Frank Martelli was organised and replaced the wireless charger of the sofa. He is knowledgeable and professional about the job. Great experience with Frank. There was an alignment issue with our sofa which was causing the mechanical recliner to click – he was able to identify the problem and fix it within minutes. I also needed an extension wire to extend to the other side of my L lounge which he had on hand and was able to install immediately. He arrived promptly and was so easy to deal with. Show reply
Was very hard to organise. Needed to call multiple times and got conflicting information. Never got a time text to me and then had a phone call about 40 mins before. there he said it was the weather! We pushed him to still trouble shoot reluctantly- his response was to add some WD-40 which has helped the head rest squeaks for now and talked about springs needing adjustment- that noise is back already!! He complained about how difficult it was for him to put back on his own- I’m heavily pregnant so said I was t able to help. He also talked about waxing the material to stop the rub and then when we asked if he was doing that or we needed to he said it’s just ‘normal wax’ and when I questioned what that meant he said “I don’t know they just gave it to me”. I had to ask for him to go get it and apply it. It was very uncomfortable as he the went on a ramble about safety standards and missed the two attempts of me thanking him for his time and wishing him a good rest of the day. When he did leave we were left a bit perplexed. And within a few hours the creaking of couch was back!! Perhaps the real issue is it’s just poor quality!?

national call centre. Call up - raise the concerns - they book a technician to come out - standard.
Three (yes three) weeks later someone comes out. I have no idea what they did to the fabric, but apparently, it's magically fixed (until it unweaves again). The technician measures and agrees couch is nowhere near the correct size. Was advised another 24-48 hrs until I'd be called with a resolution.
Several days later nothing. Called up only to be advised that Nick Scali products have "manufacturing tolerances" of up to 5% and that they considered the issue resolved.
I explained how mathematics works and have been waiting for Nick Scali to call back ever since. Has been 1.5 weeks and counting.
When a product's depth and length measurements are both ~5% short the total seating area ends up significantly smaller - not just 5% as quoted. This couch is nowhere near as big as it should be.
I'm still waiting on an outcome so I'm posting here as a last resort & to raise awareness. Apparently, Nick Scali thinks this matter is resolved.
Post-sale experience has been awful.
Be warned if you even consider purchasing from Nick Scali- you might end up with a lot less than what you paid for.

told "sorry", your issue. Now just recently ( May 2026 ) another motor has failed. Aside from that , a hole developed in the leather and once again, 'sorry' was the response. We don't have kids at home so the only users are my wife and l. We will NEVER buy anything from Nick Scali again.

The sofa would not repeat the fault when he tested it but he followed through by dismantling the lounge and finding the faulty areas. He fixed what was required, tested the whole sofa operations and explained what the issue was. He said he did not think it would be a problem in the future. His service is exceptional. Hopefully, we will not need to have him call again but would recommend him highly.
Follow-up · The sofa was six months old at the time. The fault was one bolt had fallen out of a mechanism and the second fault was a loose nut on another bolt. I do not know what caused the fault. The lounge has worked perfectly over the last 12 months and has been subject to a lot of use.

room and dining room I bought the furniture in three different locations, Fortitude Valley, North Lakes and Jindalee. I was told the sofa bed would take six to eight weeks. However, I received a text after a month that they're ready to deliver it. I'm not quite ready so the Jindalee salesperson is going to sort it all out for me for it all to come at the same time. My bad. I kept adding on. I'm happy that I'll have to wait six to eight weeks for my swivel chairs that I've purchased four weeks later to be made in the same fabric and a different colour to my sofa bed.
All sales consultants i dealt with were great. I did have the most time on the 19/6 to discuss my concerns with complete matching dining, coffee table, lamp tables and entertainment unit but after these lengthy discussions I was happy with this fabulous salesman making me feel comfortable with my decision. I wanted the entertainment from the Capello range but worried the timber was slightly different from the Traver range I'd bought but he agreed it was definitely more suitable under a wall mounted TV and that in different light the Traver looked super close to the Capello. Sigh. All done now. I'm looking forward to the day I have it all delivered but not the $500 delivery fee, which I feel is steep for a customer who has furnished complete dining and lounge room.
I DO, HOWEVER, HAVE A GRIPE re the fact that round table settings are displayed on square rugs. That is an absolute no-no. I've had no end of trouble finding a 240 X 240 rug. I'm not left with any choice but to purchase a patterned one from Carpet Call which I'm hoping will look good because it's very pricey and it's their only rug in that size. It beggars belief that you can't find round rugs in that size. The table is 160 cm and you need at least 60 cm for pulled out chairs. I would have thought the interior designer/buyer for Nick Scali would have been able to source suitable rugs for their stores.
I shall leave another review after I receive my furniture.
Furniture quality is definitely great! High-quality, sturdy products. Great service! Pradeep at the St Lukes branch was very helpful. He planned everything well and got things arranged precisely. The delivery guys were wonderful and very careful while unpacking and assembling the products. It was tough work for them as we had a lot of products delivered, but they kept working till late evening and got it all done. Kudos to the entire team! Show reply

Went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the set up, and despite no comms from the ordering team re taking packaging as part of the replacement arrangement, were happy to oblige and removed packaging. only signed up for the membership to purchase that specific furniture—why should I be out of pocket for a membership I can't use because they couldn't supply the goods? Head office told me to contact the Regional Manager to sort it out, but I’ve been completely ignored. It is ridiculous to have to argue over something so small and trivial when the fault is entirely theirs. Be very careful paying any upfront fees here.

Rubbish service from Nick Scali Furniture!!! Delivered 4 hours late and despite paying extra for assembly and to take packaging away - they left all packaging in our driveway!! Driver said he was overworked having to make 16 deliveries in one day! Assembly was atrocious requiring us to go back over the items and retighten all screws. Overselling at its worst.
