this gift 10 days ago, it's really that good! Along with the milk frother, a very professional cappuccino can be had anytime.

Now the machine has stopped working.......I had four coffees yesterday, and was preparing to have my fifth, yesterday afternoon, when the machine would not start...no lights, no nothing.

Today's Sunday (8am), and I'll have to revert to my old machine until I can contact Nespresso for service..

This review will include the level of service provided by the warranty, when available.

After a little hurdle (no receipt etc), Nespresso arranged a TNT courier to pick up my old machine, and dropped off a "loan machine", 6 days later, my machine was returned by another TNT courier, and I was back in business.

Nespresso was apologetic, as my machine had a faulty power board. A sampler pack of pods was included with my returned machine.

Overall experience, given the circumstances, I could not fault the service afforded by Nespresso.

Rang toll free number on Friday 13th Jan, machine picked up on 18th Jan, and returned on 24th Jan

Truly, a 5 star service. Thank you...and the coffee machine, very very very good.

July 15th 2017 Update: Coffee Paradise at Home!

My Daughter and son in law gave me this for Christmas last year. After some initial teething problems, which were sorted out by Nespresso (excellent service by the way), my little capsule coffee machine has operated flawlessly for nearly 7 months. Coffee is always aromatic and hot, and has creme on top. I always have a double shot it's that good! Fast to heat up, easy to rinse out. I can have my short black or long black even before the kettle's boiled for my wife's tea! A little fiddly if you want to use the frother, buy certainly still easier than store bought, and saves you $$$'s

Check your cup size! – Bought one yesterday, like the lever action more than the electronic action of the U range - one less thing to break down. Frustratingly though, my mugs are all tall, so don't fit under the spout. No problem, the cup tray folds up for exactly that reason, or even unclips if you want to remove it permanently. bit over a centimetre from the front of the machine, even with the cup tray folded up or removed. Which means anything you put under it is then pushed out away from the spout - even with a regular straight-sided cup or mug, the water hits the edge and splashes all over the bench.

I now notice that tall glasses designed specifically for coffee are all narrower at the bottom than the top, but I don't own any, or any short cups or mugs, so had to exchange it - as I'd used it, even only for water, couldn't get a refund so had to exchange - got a UMilk instead, which has the drip tray flush against the front of the machine. Would've gotten a U Solo, but didn't have any in stock and the sale price ended today. Very annoying!

As I'd used what I now realise was a UMilk at a couple of friend's houses, this wasn't an issue that ever crossed my mind. I'm very disappointed, as I still like the mechanical lever of the Unissia more than what I now have. Plus it was cheaper than the U.

I'd advise taking your cups or mugs with you if shopping for this model!

Perhaps Breville could look hard at this feature, as I'd be recommending it if it wasn't for this. Although the De Longhi model has the same design, and I think the Pixie in both Breville and De Longhi is also the same.

smaller Nespresso pods in comparison to the larger Nestle pods, which by the way don't fit in this machine. No problems with jamming pods once I learned how to drop them in the opening in the top correctly. The free milk frother is just another bonus.

I've been using a full-size Sunbeam espresso machine for many years, with freshly ground beans but the flavour coming out of my new Breville Nespresso is superior to anything I've ever got from the old Sunbeam. Note: I'm always suspicious when I read a review that finishes with the words "don't buy this machine". I suspect those reviews are written either by the opposition or someone who doesn't bother to find out how to get the best from the machine. Mine came from a local electrical discount store (The Good Guys) with a full three-year (immediate replacement if faulty) warranty so I'm fully protected in the unlikely event of a failure.

works brilliantly – received as xmas present the spill tray is awesome flips up to accommodate larger mugs it heats quickly i did crush 1 pod by not inserting it properly the frorher works a treat heats it up quickly although takes roughly twice as long as the pod machine does its my goto machine when not using my espresso machine  Show details

Excellent Coffee Machine – Bought my Nespresso machine in 2016, it still works today. The Inissia is very durable and up to now makes excellent coffee. Easy to use instructions and easy to clean. It is a bit noisy when making a coffee but end result is great. I also like the stand along frother as it makes it easy to clean. Love my Inissia Nespresso.  Show details

Great Coffee – So looked forward to our purchase. Great coffee but ours is sooo slow that the coffee is luke warm upon completion. Pod holder jambs and under the drip tray leaks during the fill. Its just OK – Purchased this coffee maker a few days ago, as the size looked ideal to take in a caravan. Well, decided to try it out, and not that happy with the outcome. milk for a decent cup, and you can either micro fill it to have froth, or you can fill it more and have no froth. I filled it to the max line, and had a major milk overflow.

High hopes-- just okay – I wish I'd waited to buy the coffee w/free maker at Coles a month later, actually. No matter what, only the over-priced Nespresso capsules work in this machine. pods-- I have to insert, push about 1/2", then reach into the small gap & life the pod end so it lines up properly.

It feels like the unit doesn't puncture the pods correctly.

Cleaning is a bit tedious, but to be expected.

Sorry I bothered.

PS: the frother is nice & we use that for our instant coffees because this unit is just not worth the time.

A really good little machine – I just bought this and thought I would share a gem of a fix I found online. I got the machine home…..and it wouldnt pump water. I struggled with it for half an hour…..I knew it had to be an airlock of some sort…..Nespresso fixes didn’t work….then I came across a video where a guy showed you how to fix it in a few seconds lol. bag……and forced the inflated bag into the tank with a quarter full of water….right to the top of the water…..then he turned the machine on with the lungo button. Apparently the bag makes a seal and that causes pressure behind the water and forces it past the airlock.sooo simple…..worked instantly. He used a zip bag….I just used a bread bag and tied a knot in it. Pass this one around…it works for all Nespresso machines….Nespresso should put that fix on their website. Oh yea lol…..it makes really tasty coffee too. I don’t understand people who say the coffee is cold….it’s great….try warming your cup with hot water.

Bought as a gift and they love it! – My mum loved this as a gift. At first I didn't think she'd use it much bit she uses it every day! Couldn't live without it – We had this coffee machine ar work. I was so impressed with it i just had to have one. Love the temerature of the coffee its lovely and hot and the milk frother is great. Too frothy if you use the frothing application but the normal application give adequate froth for a flat white. Love my machine.  Show details

So easy to use & great set up! – We had this sitting on our bench since 2015. Finally as of this month we have started using it and I can't believe how easy it is. It has saved us so much money already as we have been having our coffee at home instead of purchasing from a coffee shop! Awesome Daily Coffee – Was really excited when we got this because I had wanted one for ages. The machine is easy to use. You just put water in the tank, wait for it to heat it up, put a pod in and away you go. Delicious coffee every morning! It's easy to keep clean. You just empty the drip tray when its full - give it a thorough rinse too as it can get a bit funky in there, and give it a wipe down. Fantastic coffee machine, save me heaps of money :D – It is very easy to use and most importantly, very easy to clean!! You just need to pour water into the water container, put the capsule in and press a button! Great value for money, albeit a bit plasticky – The machine went on sale through the retailers on regular basis, so waited for a sale combined with Nespresso cashback. If you time it right you can get the machine and 100's of capsules for very small amount of money.
