Excellent customer service
It was very easy to find what we were looking for.and to move around the store, even with a walker. We were assisted with comparing the various sofas, the options for upholstery and the different features of these. There was a very good range to choose from and we found Berto to be extremely helpful in the way he highlighted the different features of them. The one we chose had the features we were looking for. We were also very happy with the amount of time Berto spent showing the various sofas without applying any pressure. He was also he...lpful in explaining the dimensions of the sofa, the need for specific dimensions for the delivery and the conditions of sale. We understood that the delivery person would assemble the sofa and the cash payment required on delivery. Thank you.

Had a wonderful experience with Geraldine at the Jindalee store on Sunday. She was very helpful, attentive and lovely to speak with. We are very excited about our new lounge and can’t wait for it to arrive!

Read the fine prints
Cancellation of an order after 1 day costs $45. It is in the fine print all circled but never read out to you when you signed the order. There should be a cooling off period for all retail purchases not to mention an item that costs thousands. Buyer BEWARE. Don't buy from Nick Scalli, a rip off for nothing that they have lost.
Worst delivery ever
Do not buy from them. I ordered a table which took 2 months to come and when they called me to confirm delivery it was a different day to what I had originally asked for. It took 10 minutes to do the “delivery checklist” and we confirmed the date. I got a call again the next day at work to do another delivery checklist since the girl had “thrown out” the piece of paper?! So the dining table finally comes and the guy tells me the warehouse forgot the hardwear!! They had to take back the table and organise another day. That is another day I had t...o take off work for the nick scali idiots. So I called them up and the lady acted like it my my fault they forgot the hardwear. No apology no compensation just a cold reply of “we will try to deliver it back on friday” . I can tell you the guy selling me the table was pretty upbeat and nice to my face before I spent thousands of dollars in their store. Well today is monday and nobody has called me so I have no idea when or if the $2500 dining table I ordered will ever be delivered in one piece. Never ordering anything from these liars again. Update: they finally delivered the table. The delivery guys were rude and let me know that I had to dispose the packaging myself. They left a 2.5 metre wooden pallet along with a bunch of packaging and boxes in my front yard. I paid $200 for the delivery! Never in my life have I had such a horrid experience with a company. I wish I could give them a zero. Letting all my family and friends know not to buy from them.

Third Party, Fourth Party and possibly Fifth
We bought Ellen Fabric from Nick Scali Lounge from Oxley Retail last year January with $1995 (under their ongoing sale which re-occurs every month anyway!), we were so happy with the product that we even referred our friend by buy the same, who bought in from another retailer almost in half price within a month from our purchase date. When we called Oxley shop, they said it was a discontinued model so price dropped massively, where any big retailer provides some cash back for any such incidents taken place within a month under the lowest price ...guarantee scheme but this company didn't consider any such situation as their products nor even we requested for it any further, we were still very happy with the product. Within 6 months we noticed the fabric started to become loose and showed puddling and in next 2 months the outer cover almost came off the base. We contacted the customer service and the painful situation started since then. We only thoughts the products come from China but didn't understand the staff in Customer Care or even the repairing guys are also sub-sub-sub and further sub contractors. The staff on the phone asked me to send a photo of the squeezed cover which I sent immediately mentioning the sofa is a year old product and we have no pets or kids at home. They first sent a guy who inspected the sofa with laptop, sensor and some electronic devices ( not sure why) and finally decided to take the cover stretched deep inside and stitched it. Once done he realised it lost its regular external flow and confirmed he can't do anything further so there will be another inspection ( but before he left, he left the mud and dirt of his boots all over the floor, hand impressions all over the newly painted walls and extremely messy surrounding), after a few days another person came and probably he had no idea what Nick Scali is and why he was in my house!!! I had to explain him the reason he was there, however, he didn't even touch the sofa and asked what we want; to repair or replace. After 3 minutes of chat he left confirming he will send a report ( not sure in Oxley store, warehouse or in China) to the managers to take follow up. A few days back we got a call from Nick Scali where a lady informed none of the techs found any issue in the sofa its just a normal wear and tear! We were so shocked to know that a $2000 sofa was showing such a severe wear and tear within a year so we confirmed them what the previous techs told us and confirmed to take follow up. After a few days they sent "independent reviewer" (but once again they were not sure why they were in our place). During their inspection, we showed them the problem which they understood, took enormous photos sometime even from nearby table and chairs and confirmed they will mention the issue in their report and asked once again whether we want repair or replace. We confirmed verbally we don't want any replacement but do expect a repair as we dont want to put a $2000 item in garbage after two years of use. Finally today someone from Customer Service called to confirm that the matter has been resolved, no problem found so nothing will be done any further. They followed the steps just to save themselves from any claim but probably from day 1 they knew they will neither repair or will take any action to rectify the situation only we wasted 3 working days to attend the techs who sometime came to create mess and sometime came for the sake of coming/ reporting of their working hours. Extremely disgusting service, so much third party involvement and absolutely no respect for customers. Very disappointed and never to visit or refer anyone in future.

Leather lounge looked good in store, but very poor quality lounge received
Paid $3.5K for 2.5 seat with chaise Vitorio leather lounge. On delivery the leather was loose and sagging in places, gathered in others. It is a sad sight - nothing like the item on display in the two stores I visited. Three weeks later, a Nick Scali Technician assessed and considered it was not worthy of repair. He also noted a problem with the cushioning. Nick Scali has offered replacement only, however I now have no confidence in their manufacturer/s or quality control. I will have to progress to ACCC to try and obtain refund. I am happy ...to provide photos for your information if that will help in your decision making. Staff at Jindalee are helpful, however decision on refund/replacement lies with corporate in Sydney. Update: As a result of my complaint to Queensland Office of Fair Trading, Nick Scali finally agreed to a refund.

We purchased the lounge in store. Once we saw it in store we purchased on the spot. The salesman gave us an approximate for delivery but changed a couple of times. Once delivered and installed the drivers realised that the battery was missing which we had to wait for.Q
Great lounge structural issues resolved
Kayne (Repair tech) just came and resolved our second structural issue with the lounge that we purchased 18 months ago in store. The lounge is great and is what we wanted however there have been two issues, both were resolved professionally by the Nick Scali team and the technicians have been great. It is always disappointing to have issues, so when they are dealt with in such a great way it confirms the organisations commitment to the customer. Thanks guys!

We bought a leather sofa from Nick Scali and after a couple of weeks we noticed that a part of the foot piece had come loose. We phoned Nick Scali and within a couple of weeks we had a guy come out and look at it and fixed it on the spot. No need to send it back in to the warehouse and waiting weeks to get it back. Took him about 10 minutes to fix it and its good as new.
