaction with the Sales Rep was pleasant until we had issues w/ the plantation shutters. I spent $21,000 for a full house of plantation shutters. The shutters started splitting and warping. I contacted Nepean Blinds and they denied all liability. Disgusting! – Ordered a screen door. Needed deposit upfront as had to be custom made. So after that a person comes out to do a "check measure" (after original quote and measure). Asks what side we want the door handle on. Of course we say the same side it is on the current screen door and the interior door. After 6 weeks of waiting installer arrives and… Read more

instalks door knowing that it was manufactured back to front!! The very same man that had the details from asking us what side the door handle was to be on! Instead of telling us, he just installed it ( damaging the other side of the door). When we said it was not acceptable he simply said it had to be paid for in full or he had to remove it. When we asked him why the door had not been checked when it arrived at their store we were told "because it had plastic wrap on it". He then proceeded to tell us "doors manufactured back to front happens all the time." He removed the door and the company said they would "repair" it- by pulling the sides off it. Totally unacceptable as would weaken the rest of the door! They would not replace only repair. They are nothing more than thieves. We never look at reviews- but are kicking ourselves now. So save yourself the insults and aggravation from a company who only want your deposit and go ANYWHERE ELSE but here. The staff were rude and lied. Made no attempt to call us back. Will continue to tell everyone NEVER use this company.

Terrible! DO NOT USE! – LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! I highly recommend you do not use these people. 12 months after signing the contract I had the blinds ripped out. Nothing but problems from the start. I had to chase them to have them installed as they blew out their original install date. What they installed was not what we ordered, they also did not fit and were not… Read more

functional. I had to pay more to have them rectified in an attempt to make them usable. They never worked properly. I am out of pocket a couple of thousand dollars with all the time off work for the huge amount of visits they had to do, all the extra work I had to have done with electricians and builders in an attempt to rectify their original design stuff up (that they wouldn't pay for) plus all the damage they did to my house and furniture. In the end, it took me 12 months of fighting and they are finally ripped out and gone, and i am left with a damaged house and what an awful experience it was. I can honestly say i have never had to deal with such an incompetent bunch of people in my life. Their customer service is atrocious, i constantly had to chase them, they rarely phoned me back when they said they would, and i had to fight to get less than what i was entitled to by consumer law anyway! Trust me: shop around. I wish i had done my research and seen the hundreds of poor reviews online before i jumped in.
